    Curry Paneer Pizza

Just wanted to update the review as there was paneer in the curry, just not enough or that visible. The paneer on the pizza was really small and not enough. But because they got the curry right still, decided I can bump the review up.

Hmmm.... This is probably a Me Problem, but I guess I keep coming back to "Why?" I suspect this could be an excellent Indian restaurant, but it's almost like it takes on too much. Tacos and Pizza with traditional Indian meats and Naan pizza? Kinda seems silly to be honest. It's three storefronts, but one merged interior. Why? The Indian food was excellent. My husband had one of the non-curry combo plates, I believe it was called the monster. Everything about it was delicious. I had one of the pizza twists. It was good--really really different. Everyone who works here is lovely and so incredibly helpful. I was rather lost when I came in and less than enthusiastic initially, but they took us through the entire menu and answered all of our questions. There was definitely some confusion in orders, hours and a few others, but they are just opening so that's understandable. Here's the TL;DR: unless you are really adventurous, Come here for the Indian food. It's excellent. I just can't dig the twist thing. They're trying to do too much. Pizza, pasta, tacos, shakes, coffee, curry... And a lot of it really seriously mixed together. It's a lot! And a little strange. I'll be back...for a curry plate!

    Oily flavorless naan.

Don't let the strip mall location fool you--the experience inside is phenomenal. The Food: My Chicken Parmesan was perfectly crispy, and the Pea Agnolotti was savory and luxurious. We started with the Caesar salad (plenty for two!) and finished with desserts that were absolutely off the charts. The wine list is also out of this world. The Service: Top-tier. They even shelved our to-go boxes away from the table so we could enjoy dessert without the clutter. Even my husband, who can be difficult to please, was impressed by everything--right down to the heavy, high-quality flatware. It was filling up fast for a Monday night, and it's easy to see why. We are thrilled with this find and will definitely be back!

Caesar Salad - lots of lettuce, delicious dressing although very little of it, so the salad was very dry. Not one flake of Parmesan on the salad or offered on the side. Very disappointing. Looking at the pictures other patrons posted of their salads, mine was definitely NOT like theirs! Hardly any dressing and no cheese on mine! I also had ordered the agnolotti. The little raviolis were very strange. Some were only partially cooked, many had edges that were hard and inedible. $34 for this? Husband ordered the pomodoro. The pasta had been boiled to death - it was so mushy it was inedible. We both tossed out our entrees after a few bites. We were extremely disappointed, needless to say. This was my after-surgery treat and it was terrible. Out of curiosity, I perused some of the reviews, and the bad ones scared me. The owner's responses were condescending. Two parties stated in their (separate) reviews that they got food poisoning. He went so far as to claim these poor people DID NOT get food poisoning from his restaurant because food poisoning "takes 12 hours or more to set in". That is QUITE UNTRUE! Now we didn't get food poisoning, but our experience along with the owner's outright false statement is enough for us. We shan't be returning. I am also posting the Cleveland Clinic's AND the CDC's SCIENTIFIC FACTS about the time period within which food poisoning can take effect.

He finally arrived and we sat there for another 20 minutes until the waitress decided to come back and take our order. She wasn't the most friendliest, seemed to be a bit irritated and you could hear her nect to the bar talking w the other waiters complaining about customers. Our food took forever to arrive and I could see other people waiting for service also and water which was taking forever. The food finally arrived. The appetizerbruschetta was good, and husband liked his calzone, everything else was mediocre. While we were sitting there still eating, the waitress had the audacity to come by our table and didn't just put down but almost a flung, slid boxes in the middle our table- we all looked at one another, like? That was a turn off, because it wasn't even close to closing time, we were still eating after waiting for the food. So we just left, my fiancé thought that was extremely rude of her, didn't even ask us if we wanted the boxes, just came over and tossed them onto the table. Rude.. I also had asked her for a fork earlier and she reponded with a disgusted face and a (what?) I used the restroom also which wasn't the cleanest. Manager contacted me, very professional and was obviously not content about the outcome and review. She took this seriously, and wanted to get down to the bottom of this and rectify the issue at hand. That made me feel more at ease.

To start, we had the spicy cauliflower with pesto rosa and pumpkin seeds, which was a great dish to kick things off. The staff mentioned there are a few staples on the menu, but a lot of it rotates regularly, which is always nice to see. They also have a really solid wine selection. For pastas, we tried the lasagna du jour with pork sugo and the mafaldine with beef cheek and mushrooms. Both were very good, but the mafaldine was the standout for me. Really rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of the food, the service was excellent. We were checked on regularly, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to be there, which always makes a difference. Really enjoyed the experience overall and this will definitely make its way into our neighborhood rotation not only for dine in but for grab and go items as well.

The meatballs are thick which I like, but since theres a lack of sauce and the meatballs are a little more bland, the flavor gets lost. It was a good, but there was not a specific flavor that stood out. I would give it a 8/10. For me, I need something to pop if there aren't a lot of ingredients. However, it was still good and my girlfriend actually disagrees with me. She said she likes how it's classic, not overwhelming with flavor. We agreed how we would not get the garlic bread. Nothing special, the bread was good but definitely needed some marinara sauce on the side. Anyway, I say come over and try it out!
