Ok so far the best gluten free pizza option in Central Florida. Handmade crust not pre-frozen or molded. Atmosphere was like a small pizza shop but had a home like feel. We had the antipasto salad as well. Definitely a new take on antipasto (no meats on this one). Featured a super fresh and rustic flavor combination in each bite. We will be back. Thanks for the great experience! read more

Amazing garlic rolls. The green goddess pizza was wonderful. Service was fantastic. Thank you so much.

We went here for my sons birthday last week. The food was excellent! The service was great too. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because it's difficult to seat a large party - we sat in the back room and it was kinda tight but still had a great meal! read more

The best Italian food in Mount Dora. Ginny has been our server numerous times and she's extremely personable and pays attention to details! Every time we come in she always knows our order. Thank you for providing a home style feeling with excellent food. read more

Absolutely great crust and really good service. If you have a gluten allergy, they have gluten free crust available. Definitely recommend.

Lola is so incredible and makes our experience wonderful every time we go. The patience and kindness she has for my 5 year old is amazing. We just love her. The food is always amazing and the service clearly doesn't get any better. Thank you PizzAmore! read more

Amazing food. Awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend this place if you're in Mount Dora

I do not know how anyone can say there cardboard pizza is good. When the pizza came out my heart sank. It looked like they went to Walmart and picked up a frozen pizza and heated in the oven and served it. I ate one piece and could not eat anymore. The fettuccine Alfredo. Caprese salad and Caesar salad was good. The service was very good but the pizza is disgusting. read more

My family and I sat down to a fairly empty restaurant. We ordered our food and waited around 20 minutes for the appetizer. The garlic bread was extremely garlicy. Not my favorite but some people may like it I asked for a side of marinara sauce to dip it in, and was told that's $2 extra. I agreed. It was ok. Then we waited an additional 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was okay which is why I gave it a 2 instead of 1 star. Then it took forever to pay as well. The servers were nice but the service speed was terrible. read more

This place is absolutely delicious! Best pizza place in town! We have eaten here a few times and it's been consistently fantastic every time. Try the tiramisu! read more

Reallly enjoyed this pizza and salads. So hot so fresh. Wish there was a bit more meat on the "meat lovers" pizza.

When I first went into this place I feel like I was walking into a home, it has a warm atmosphere like you are eating in a nice lovely home. The servers are friendly people and if you just happen to left something in their restaurant by accident and came back to get it back (like an umbrella for example they keep any lost items safe so that those that lost came get it back. Also as for the food I order a personal 4 slices pizza with mushroom and the pizza was delicious, the cheese and the sauce was good like the flavor explode into your tough, the mushroom on the pizza was okay but the crust was excellent, they made that bread crust part of the pizza that taste so good it enjoyable to eat that part. So if you happen to travel to Mount Dora and craving for pizza I highly recommend PizzAmore. read more

GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Any self respecting Italian Restaurant owns an espresso machine. No espresso should have bin my first clue. Second the extra large is a large anywhere else. Third make the pie right red onions should never be on a pie only white and get the order right. No attention to detail. Last don't cough on my food. Train your people better. read more

Pizza was ok, service was very bad our server was very rude and disconnected from the table (9/14/2019 2pm) we came all the way from Orlando to try this pizza (recommended) by some of our costumers, first and last time her, also FYI they don't take AMEX even though it doesn't said it anywhere read more

First time here. Heard a lot of good things. Have to go back and question those people. Maybe I went to the wrong place...? Sauce and pasta was okay. Chicken parmigiana was fake and mushy. Pizza was okay but other local pizza joints blow this place out of the water. Have no idea what the hoopla is about. Won't be back. We came, we ate, we left. read more

Happy Less burnt flakes on bottom side of pizza from oven leftovers . So after giving them another try since a yr. ago the owner was out cursing up a storm@the new owners of the groomers across the road I Gave them another chance. I got a pasta dish and was tasty. Good location because they have parking if you can't walk far or disabled. Enormous wood beach chair out front for selfies fun w/ family. read more

Excellent meal, Leigh was attentive and welcoming. I never eat an entire meal but I did this time. I don't remember the exact name but it was Parmesan chicken in a broth with ribbon noodles. It had such a good flavor and was not as heavy as many Italian dishes. The Holiday Sangria was excellent and presented nicely. The restaurant was hopping when we went but everyone worked well together, we had no issues! So glad we tried it. read more

We ordered a large pizza and it was not greasy at all, the dough was seasoned and fresh.

Always 100% consistent with their food and service. Tonight we had Olivia. They have the best sangria! The gluten free crust was amazing! Their flavors are so great on everything we have ever tried! One of our favorite spots! read more

Really don't know why I ordered another pizza from this place. It is the worst pizza I've ever had in my life! Be better off getting a frozen pizza from Publix then eating this! read more

I came here with my family after driving by all the time and let me tell you the food was great but the service was amazing. It's about a 7 minute walk from downtown Mount Dora - so well within reach if you park in one of the Public parking areas downtown. It's also not that expensive - we had a group of 7 and the total came out to just under $100, including tip. We ordered the garlic knots, two large pizzas, flatbread, soda and two side salads. Don't take the 3-star rating as bad. The place is okay. Staff is friendly, but it's very loud inside when busy. Waiter was friendly, though he went from that to a little irritated back to friendly a few times. Service was a little slow, but again, the place was packed. Not a lot of large tables - they had to pull together two tables at the front for us. Nice seating outdoors while you wait. Young staff and packed on a Saturday during holiday season. The pizza was...okay. On the bland side, a little over-cooked and dry. One pizza was a meat lovers - and the meat all seemed to have the same taste (pepperoni, sausage, etc.) The other was one (I can't remember the name) that had artichoke, onions, mushrooms, feta-cheese? Again, bland - okay, a little dry. Some pizza places bring out very oily pizzas, which I don't like. This was on the other side of the spectrum. My grandson had lasagna and it looked okay - he loved it, he said. Garlic knots were basically bready rolls with garlic on top. Side salads were okay. So it's okay. Nothing special. Good place just to fill up on less expensive dining than hitting a down town Mount Dora spot. read more

Amazing pizza! We sat in the outdoor area and it was very nice. I have to eat gluten free and the gluten free pizza was some of the best I've ever had. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and attentive. Great experience all around! read more

Pretty solid pizza joint! Service is great plenty of help around and drinks are always full ! I would recommend it. Also it's located in a house , so a fun dinning experience. read more

We were/are regulars here and the pizza is great. My wife gets the gluten free and loves it. The last couple times we have come, the food takes way too long to come out. Even in a dead restaurant, waiting an hour for 2 pizzas is unacceptable. Service has also been slow We will try again because we love the food but, if it doesn't improve there are plenty of other Mount Dora restaurants in town to support. ***just as an additional comment since this review was responded to. We told the server before the feedback was brought up that we were not looking for anything free and we intended to pay our entire bill. We declined the dessert and took our amazing leftovers home to be enjoyed the next day. *** read more

Trying restaurants in Mt. Dora and this was just ok. No bread with your meal, I had wine and had to ask for water. I've ordered pizza from them in the past to go and that was good but will not order their main entrees again. Service was ok. read more

This place is a fantastic pizza restaurant, food is delicious, price are comparative. I recommend it for a nice lunch or dinner. Very accessible, extra parking. Unfortunately, the staff seems to young to understand what is real customer service, which includes smiling and not demonstrating frustration or anger when a order is wrong. service could be a bit more friendlier. read more

For a place that specializes in pizza, they really should learn how to make pizza. Ya know, before you open a pizza restaurant.

Lovely home made pizza in the front of the downtown area of Mt Dora. Great staff and the owner actually works!! Take your family

My family and I used to go to this place every friday night and it was always a great experience. Wait staff was always kind and was attentive of everyone's needs. The atmosphere there is great too because it's the local pizza spot and you go there if you're craving some real tasty pizzas. read more

We had been intrigued by this place for years and finally made our way there yesterday. Such a wonderful surprise! Very cozy ambiance, especially the bar area. Place was packed at the time we arrived, luckily we got the last table and our host promptly facilitated it for us. Prices are reasonable. We ordered the Sunday special and I particularly liked the fact that garlic knots are marinated in real garlic and there was no sauce to dip in, therefore garlic was the main star. Pizza was delicious, very crunchy on the crust and bottom; we replaced sausage for pepperoni together with olive tapenade and plum tomatoes. However, the star of the day was the cheesecake with berry sauce, both home made. I told my husband I could almost lick the plate! I also shared the comment with Bayleigh, our sweet server who had explained desserts in detail upon request, and she said, they wouldn't mind if I did! :) Bayleigh was extremely courteous and attentive, and came our way all the time with a smile. She has great customer service attitude, you can tell even from her body language. I am looking forward to visit them soon and once again enjoy the experience! Thanks to the Management for team development, cleanliness and vibe! Just one comment as constructive feedback: Restroom was clean, however the pressure of the sink faucet was running very low. You may want to check that plumbing. Thanks in advance! read more

The pizza was good and they had an excellent selection of imported beer. The garlic knots were excellent. The service was efficient, but not particularly friendly. read more

It looks nice and the food was ok but not amazing, just average and definitely not worth the prices. The worst part was the service. No one wanted to take our table then one waitress (after passing us 10 times) asked if anyone took our order and took it (even though she clearly didn't want to). It was so bad that we literally joked about how all the waitresses had RBF (resting b*&@ch face) read more
