First of all this establishment is 5 STAR restaurant! The restaurant was completely full when we arrived so please read the low rated reviews with a grain of salt. This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to. We were greeted by a very cordial person who gave us a selection of seating and promptly found a table that we desired. Upon arrival she made us feel like family. Shortly after we were seated Jenna, our friendly server, greeted us. She was a fantastic server from the time we sat down in our booth until the time we departed. The family atmosphere in this restaurant made me feel that I was eating at Grandma's house! The menu offered a spectacular variety of Italian specialties that would satisfy most individuals. I selected the Shrimp Alfredo, with the side of garlic knots, and could not believe how much it exceeded my expectations! The sauce was very creamy and tasty while the shrimp tasted like they just came out of the water. The shrimp were firm and also very tasty. The garlic knots were outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant for you next Italian style meal! It is worth the trip because I guarantee(I do not normally add this to my reviews) that you not be disappointed! Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I had the linguini with clam sauce and my husband had spaghetti and meatballs. Disappointing Service Overshadowed Excellent Food My wife and I visited Luigi's Italian Restaurant in Eustis, FL on January 9, 2026, expecting a great experience based on the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, while the food itself was excellent, the service and management response left a very poor impression. I ordered the veal marsala, and while it was well prepared, the portion was extremely small -- the veal medallion was roughly the size of a small playing card. When I politely mentioned this to our server, her demeanor changed immediately. She acknowledged the comment but essentially disengaged from our table afterward. I asked to speak with a manager, who explained that portions are determined by weight. After some discussion, he asked what resolution I was looking for, and I suggested that an additional piece of veal would be appropriate. He abruptly said that was not possible. A few minutes later, he returned and offered a 10% discount on the meals, which amounted to about $5 total. Frankly, I would have preferred a reasonable portion over a small discount. To add to the experience, I paid with an American Express card, and the server was unfamiliar with the data entry process and entered the CCV incorrectly. When she returned to the table, she loudly announced that my card had been declined. It was not declined -- I showed her how to enter the correct CCV, and the charge went through without issue. The food was genuinely very good, but between the abrupt change in service, the lack of a reasonable solution from management, and the embarrassing handling of the payment, we will not be returning. Four of us went to lunch and it was in the first week they were open. They were very busy but we got a table immediately and a very pleasant smiling waitstaff was there to take our order. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed every part of the meal. Speed and quality and quantity were all there and we walked away stuffed with smiles on our face. read more

I called due to the pizza is charcoal burnt on the bottom, the lady said we asked for extra crispy and that's how extra crispy is and to next time not ask for extra crispy if you don't want charcoal, never in my life have I seen any pizza place burn the pizza and use the customer asked for extra crispy in order to not feel they need to right their wrong, I typically love this place but this just changed my opinion. read more

Great service at lunch. The white pizza was piping hot and delicious. The eggplant parm was good, and a generous portion for a lunch special. The breadsticks were very hot, but a little bland (more salt/garlic, please). We will definitely return to try more things on the menu. read more

The food was very good. I forgot to ask for my pasta al dente, so it a slightly overcooked. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that they brought my soup out and as I started to eat it, my dinner plate arrived. We tried Luigi's a couple of weeks ago, and we were NOT disappointed! I have to say that this is the best pizza that I've had in this area. Then, they messed up my $80 take out order, despite me repeating the instructions. When I called in to get it corrected, the manager talked down and got an attitude as if it was my fault they messed up the order. They refused to change it out at first even. Worst service EVER!! There was 8 of us for a birthday. Everyone got their food but my mom's friends food was not correct. So they said they'd correct it. The server kept coming back and saying it would only be a few more minutes. Well, we were all pretty much done eating by the time she finally got her food so she asked for a to go box. She then received the bill and her meal was not comped or at least 50% taken off. She asked the server about it and she said she'd talk to the manager. She then came back and said 15% was as good as they could do or they would just comp the meal. My mom's friend politely asked them to just comp the meal. The server then took her food away. I've never in my life seen that. She wasn't looking for a free meal. Just at least 50% off. My best friend is a manager at a restaurant and I spoke with her about it. She said there was no way she'd ever allow that and there would be repercussions for the server if they took the food away. I think everything was handled poorly. My mom's friend didn't even get to eat dinner. We will most certainly never return. read more
