Go to Tony's all the tima very good food and service When you do the take out you need to check your receipt! When a lady takes your order there is not a problem but when the gentleman does he adds $2.35 for a cup of tap water. When asked about it he stated thats normal, I replied no not really then he came back and offered me a dollar and said they moved the buttons! I really hate writing a downgraded review on this place because in the not-too-distant past it was an outstanding restaurant -- at least among the items I usually order. Today I ordered a cheese steak sub. The meat was dry and scorched, and was lacking in quantity. It also had a somewhat fishy aftertaste, and Tony's doesn't serve fish. I arrived at about 11:30am (just before prime lunch time), so the meat could well have been yesterday's frozen leftover grilled meat that was thawed and regrilled. As I walked in, I noticed a "cook wanted" sign posted next to the entry door. That usually doesn't bode well for the upcoming meal. I think there may be a management problem here. read more

I was rather disappointed after my first impression of this establishment. My boyfriend and I pick random places to order from when we're in a new area so we can get a feel for the restaurants without being too picky at first. We had ordered 2 different style pizzas and mozzarella sticks. We figured that a pizza place so far out in an rural part of the county might be good by simple word of mouth and the skill of the cooks. We placed our order by phone, which was refreshingly easy and quick. However, when we arrived, we pulled up to a sign in the window reading, "We are short-staffed. Please be patient with the staff that did show up. No one wants to work anymore." That automatically sent up red flags that they may just be cheapskates who don't pay their staff a decent wage, especially in today's climate. (People don't leave a good-paying job just because they have a discrepancy.) We walked in, and every last staff member was unmasked (during a pandemic). The blonde lady at the counter was friendly enough in an eccentric-aunt sort of way, which is always fine, and, quite frankly, reassuring, but the guy working with the food looked absolutely miserable and overworked. Anyway, we paid our bill, which came up to 40-something for 2 pizzas and mozzarella sticks (which is kind of insane for some dough, sauce, and cheese, unless it's to-die-for), and headed home. Now comes the hairy part. The mozzarella sticks were... I guess "rubbery" is the word." The flavor was good, but the texture was questionable. In all fairness, the 7-minute drive could have contributed to that, so I wouldn't hold that against them. BUT, the pizza was... lacking. First off, it was a very thick crust, which is fine for many people, and also fine for me if the toppings are equally as thick or satisfying, but this was anything but. The cheese was.... eh... adequate in terms of covering, but stopped short about an inch and a half from the edge of the crust and was quite bland. The toppings were also about the same. That's not to say that they didn't have their own flavor. The toppings basically held the dish together. The cheese was poor, the crust was... basically thick bread. All in all, they need to thin out the crust just a little, use a cheese that at least has a little salt in it, and bump the sauce, cheese, and toppings at least up to the point at the crust where the fingers can grab, and where you don't just have an unwarranted, flavorless breadstick. I would say, if you are adventurous and can follow a Pinterest recipe, try making your own pizza first. The compare them. That's a nice test to see if it's worth spending 40+ dollars on 2 pizzas and breadsticks, or if you can do better on your own. In this case, I'm siding with the Pinterest recipe. Sorry... read more

Pizza place the extra large is 18", good pizza, not the best, I prefer GAPC. The family went for dinner and the we had no trouble getting seated. The staff did a good job waiting on us and the pizza came out quick. The salad was good and the garlic knots were a hit at the table. read more

So... It's been a long time since I visited Tony's. Not for any particular reason but just hasn't been on my radar. My husband just randomly stopped there to eat a late lunch - it was about 2:30 so they weren't very busy. When we entered - I had a slight feeling that we were interrupting the staff who were all crammed in the kitchen area. But they sat us pretty quickly. We made our menu choices and waited about 15 minutes before the girl - who was not our waiter - came back to take our drink order. Our waiter finally brought the drinks and took our order. Of course we ordered garlic knots as the appetizer because they have always been amazing. TThis time we also ordered Alfredo sauce, not that their rolls need it but because the child wanted it. the rolls are taller than before but still yummy! The Alfredo - watery and no flavor! I won't order it again.... Even the waiter asked it was any good because it looked watery. Our son ordered the Mac-n-cheese and we decided to split a calzone. The Mac-n-cheese looked terrible - not what a child would want to eat and the cheese sauce again was watery! The calzone was really, really good. We very much enjoyed it! This place is what we have been looking for small business for a long time that they made the fresh homemade pizzas with your own options for toppings. Their thin pizza is delicious . My family love their the Garlic rolls. They do have old fashioned Root Beer in glass bottles like an old days. I never tried eat the Greek Salad until I tried their Greek salad with homemade ranch. Our first time eating here, the appetizer which is garlic rolls which we ordered 6 pieces for 4 of us and holy rolls! They are massive and so delicious and soft inside. This is a great place to eat! Great & friendly staffs and waitresses! Our server was Sarah and she knew signs and communicated with us great! The restaurant is cleaned and fresh. I always get their Philly steak and cheese Stromboli's which are awesome! I get one everytime I come here and always satisfied with a full tummy! The pizza are awesome as well as the lasagna dish!
