Stopped in with a friend for lunch. They have about 5 tables outside but they were all taken so we ate inside. It's small but cute. We each got a small salad. The server got confused twice on my friend's salad, but it did come out correctly. The salads were average tasting. We paid in cash and she kept the change (cents) for each of us. Financially that's not a big deal (56¢ and 36¢) but it's the principle. She didn't say she was out of change or anything. Seemed very odd and presumptuous. I'm not sure I'd return. I love supporting local small businesses and always try to buy from local family owned businesses when I can. I looked forward to trying this pizza even though the $30 price tag was a little daunting. Unfortunately this was the worst pizza I have ever had. And not just bad, but it was terrible. I would've preferred a frozen oven-bake. We ordered a large pepperoni with double pepperoni. The crust was hard and chewy indicating the dough was likely left to rise for too long or sat in the fridge too long. There were parts of the pizza that were not sauced, yet the edge near the crust had large clumps of sauce. We ordered double pepperoni, paid for double pepperoni, yet the pizza had the same amount of pepperoni as their Google photos. The "garlic" breadsticks did not have any garlic on them and only a smidge of Parmesan. Our kids who typically love breadsticks each took a bite and didn't want anymore. We tried to stay positive and eat the pizza, but even the kids remarked that it was terrible despite our best efforts to be positive. I hope this company consider revamping how they cook their pizza, or perhaps we just caught them on a bad day. read more

It was about 10" across, way over-cooked and dry, and thinner than a saltine cracker. A generic brand supermarket, frozen pizza would have been a vast improvement over this ultra thin trash. And get this...they charge $14 dollars for that disaster! First and last time I will EVER go to this place. Major rip-off, terrible quality. While attending first Fridays in Eustis, my family and I stopped here after I selected them in error from a yelp search (it was another pizza place with phenomenal reviews, not this one and I was so mad at myself). Pros: The waitress was nice and accommodating and the pizza was ok. Cons: The owner! We ordered a 20pc and a 10pc wing and requested that they be cooked crispy. Well when they weren't according to our paying customer preference, we shared it with the waitress who apologized and said she put it on the tix. She asked if we wanted to recook them which we declined because they already had sauce on them, so she insisted on send the owner out. And that's when it went further downhill...the owner comes out and we share our concern with her and she says...that is crispy and we literally get into a back and forth conversation with her telling us (the ones eating the food) that its crispy. So I kindly ask, if we come back what should we say if we want them crisper. She says "I wouldn't do it, I am not going to cook wings any crisper than that." Huh?! My husband and I look at each other and say but thats how we like them and she says oh well I cooked them two mins longer and will not go any longer . No acknowledgement of the food not being to our requested preference just arrogance and disregard for the customer. The waitress was so embarrassed by the owner/cook's behavior and kept apologized. The ower was later overheard saying I'm done cooking, the kitchen is closed don't take anymore orders and someone said we're not closed yet and she said she didn't care. We happened to stumble upon this spot as we were exploring the Christmas lights displayed around the town. The restaurant is like a hole in the wall type of place that's very dainty. We had a half meat lovers/half cheese pizza and an order of wings with medium sauce and ranch dressing. They were both great. The pizza was nice and toasty and the cheese they used was rich in flavor, it really owned up to its New York style name. The wings were fried to a perfect crisp and were fresh! The servers were friendly as well, my dad asked if they had any coffee or tea, which they didn't but the waitress offered to heat up some ice tea for him and he actually enjoyed it and warmed up. It was nice to see that she offered some type of solution for him. I would definitely come back and also recommend this place to others. read more

I am truly sorry to post a bad review. First, you have to know I am from Nassau County New York. NYC, including Brooklyn, Queens and Nassau counties are known for New York Style Pizza. Let me describe one for you. The resulting crust is indeed thin and firm so it can be neatly folded from edge to center point, but not wafer thin so it cracks upon folding. The edge must have raised at least 1/2 inch. It has to have browned blisters. We call that the bone. You eat the bones when you want a treat after eating the pie, or when you order ziti and your family orders pizza. It has to be that good. The pie surface is layered with pizza sauce, not pasta gravy (sauce). It is not a sweet sauce. Next comes the high quality cheese mix. (I'm not a chef, so don't ask what mix!) and oregano or other Italian seasoning. Then the toppings, enough toppings so they touch each other. Even if it is just pepperoni. A slight drizzle of high quality olive oil, including the edge. Not so much that you see puddles in the cooked pie or pepperoni. A high temperature pizza oven is definitely required. The crust bottom has a dusting of semolina flour. I guess it decreases likelihood of burning the crust. Or maybe it's residual from laying dough on semolina dusted marble preparation counter. The pie is done when blisters have formed and crust is browned. By then cheese is completely melted and toppings are baked. Anything else is imitation. The Great Pizza Company makes imitation New York style pizza. The pie edges are not soft, do not have blisters. The bottom is crusty hard like a stale cracker. (The ingredients are not stale). The pie itself is a very small pizza, just a little larger than personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. The pepperoni is 3 slices per piece. If you come to GPC expecting NYC Style pizza you will not get it. But you will pay more than NYC price! It may be gourmet, but not NYC style. Again, I am truly sorry it was not NYC Style pizza. Was disappointed. Will not return. read more

This is a fabulous older building and is spacious and comfy. The lady that waited on my party was phenomenal.Friendly and down to earth and was truly engaged in the customer experience. The pizza was thin crust/crust was good,but pizza itself,not so much. I will go back and try something else as I really did enjoy the atmosphere and the staff. I'm not so much looking to " replace" the pizza experience,but I would like to find a new pizza experience where I feel can be my pizza go to. Called to put in a order and lady who answered the phone sounded like she did not want to work today. When asked questions about what was on the white Bianca pizza she got irritated. Then she followed with you have to pay on the phone before you can pick up your order. Told her we had the money what did she think, we didn't!?? It would help if they renamed this "The Worst, Overpriced Pizza Made by the Most Miserable Woman" Company. That is exactly what you are getting when you are foolish enough to come here. Ultra-overpriced "pizza" that tastes like a big cracker with condiments on it. Prison pizza or school cafeteria pizza is probably better. Then you get the bill and think they made an error. Don't dare complain about anything as the Chinese lady that owns it will further insult you with her childish bad behavior. Any positive reviews here MUST be friends of the owner or fake. We no longer will return after consistently getting bad food and a horrible attitude by the owner. 3/6/17 early dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived though throughout our meal, a few more groups came to eat in and a couple folks arrived to pickup carryout. There is a half dozen booths, another half dozen 4-top tables and a bar to sit at. We sat in a booth. The seats were an little tired with some cracks and tears but the place is clean. Our waiter Dawson was very friendly. He asked if we had ever be there and we hadn't. He's words "you are in for a treat". Throughout the service he was attentive and kept our sodas refilled. We ordered a medium with pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza. I loved the crust. It's a thin, crispy crust. It's my style, for sure. The toppings were plentiful. I am not sure why their menu says us New York Style. It certainly is not the chewy, fold over, saucy pizza I've ever had in NYC. We will certainly return when we are in Eustis again. read more

We decided to try this place on a date night and we were pleasantly surprised! My husband and I love thin crust pizza, not a ton of sauce and creative twists (as long as they are good lol). There are some unique "owner created" variations on the menu and they are delicious! We also tried the pork egg rolls and they were very good. The waitress is always nice and the owner, Sandy, is a gem. She really likes to chat with her regulars and new customers as well. You can tell she cares about her food and her customers. The pizza wasn't quite hot enough for my liking As newbies to the area (3 mths) this place wins the prize for best area pizza! I appreciate the fresh ingredients firstly. You CAN taste the difference. We ordered a large sausage mushroom pizza. I also ordered two sandwiches to try... a meatball and the Italian sub. Both were very good! I can say in this pizza desert of Central Florida, this place will not disappoint. We had carry out, so I can't speak to the service, friendliness or much about dining in. I do plan to stop in for a meal and take advantage of the outdoor seating area. Very nice to enjoy for people watching. Stay tuned. , but no biggie ... a warm oven can fix that. Meatball sub was very good... meatballs taste like meat instead of fillers. The sub roll was soft and chewy but firm enough that it wasn't soggy. The first night we found ourselves here, it was while out wandering through downtown Eustis looking for something to do after having filled our bellies. We happened by and noticed a flyer on the door promoting "Primo" beer, imported from Hawaii. Hanging out for an hour or two, enjoying cold Primos and engaging with the local flavor, we weren't able to eat there but promised ourselves we'd give it a try after they talked up their crust (shipped from New York). Well, the first two times we tried they'd closed early. The first night we drove out and they had closed an hour and a half early on a Saturday night; the second night they'd closed an hour early. Small town economies let one get away with that more easily, granted, but it's still frustrating. Speaking of frustrating, it REALLY irritates me when any business owner talks down to their employees. Sandy, the owner, came off as being pretty mean. While she was in the building the employees scurried around with a stressed expression, afraid to stop any longer than several seconds to check on our drinks. We overheard her talking to one of her employees in a very condescending tone over something trivial. Boo for that! After she left for the night, everyone opened up and really started sharing their southern hospitality. Also to be noted, she came off as snobbish when I saw her out and about in Eustis. But, as far as the food is concerned, when we finally got to sample the pizza it WAS good; good enough that we had it twice. The crust is crisp with a nice crackly bite, though some of that is lost when it's delivered. The ingredients are good quality (maybe not the pepperoni), it's not greasy, the pies are pretty good size and the toppings are spaced well. It could use a bit more marinara, but otherwise it was an above-average pizza. I wanted to rate them higher because the other owner seemed like such a sweetheart and the employees were really nice once Sandy left. Plus, finding Primo was quite tasty and a rare find. However, in good conscience I can't overhype their wares when I'm not impressed by certain practices, like being rude to your customers or turning away business. I'd say it's really a 3 and a half stars. read more

The Pizza dough doesn't taste very fresh at all. Not to mention the owner claims in a printed article posted all over the restaurant that they haul the water in from New York to make said dough. I've been wrong before but I call bluff on the fresh dough with special water unless the water comes from the NYC subway. The dough has the texture and taste of frozen store bought pizza. Overall the pizza is way overpriced for the taste and quality. We ate the whole pie so it's not terrible, just way over stated and priced.
