Great customer service! My first encounter with this establishment was on a Saturday afternoon when I went in randomly based off of the billboard I saw. New to Lake County, I didn't know where to find a good pizza. When I entered, I asked if they had any specials and they had the two pi one topping special. I went ahead and got that along with 20 wings. I wasn't sure what kind of wings to get and told the employee what my taste was and they let me sample several flavors. We ordered a pepperoni and a deluxe pizza for carry out. The pepperonis on the pizza were really good but the pizza itself was mediocre. The crust was bland and dry. I would possibly try one more time with eating in the restaurant but I'm not sure it will change the taste of the pizza. read more

We've been to Tony's four times and each time, the food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Their garlic knots are outstanding and the portions are more than generous. Tony's is great find! Awesome service from the staff. Dad and my wife got a pepperoni pizza and I got the House Calzone. $2 difference to go from small to large. It was 2-1/2 meals for my wife and I. Absolute garbage customer service herr! If you are the manager and see this please work on that. The pizza is okay ON A GOOD DAY. Not something to write home about. There have been.. about 2 or 3 times that they have messed up my order entirely and then refused to give me a refund!!!. The last time I called to place an order they flat out refused me because i wanted to pay with cash and not over the phone. To any one who has not tried this plsce yet do not give ut a shot. Two very rude men at the togo register the other day. I walked in and they were both on the phone so I patiently waited. When each of them got off the phone, they looked at me, no hi, no hello, nothing.. just turned around and started working on something else and the other one waited a few seconds and answered another phone call. After waiting for 5 minutes, a nice lady asked if i was being helped and I said no. The men there clearly need some kind of customer service training because that experience made me not want to go back there. Sucks because I'd like to call tony's my go to italian place but I refuse when the staff is rude. Side note, two guys were arguing with what seemed to be a new employee about how much cheese to put on an item. He berated the poor young man in front of all the customers in the to go area. Treats customers like trash and clearly treats the employees even worse. Maybe that's why the men had such a stank attitude. I called Tony's to order food for my mom's 80th birthday surprise party about a week or so in advance. Catrina was so sweet and helpful when placing the order and following up the day of to confirm everything. She was so pleasant. She also helped set up delivery which was a blessing for sure. The young man delivering the food was equally as nice and personable. For 22 people we ordered from the catering menu: 36 garlic knots, large Greek salad, large lasagna, large lasagna blanca and 2 tiramisus. Let me just say it was way more food than we needed but I wanted to make sure we didn't run out. That was so far from being an issue...so.much.food. The Greek salad and rolls are regular items for us and were amazing as usual. Both lasagnas were fantastic! The tiramisu is a must for dessert and it's truly the best there is. Just get it! Most of our group was visiting from the northeast and they all raved that this was some of the best Italian food they'd ever had. They are still talking about it the next day!! Tony's is an amazing Italian restaurant. The parking lot is kind of small, but it's worth it to get the great food. It is clean, inside and out. The servers are attentive and helpful. The menu has a large amount of items. The ambience is good...lots of people talking. There are about 20 tables. They have a huge amount of take out orders...so much that there's a separate door for that. I'll tell you, I've had pizza all around and in Eustis, this is the 2nd best pizza that I've had in my life. It might be tied for 1st place! The other place is more than a thousand miles away. My husband and I have been going to Tony's for 25+ years. We go once a week and eat the same thing every time. New owners took over within the last year. In the beginning they said nothing was going to change with the menu/products used. WELL...let me tell you that was a lie! First they changed the sub bread, then sub size and salad size then they went to "cheaper" sliced provolone cheese they use on their subs all the while raising prices a little at a time.The cheese is AWFUL! It has a strong sour taste. That being said we asked for them to put a different kind of cheese on our sub because that cheese they now use ruins the taste of the sub. Tonight when we went in for our weekly meal they decided because we asked for a different cheese on our sub they charged us an additional amount for our sub!! Regardless of the amount charged it is WRONG! Asking for extra cheese I can see being charged but just asking for a different cheese definitely not! I don't know if I will return there or not after all the years we have enjoyed eating there. I hope the new owners realize they will not retain customers doing things like this. By the way I spoke to the manager and she stated that one of the owners was there and they would not allow for the charge to be removed. Great way to treat faithful customers! read more

Visited Tony's Pizza & Subs for the first time this evening, I went with a good friends who lives in the area and has visited before. You can tell it's a mom and pop type of joint, which I love to try those. We walked in at about 4:30 (Saturday) and wasn't busy at all, we were greeted and Seated right away. We wanted to start with a cup of their lobster bisque, but they only do bowls, no cups, so we figured we'd split a bowl to kinda make a cup each, but did quite work out like that. The lobster bisque was served in two of their regular size bowls which weren't that big, and the amount of lobster bisque was very little. The soup was not as hot I'd like it to be but the flavor was definitely on point! I ordered The 44 Flat and it was everything I expected and more! The flatbread was toasted just right, and all the toppings fit in perfect together, so glad I chose it! The flat break was a good size too, My friend ordered 8" Jerk Chicken Sub, and that was also delicious! It was the perfect size and alll of the ingredients meshed so well! We also ordered a slice of their brownie cheesecake for dessert which was recommended by the server and goodness it was definitely worth all the calories that thing must has! It was such a perfect finish to our delicious meal! I don't live near Tony's pizza but I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. read more

Location does not look like much but WOW, food was great! I have the coconut chicken salad that was out of this world!. Highly recommend this salad!
