I'm not usually one to come on here and write bad reviews, but i'm disappointed. i love this place and i think they have such a wide variety of food on their menu but after what i experienced today im never going back. i ordered the rama veggie sandwich because it looked good, and im also a vegetarian. i got the sandwich to go and brought it home, i took two bites and realized they put grilled chicken in it. i haven't had meat in over 12 years so i am praying that i don't get sick. i went back with the sandwich to show and i never once got an apology. I drove from Ontario to Boston for my fiftieth birthday. I stayed in CT to be close to Six Flags, New England but had driven from there to Boston to do a cruise and dinner the night before. After a very hot day and lots of rides, I was pretty beat and left Six Flags around 3:30. I didn't really want to go back out for dinner, so decided to stay in with some fruity cocktails, but I needed the perfect pizza to go with. I had asked at the package store what the best pizza in town was and was given a few suggestions. I called all those other places, but none of them offered a gluten-free crust. I finally found Pizzarama and ordered a small GF (they only have small but that's pretty much the only size GF pizza anyone offers) with extra cheese, salami and onion. Once I got there, I also ordered a small garden salad, which turned out to be quite large. For the first time in my life, a restaurant finally put in enough ranch dressing for the whole thing. When I got back to the room, I had a relaxing evening, munching on the pizza and salad and having a few drinks. The pizza was amazing. The salami had such a great flavour. It's the kind of pizza you want to keep eating even after you're stuffed, lol. One of the best GF crusts I've had at a pizza place too. Having worked up the street for a few years I have eaten here several times, the food is typically in the 3-4 star range, not terrible but not great. I suppose service depends on who happens to be working and they don't seem to keep employees for very long so I can echo some of the extreme misses on service here. I no longer work in the area but was driving by today and stopped by to see if they were open and grab a few slices. I got two of the three they had left (not surprising for a Sunday afternoon) and the wait to get them heated up was typical. There was nobody in the store but the one person they had working the counter was busy working phone orders and I could tell they were busy doing delivery or carry out orders. However, when the slices were ready I noticed they did not have any of the parmesan and pepper flake shakers out (understandable I suppose) so I asked if I could have a side of parmesan cheese. "No." was the short and terse answer I got, when I asked if they had any she just repeated "No." I know for a fact they had to have had it in the store as it's in a lot of the dishes on their menu, I also know they have small plastic containers they could have put some parmesan cheese into. It might have taken 30 seconds but they decided to turn me away, the slices are not really any good without a little parm sprinkled on top. So will I be coming back ever again? "No." Will I ever recommend this place to anyone? "No." Do they deserve the 1 star I 'have to' give them? "No." Real smart move, less than a minute of your time and maybe a few cents worth of cheese and a container but instead you decided to lose a return customer for life. Good job, "No." read more

Although I was disappointed to see no masks worn by the cashier and two boys behind the counter that were filling condiment cups, I think. The actual cook was wearing a mask and gloves. Yeah. Loved it!! Staying at the nearby Hyatt and needed some food at 9:30 pm. The food at the hotel was no longer available so we ended up ordering from here. We called 3 times because we kept having questions about how late delivery, pick up, and eat in were. Every time we called they answered with enthusiasm. We ended up just doing pick up since we needed to go to price chopper. When we got there there weren't any other customers so I'm sure we were the last and keeping them open. They still were super nice and polite. We got a margharita pizza, tomato sauce over ziti - comes with side salad and breadsticks, and another salad. The pizza was sooooooooo good. The pasta was just a typical pasta. The salads were pretty good too. The portions are pretty large, I'd recommend splitting with someone. I included pictures of each in my review. The restaurant itself had a few indoor tables and outdoor tables. It was dark inside but I'm sure that's just because it closed right after us. The guy working gave us a drink to be nice so that was cool. Prices aren't terrible, especially since you can split the stuff with others. read more

We've been repeat customers ever since we moved to the Windsor area about 8 months ago and have been very pleased with their food and services until today! We are very generous tippers and order at least once or twice a week from them but after today I would rather go hungry then to ever give them our business!!! Last night I ordered a chicken salad with extra grilled chicken, field of greens and cucumbers which was $11 and I picked it up and everything was fine. Today I ordered the same salad and a large meatball grinder with sauce on the side and she gives me a price for the items the salad was more today than yesterday keep in mind it's not about the money but more about how the price increased less than 24hrs later so the girl I was speaking to questioned me asking how did I get both items for only $11 and I explained again that it was the salad that was ONLY $11 last night not both so instead of putting me on hold she proceeds to tell another coworker about it and she wasn't pleasant about it in her tone of voice! So the other employee Carissa gets on the phone with a major attitude and was extremely unprofessional stating how did I get both for only $11 I said I'm not sure what is not clear but I NEVER said BOTH I said the salad she said well they didn't charge you for the extra chicken last night that's why and I said it's not that serious I just asked about the price discrepancy and she had a disgusting attitude and I asked her what her name was she then proceeds to yell to her coworker that she doesn't know why I need to know her name and that I can call her boss if I want to and I'm not sure if the first girl I spoke to was named Sam or her boss was named Sam but she too got back on the phone and was just as rude and she said when I asked her, her name as well she told me to call back and report her to her boss too that she didn't care and he will be there at 5! I said please cancel my order I would never do business with you again and I hung up! Why she even escalated that call I don't know but beware if there is a discrepancy and you question them about it you might get the same treatment by these two young obviously immature girls that don't know the meaning of great customer service! It was never that serious but the level of disrespect from these little girls who clearly don't realize that if it weren't for customers they wouldn't have jobs and Pizzarama would not be in business and that extending excellent customer service will only make your business thrive so treat yourself customers with respect! Being business owners ourselves we would never treat our customers in that manner no matter the circumstances it's just unacceptable on so many levels! The pizza slices were of a generous size, but they didnt pack as much punch in the taste department as they did in the grease department. We stopped at Pizzarama on our way to the Basketball Hall of Fame. I got the chicken taco salad, and my daughter got 10 boneless wings. The large size chicken taco salad was even larger than I thought it would be and was very tasty. My daughter got boneless wings, but they were actually the size of large chicken tenders. That made it a very good value for the price, and they were tasty too. The woman who waited on us was extremely pleasant and nice. I've had food delivered from Pizza Rama a few times now and each time the delivery is exceptional. They are so fast, I'm always surprised when they ring the bell. The food is average: the pizza crust is tough and not at all crispy, there isn't much sauce or cheese but they load up on toppings which is pretty nice. The Calzones are large and very full, I had a broccoli and chicken calzone and the broccoli was perfect. The marinara has a noticeable taste of green pepper and includes pieces of green pepper, I enjoy green pepper so I enjoy this sauce. Pizza Rama isn't very different from the hundreds (thousands?) of other pizza place in Connecticut, their delivery is fast but the food isn't the best. I just moved to Windsor and chose to try Pizza Rama for one of my first meals. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed. The service was great and was able to make my pizza quickly, but the actual taste of the pizza was lacking. The pizza was standard fair with a lack luster crust that was too doughy for my taste. Overall, it was a good pizza, just not one I was dying for my next fix. The crust just killed your mood for another piece. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I ordered 2 large pizzas at 11:30 and the girl who took my ordered asked if I wanted it delivered now or later. I said as soon as possible so I figured 30 minutes tops, well 50 minutes later pizza was delivered. I would have liked to have been given an estimated time of delivery. The delivery guy was very nice. He couldn't make change but it wasn't a big deal he did offer to give me back $10 which would have been a $1 less then the total amount in first place which was nice but I would never not tip let alone make a business loose money.
