Our server came to take our order. He didn't introduce himself and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided on the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken sandwich and catfish po' boy. When the po' boy came out, we thought it was burnt! We didn't know the catfish will be blackened by default. We thought it will be fried since it is a po' boy. The options can be blackened or fried based on the menu online. We were not given those options by our server. They brought out the food but didnt provide utensils until minutes later. Fried green tomatoes: It was good. Fried perfectly. The dressing that was tossed with the side salad was super salty. Catfish po' boy: Fish was tender but super salty as well. Fried chicken sandwich: Pretty good sandwich. Chicken was huge. The fries was so soggy, not crispy at all. Also very greasy. We were a bit disappointed as we drove out of our way to try this place. We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. EVERY OTHER pizza place is the same...cheese,dough,a couple toppings and the taste is the same after two slices, no new flavors. This place has changed pizza forever! My spouse and I tried it for the first time last evening and we're glad we did. We had the deep pan style crust spicy lamb and ordered a second for the kids, a buttered chicken pizza. The flavors between the two pizzas were very different and equally delicious. The crust was exquisite underneath the mix of various flavors of the toppings which included onions, cilantro, cheese (paneer), meat, small pineapple dices and different spices. I swear, I was tasting different flavors between each bite... literally. Next, I want to try the chicken tikka masala, the tandoori chicken, and eventually the curry pizza. I don't like garlic so personally I'm staying away from the garlic named dishes but if you like garlic, I'm sure you'll love those items. EAT HERE TODAY! It pretty much sucked and was extremely disappointing. Not only that but VERY over priced Second time I ordered a pizza, it was just a regular large THIN CRUST 3 topping pizza which I repeated several times so they wouldn't get it wrong and they still got it wrong which they charged me for each item as a build your own pizza. ????? It's been a while, about a month or so since I got food here but I decided to give them a second chance. So I called back to rectify this and the pizza situation and someone answered the phone so I asked who I was speaking to but they refused to give a name or even acknowledge me. After asking several times who I was speaking they still refused to say anything Kinda like they knew who I was and realized they screwed everything up with my order. I recommend that NO ONE patronize this place because they will absolutely screw up the orders and over charge you as well as being TOTALLY RUDE OVER THE PHONE!! I gave one star because that is the lowest score it would let me score and I couldn't score it any lower. The woman owner was really rude as well and actually told me to stop talking when I tried to explain to her what the problem was with the pizza and the salad etc. They reluctantly refunded $5 for the lack of any dressing for the Ceasar salad but nothing for the GIANT SCREW UP on the pizza. I predict that this business won't BE in business for long. Hopefully not long at all so a righteous new owner can come in and provide a better business service because these guys don't have a clue about customer service or preparing food! Do NOT eat here or go here unless you like being treated really bad like the crap food they provide here. Never again!!
