The ambiance reminds my so much of my beloved San Francisco. The beer and wine list are beautiful. Excellent assortment of ciders (no Framboise though, bummer). The pizza is alright. I'm a New Jersey native so my pizza snobbery is literally a native trait. I found it too saucy, not enough cheese and when I held the slice up, it bent in half. That being said I went back again and tried entrees and found them superior to the pizza. Cute family spot. Solid and normal quality pizza for Florida. Never a sad eating experience read more

The pizza is incredible! And the staff is so nice! The beer selection is out of this world. I can't recommend this place enough. If you have a large party, they'll let you order "to go" and take it out to the picnic tables outside. It's perfect for when the weather is nice and you feel like you have the place to yourself. We love PizzAmore! read more

Where can I start? We were looking for something different that delivered. So we took a chance on Pizzamore. Mind blown. We got an order of the carbonera bruschetta rolls and the pesto chicken sub. Everything was fresh and delicious and hot. And I'll have to say that might have been the best sub I have had in years. If they keep serving food like this I'll be back every week. read more

I have to give 2 stars, sadly. We have eaten here three times and every time, the flavor and presentation has diminished greatly. Tonight, we ordered the bruschetta rolls...no taste and soggy. Also ordered a large supreme pizza...the meat tasted old, stale. Hardly any veggies and the crust was tasteless and flabby. Ordered a side sauce which was half filled for $2.00! Not again. Very disappointed that I am writing this, we really liked it the first time! Perhaps again in the future. read more

First time in Mount Dora! Best pizza and service I've experienced in a long time! A must if you're in town!

Definitely not the best pizza by a long shot. I guess if you've never had real pizza before, this could be considered "edible," but for me, it was more like cafeteria pizza. Ours came out soggy even though we asked for crispy. It had a funny aftertaste too. Overall, maybe they should rename the place to "pizzanomore." read more

The service here is great and the pizza was delicious and for a great price and it next to a town that is really nice and have a lot of activity to do here and shooing read more

Maybe I went on an off day? I've heard such great things about this place, but I have to be honest while the sauce is very very good the crust was awful. I would go back to try the pasta, but I don't think I'll try the pizza again. We also got a sub to go which was pretty decent! read more

Tried for the first time the pizza was fresh and you could tell all the ingredients were as well, the staff was great and friendly, definitely an excellent restaurant! only reason I give four stars is because it's small and kind of crowded. read more

Not bad pizza for a little lakefront town like Mt. Dora. All in all I was impressed. I'm somewhat of a pizza snob and found this pizza tasty. The service was good, great atmosphere (adorable little house) and reasonably priced. Also, enjoyed the spinach artichoke dip. I would definitely recommend if you find yourself craving pizza in Mt. Dora. read more

Visiting for the weekend and just had dinner here. Food and service were awesome. Wait staff works as a team. This is a house converted to a restaurant with a ton of charm. Very clean and well maintained. Will go back in a heartbeat. read more

Place was awesome. The spinach artichoke dip was hands down best I have ever eaten. The Greek salad was good. Very clean friendly service. Atmosphere inside is very welcoming. Highly recommended to eat here. read more

Feel bad for the people posting that this place is good. Maybe they never had good pizza. It was bad. Tomato paste sauce and dough was bad.

I came here the other night with my husband and expected really good pizza... I was incredibly wrong. The staff was rude and did not attend to us promptly. Our pizza came out cold, doughy, and bland but we could not ask for a new one because our waitress was too busy talking to the other staff. Water was empty the entire time. Finally we paid and went to leave but I had to use the restroom, walked in and it was filthy. Trash overflowing, toilets were nasty, and a bug right next to my foot. You'd think with covid-19 they'd try and clean a little better. Horrible experience and will never be attending again. If I could give this 0 stars I would. Save your money and your appetite because this place will turn your stomach. read more

Fantastic service our waitress was Lee Ann. Outstanding. Food was delicious. Enjoyed every minute there.

Food is amazing! Split the fifth avenue pizza and the Brussels sprouts are to die for! Would recommend for dinner or even a lite lunch. Food comes out quick and hot! read more

My wife and I were recommended this place when we were in town at the antique flea market. We found it easily. It is a cool set up and had a nice menu. We sat outside at a picnic table. I ordered two flat breads because they were small. My wife had the mozzarella tomato basil skewers which were good. The garlic bread was not very good. The place was very clean and service was great. Overall good experience. read more

PizzAmore' - Grub! - Pizza Near Me - Mount Dora, Florida

I previously reviewed this pizza shop and I'm not sure what happened to it. Nevertheless I came back recently to meet a friend. The pizza isn't horrible, but it is certainly not what I would call good or even great pizza. It's nice that they offer gluten free pizza, but it is mediocre at best. read more

My wife and I went there several months ago and we are still raving about their salted caramel cheesecake. The pizza was absolutely delicious, too. read more

Great food and the Friday night special is a great deal for a family of five. Love the Greek salad. Love the pizza. Service is great.

First off - you must absolutely have the garlic knots! At first bite I thought they were ok but once the flavor hits they are amazing! I had the pasta which was enough for 2 people and very tasty. My daughter had the Stromboli and that lasted her 2 days. She said it was delicious and full of meat. We also shared a ceasar salad which was perfectly seasoned and the drinks are super huge! read more

The atmosphere and food make this a must visit when in town! A plain cheese or pepperoni is average but once you start getting adventurous and try the specialty pizzas you hit the jackpot. I love the alfredo and spinach fresca and whatever current special they're running as it is always innovative and tasty. They also just made personal pizzas an option (as opposed to just a slice with toppings) which I love because I can do half and half- including the white pizzas I've come to love. Their homemade salad dressing is awesome as is their cheese tortellini (with rose and blackened chicken) their bruschetta knots, the chicken giradino sald and last but definitely not least their arnold palmers are pretty damn good (essential to any great meal is a refreshing beverage!) Enjoy! read more

Absolutely adorable, great food and the cutest little hostess! Come as often as I can at least 3 times every time I visit the town.

Best gluten free pizza I have ever had! Homemade gf pizza crust made daily and it worth a try. We got the spinach Fresca white pizza and the flavor and ingredients were fresh and flavorful! I will be back. read more

What a find in our soon to be new neighborhood! Amazing pizza! Greek salad off the charts! And wow the list of beers! The staff, as well, went above and beyond to welcome us as first timers! We'll be back. A lot!! read more

Our favorite Italian in Mt Dora. Nice nice staff. Great food. Good value and fun. Parking can be a challenge.

Great pizza. Old location was better but otherwise best pie in the area. Would return again for sure

A cute quaint little house turned into a pizza joint. Katie the server is awesome! She's so helpful and sweet! They're dog friendly but only on the patio and their Caesar dressing is to die for and their pizza is delicious! 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Ok, so you wanted Pizza. You look up the reviews and this place seems credible. So you go there and you order. Your pizza comes out you're all excited you're hungry and you get Domino's. Except it's not cooked it's white pizza on the bottom. Not crispy. Now I'm Italian and I've eaten Pizza everywhere in the whole country. I would consider myself a pizza expert. Has to be the worst Pizza in the history of the world. read more

We really wanted to love this place. Building is fantastic and friendly staff but the pizza was below average. Crust is bland and boring, sauce is just tomato sauce with no seasoning. Cesar salad was good! If you want good pizza in Mount Dora, go to Vincent's Italian... read more

Ordered the house special spinach Fresca pie. Absolutely delicious. Crust was crunchy and chewey and tasty. Highly recommend this place. Garlic knots are huge and the chicken wings baked are VERY GOOD. Go here and eat! read more

Boring bland tasteless pizza. coming from the northeast where food is much better, this was so below average.... i won't return... ever. if you want good pizza, try lil anthony's in clermont... comes closer to the good stuff!! read more

Food is great, but there needs someone to be in charge, these kids working here are working the best they can, Devin is trying his best too but when someone spills stuff or drops a basket of dirty dishes the appropriate thing is to clean it up right away, not put a sign over the top of the mess and walk around the sign the rest of the day. Patrons understand the extra 5 minutes someone takes to clean a mess, in fact it is appreciated more. read more

We've eaten here many times and have enjoyed our meals, this time was the exception! We ordered a Greek goddess pizza which for the most part was good... but the addition of bacon bits left a bad taste in my mouth, I expected better ingredients. Additionally I got the chocolate cake for dessert which was dry and the added Hersheys chocolate drizzle on top was not good either. read more

Cutest little pizza shop! Their food is great and their staff are awesome! Leann has been our server lately and she is always over the top!! Definitely a spot we would recommend! read more

Very good food however the service is below average. Not very attentive to us and took close to 20 minutes just to get drinks on a slow afternoon. When the bill came there were even more problems and it took close to 15 minutes to figure it out. Great food, not that great of service read more

Good lunch spot. Leann provided excellent service. Pizza is one of the best in lake county. Quality products, not greasy and a little bit of flop. read more

Really cute pizza place in Mount Dora! Our waitress, Olivia, was attentive and prompt but not hovering. Pizza was great - we got the Bianca pizza and a pepperoni and loved it (the Bianca was my favorite). Friendly staff and great food will bring us back next time we're in the area. read more

Went to PizzAmore today for a Greek salad. What I got was pieces of ham that seems like they went thru a meat grinder, and rotten cucumber. Naturally the owner was not there today when I asked to speak with him. To make a long story short, as another patron left, she came and patted me on my shoulder, feeling bad for me after she saw my salad. Never again will I go to Pizzamore, "Agreed said the patron". read more
