    Pizza Napulitana
    Hart P.

I ate at Napiz on a business layover in Milan. I was seated promptly and served quickly. In fact, it may have been too quick as the pizza's crust was more chewy than crisp. (Yes, I did the Italian lift and looked under the crust to see how brown it was.) Teh Napulitana focuses on salty flavors and they were abundant in the pizza. An individual pizza is plenty and to go baxes are available for extra. Napiz is fine for a quick meal.

Ordered a Margherita pizza and glass of wine. The wine tasted like it had been uncorked too long and the Chef was very skimpy with the sauce on the pizza- very dry. Service was prompt and attentive.

This place was recommended by my cousin & his wife. My friends and I arrived on a Sunday shortly after they opened & we're seated right away, but the place started to get busy & then completely fill about 45 min after opening. On weekends they don't take reservations so I recommend coming when they open to avoid waiting in line. They give you a complimentary glass of Prosecco & a small toasted bread filled with cheese, tomato and spinach which was warm & tasty. We started with the potato croquettes which to me were just ok, they didn't have much flavor so I added the Calabrian chili oil that's on the table. For pizzas, we shared the Calabrian, the delicata bianca special & the burrata. They were all phenomenal. The crust was thin, perfectly cooked crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The delicata Bianca was light but the combination of the cheese with the chives & poppy was perfect. The burrata was generously covered with prosciutto & the red sauce on the pizza was a nice balance to the other toppings (I feel like most prosciutto pizzas I've had come with a white sauce or olive oil). Lastly the Calabrian was a great balance of cheese and spice, the basil was a nice addition to cut the spice. Would love to come back and try their other pizzas ! The service was quick and kind.

This might be the best pizza I have ever had! It was so delicious and authentic! I am vegan and so I usually expect that I may not have an option or that the pizza I order without cheese may be dry or not as tasty but my pizza was incredible. The staff was so accommodating and recommended a delicious option for me to try and made it vegan for me! Also my brother has a nut allergy and there were no allergens there which was great! The restaurant was also really cool inside and the seating was nice. Also the pricing was very reasonable!

Service was great - food was phenomenal!!! Very eclectic ambience.... Arrive early, it gets busy fast!

The food may be delicious, but the service is terrible. An old man at the counter, apparently the owner. He throws my card and practically slaps the receipt when paying. I don't know what he's complaining about. Is it because I'm Asian, or is there something else that makes me angry? Even if you're angry, shouldn't you not be doing it to the customers? The guy who came to pay after enjoying his meal made this a very unpleasant restaurant.

Maybe the best pizza I've had in Milan and/or all of Italy. Fantastic food and a great environment. Bravo.

Odd and quirky interior, filled with signatures of tourists

We walked in on a rainy weekday evening and it was BUSTLING. I do think it's wellknown among tourists, but also looked full of local working ppl who just got off work. The crust is super puffy on the outside, yet very thin.. classic italian style pizza. The service is awesome and quick (they even gave each table a welcome champgne bottle and bread - crazy).. and the food is great for the price. Nothing lifechanging, but a good hearty meal during our stop in Milan! Would return.

Saw great reviews on TripAdvisor so we checked this place out. The ambience was very stuffy and loud. We were both tired from a long night out the night before, but if you are looking for a happening place this is it. We had to specify multiple times to the waiter we wanted still water and then brought us a carbonated bottle - so annoying. The pizzas themselves were very good, but nothing to write home about. Overall, good if you are looking for a place with a group to drink at lunch, but other than that its just eh.

Amazing!! Their dough is light and crispy, the cheese is salty and delish, and the meloncello was refreshing. We will be back!

Good food, free WiFi. Great spot for lunch. Door was hard to find, just a dark glass door and sign is high overhead. I had to walk back and forth a couple times to find it. Entry steps down and they've tiled the walls and ceiling with river rock that looks similar to what you see in the nearby park. Very friendly service.

I was looking forward to eating here because of the great reviews but I left a little disappointed. The whole place was popping even at 9:30 PM. This place seemed to be very popular with tourist as well since there were many different types of people eating there. When we got seated, we actually got a complimentary glass of Prosecco, sandwich samples and some bread. Since this was a pizzeria, we ordered two pizzas. First one was just a pizza margarita and second was loaded with a local cheese and basil. Both pizzas were okay. There was just nothing special about these. The flavors weren't really there and the middle of the pizza was extremely soggy. Maybe I just put Italian pizza at a higher pedestal but even if this place was in my hometown, I would not be impressed.

Also, there was a bit of a weight when we got there, but it actually grew to almost a dozen people. They see people quickly so the turnover is pretty fast and you don't wait long. Since I was concerned about limited menu, those fears were allayed when the Waiter takes your order - he lets you know about the four or five other ones that are not on the menu that are all sounding great So we picked 'chef special' (they pick for you) and a white pizza. The service was pretty quick, and the pizza comes out right away Obviously with such high turnover, they have figured out the formula for delicious pizza. They nailed the crust as well as all the ingredients. Really delicious. The toilet facilities definitely need a lot of help. That was my only real comment about the atmosphere. It's very basic, you sit at basic tables. They seemed to all be helpful

The chef's surprise was a salami and burrata pizza, and it was top notch. We also had the Delicata Bianca, which was beautifully balanced. Nikola/Nichola was absolutely fantastic: super attentive, friendly, and radiated joy. I also found out he was a fellow Sri Lankan, and we had a good laugh about it. The folks sitting next to us were also super friendly, so we had a great time all around. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Milan :)

Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow.
