Great pizza for those who like Indian food! Friendly service and reasonably priced. I try to stop here anytime I'm hungry and in the area!

Try it! Twist is a great place for unique flavor combinations on your pizza. The Vegetable curry pizza genuinely surprised me with the curry essence and tons of toppings that was not overwhelming. My favorite was the tandoori chicken pizza that had a little kick from fresh grated ginger. This also had great flavor without being too much. Twist stays true to what we like about pizza and isn't trying to be Indian food. It's served nice and hot with pretty quick service. I have the palak paneer pizza on my mind for next time. I would've like the pizzas to be saucier but don't mind it. read more

I always crave their Achari Paneer Pizza. I haven't found good desi pizza anywhere else, whether in Brampton or New York--nothing beats Pizza Twist. I try to get it whenever I'm in the area. They've truly perfected the balance of flavors for desi pizza. Don't look anywhere else; this is the place to get your desi pizza fix. read more

We ordered Chicken Tikka Pizza last night almost around closing and they accepted the order though late. The Pizza was really delicious.

We ordered two deep dish pizza for takeout. One is paneer tikka pizza and other is aloo chaat pizza. Both are flavorful and tasty. Paneer tikka pizza tastes same as eating paneer tikka with naan and same applies to aloo chaat. They delivered fusion taste to the point of original dishes of both pizza. The reason for three star is that they didn't make it deep dish pizza as Chicago style deep dish. It didn't had second layer with cheese as Chicago style deep dish pizza carries. The order isn't promised and felt that we are being cheated in the name of Chicago style deep dish pizza. read more

It was not as expected- we were just looking for a local pizza place after a trade show and were not looking for an Indian food fusion. It was our fault but nobody else sat there to eat the whole time we were there. The pasta was supposed to have just butter but somehow it had spices in it. read more

Update: Tried a bunch of different things from this place after my initial review and I'm happy to report that it's always been a pleasant experience. This review is particularly about a couple of things I tried recently - paneer pakora, boneless chicken wings and butter chicken pizza. The pizza was jaw dropping with rich flavors but, the appetizers weren't up to the mark. The paneer pakora had a fancy stuffing between the paneer and the entire thing is fried in some flour coating which was decent, the wings were dry and lacked a little flavor. If I might suggest, a good chutney to go with the pakora would just do the trick. The overall experience still remains fantastic though. read more

Pizza Twist - a view of a restaurant counter - Pizza Near Me - Edison, New Jersey

We've been wanting to come here for a while and finally got a chance one night. The restaurant is small but comfortable, with one long continuous booth running along one wall and multiple booths running along the other. Round glass lamps dangle over the tables with the long continuous booth, while cylindrical lampshades hang over the tables with individual booths. Pizza paddles with pictures on them adorn all of the walls as well. We ordered with the cashier and they'd bring our order over when it was ready. We had the Tandoori pizza twist and masala fries. We liked this place because it was something different. The tandoori pizza was ok but we really liked the masala fries a lot. It was nice and spicy. Daughter thought it was delicious and would definitely try this place again. Service was fast but hardly any interactions. Will return when in the area to try other items on the menu. read more

Damn, this place is above and beyond. I tried from couple of other Indian pizza restaurants but this was the bestest I previously tried Achari Paneer Pizza and that was way better than Paneer Tikka Masala, the only thing I didn't like was garlic pieces which was coming in month and the whole taste of pizza is changed The dough is fresh and soft all the vegetables were also fresh. A must try restaurant read more

Best vegan pizza I've ever had!!!! We made our own pizza and it was so delicious! They use daiya cheese which is the best vegan cheese in my opinion, and you can choose any toppings you want. The creamy garlic sauce was super yummy, and the cashier was so knowledgeable and helpful about their menu! Loved this place so much, I would recommend for both non vegans and vegans! read more

Indian Pizzas are a rare find and I would drive all the way to get me some. However, Chicago's Pizza lacks the burst of flavor that would keep you wanting for more. We ordered the butter chicken pizza and tandoori Paneer, which were great pizzas but not lacked a punch which Indian curries can deliver. Considering the fact that NY has no Indian Pizzas, this is still worth the travel. read more

The audacity to charge $17 for a pizza the size of my hand... that is just RIDICULOUS!!! I am only giving one star because the prices are so high!! The food is mediocre ! If it was gourmet pizza I'd pay the $17 plus tax for a SMALL pizza. *HOWEVER they offer vegan options so I cannot complain about that. If you want vegan pizza though I'd just go to Oakwood Pizza in edison. You get a full regular sized LARGE pizza for $20. And both locations use daiya cheese (allegedly). If you get your food delivered from pizza twist they charge $6 delivery fee... just don't waste your time read more

Came with my children and husband to eat in. The restaurant was empty and yet it still took forever for two pizzas, pasta and wings. When we received our pizza it was the wrong one, only noticed because i picked up a slice and was about to eat it when it was obvious the crust was not cauliflower. When they gave us the correct one they took the other one. Hopefully not to sell it back as I had already touched it. I asked for ketchup for my toddler and the server told us it was an extra $0.75. I've never heard such a thing when dining in (or even at take out spots). Not food related: this place seriously needs to clean their bathroom. It is beyond disgusting and shows they don't ever clean their bathrooms. Imagine gas station bathroom (but worse). Servers or staff are not even by the register at all during 98% of the time. Food wasn't bad but overall experience is a no, which means we won't be coming back. read more

So far not impressed, somewhat clean, ordered a 10" personal pie and 6 piece wings, $30. I'm assuming freshly made because they said a 20 minute wait for food. Boneless wings were dried out and terrible. Small pepperoni pizza was greasy , and not very good. Will not be coming back read more

PANEER TIKKA MASALA PIZZZA! Do I even need to say more? This has become my new guilty pleasure ( thanks a lot Chicago's pizza... it's not like I'm trying to eat healthier or anything). But, the way I like to justify it is that they do offer cauliflower crust or gluten free crust for all of their pizzas if you want to switch it up !! Def makes you feel less guilty when the base of the pizza is healthier right? I really haven't tried anything else from here because once I tried this I was hooked. But they do make a lot of different pizza styles with a twist along with traditional pizza. They also serve wings, salads, pasta and more. Their menu is on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it. I also usually order the pizza to go from here, but the inside looks very clean and spacious enough for a pizza joint! To all of my fellow pizza lovers - this place won't disappoint! read more

Delicious. Flavorful. Innovative. Nothing like fusion cuisine that is well executed. Everything just melds together perfectly.. I hope that I'm not simplifying by calling this an Italian-Indian fusion... but that is what I call butter chicken pasta (which was unbelievable!!)... a little bit of spice kick, perfectly coated in delicious sauce.. onions and very tender chicken. YUM! And chicken tikka masala Chicago style pizza.. yup.. it's deep dish. I'm thinking like a Pizzeria Uno with Indian flavors.. I don't know what else to say, except that I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this option when ordering lunch for a doctor's office of mine. The doctor raved about his experience, btw. So thanks for the extra props with my customer. Can't wait to take the family.. very soon! read more

Forgot to take a picture of the pizza- we ate it so fast in the car because it smelled delicious! we got the spicy lamb kebab pizza twist with spicy chicken on top. Crunchiness of the crust was perfect and the tandoori sauce on the sauce was amazinggg, it was a perfect combination. And it was actually spicy, must have been the jalapeño peppers. Just a note though, that you can pick your spicy level if need be. I'm really excited to try all the other flavors of pizza they have, so cool that they have all Indian pizzas and it's more than just the base Indian curries- they have lamb kebab and achari chicken in addition to the more common butter, tandoori chicken pizzas. I love the fusion! This place does pizza a lot better than it does it's wings- I was excited to try these Indian flavors on wings, we got tandoori and tikka masala but it didn't work that well. The wings were a little soggy and the flavor wasn't too exciting, not how I expected it to taste. Would recommend sticking to pizza! read more

I have ordered from here twice. The first time me and my girlfriend tried to order delivery - which requires a $20 minimum and a $5 delivery fee. Also. We are 3 blocks away. That being said our first order - they had a guy who was rude and unprofessional - which actually hung up on my girlfriend while trying to order. So. Instead of delivery I drove there and spoke with the manager; who compensated us with a free plain pizza (our original order) due to the inconvenience of having to drive there. The manager said that the person who took our order was a "temp"; apologized- and provided the complimentary pizza. Now. Fast forward 3 weeks. We again attempt to order - knowing that the "minimum" charge is $20 (absurd for a pizza place) and doesn't include the $5 delivery fee. So. We order a pizza; half plain half broccoli and tomatoes, however - still under the absurd $20 minimum for delivery. So. We also order a Caesar salad; which is $8! Just to meet the minimum for delivery. Ok. We ordered at 7pm-ish.... and an hour later - no delivery. Mind you, this place is 3 blocks away from the apartment. So. We call - they give excuses about how they need to wait for the delivery driver to come back and that our order is ready and sitting on a "hot plate". Great. Our pizza is now NOT fresh. Thanks. We call again to complain - and the Sunday manager decides to deliver it to us herself. Kudos. I speak with her while she is delivering and she claims it's because of the "CALL CENTER" (wtf?) and that that is why it took so long for the order. I don't know about you, but - I've NEVER EVER experienced any pizza place that needed a call center for deliveries on a Sunday. Seriously?? We tip, and think all is good. Wrong. Pizza is cold. Cheese is not melted and to top it off, the Caesar salad - is just a bunch of lettuce with random cheese (that would never be on a caeser salad) - along with ABSOLUTELY NO DRESSING. So, now - I drive to "Chicago's Pizza with a Twist" and show them how absolutely and without doubt that their entire company is completely mismanaged. My advice? DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They overcharge, have absurd minimums for delivery and cannot even get a simple SIMPLE Caesar Salad correct. I give this place 3 months before they are out of business due to the unprofessional and incompetent employees working for them. The only "twist" in this "Chicago's pizza" is that they will overcharge for delivery with absurd minimums and delivery fees, have you wait for over an hour on a slow night, claim it's because of either the "call center" or they decide to blame their incompetence on the poor the delivery driver. Honestly, stick with a local Italian restaurant for pizza, because this "chain" - is nothing but an overpriced sham. I'd rather order from Dominos, and get free delivery than pay the absurd minimum and delivery fee for sub par pizza and hope they know how to compile a standard Caesar salad, without messing it up. STAY AWAY read more

Delicious pizza. We have been here twice in the last week, and both times, the pizzas were outstanding. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, as well as the Butter Chicken Pizza. Requesting a bit of extra sauce on the Butter Chicken Pizza really brings out the flavors in it. The pizza tasted freshly prepared with precision, as well as care. The ingredients also tasted fresh. Pizza Twist - Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Edison, New Jersey

My experience with the person behind the kitchen counter is the reason why I felt obligated to tell everyone to please don't go waste your money and time at this business. The counter was closed and he rudely asked me to come the kitchen window. Wanted to ask him about an item on his menu and he's like we don't sell by the slice. I wasn't there to buy a slice, before I even get a chance to answer him? He turns to whoever was in the back and said a nasty comment about me in his native language. He thought that I didn't understand his language and the slurs he used regarding me being there. One of my best friends taught me the language. That's why as soon as you said what you said I left your store. It was clear from your racism towards me that I didn't belong there. As I'm waking out he tossed another slur in my direction. I'm a big believer of go where you're welcomed and if you're not welcomed then leave. I hope the owner of the business reads this and see what type of person he has working at this location. read more

Heard a lot about this place and decided finally came in and try. The wait is very long. We called in and on the phone the service was the best but when we came in they were very nice. The pizza is self is varied, they have all types of Indian pizza. The pizza is self was fresh, well decorated with vegetables. We ordered the paneer tikka and chicken tikka. The paneer tikka was great. The actual pieces were fresh and moist and the crust was great. The chicken tikka was also great also spicer. Both of them had a cream-based sauce as the base sauce. I personally thought it was a bit too creamy but the family thought the sauce was perfect. The place itself is nice and clean when you order here you can also buy your own large Coke bottles and they will give you glasses for them. The presentation is nice as well. This is also the only pizzeria I've seen where they give ranch for free and not just a small amount but for everyone. read more

Overall pizza was good, however highly overpriced for a what seemed to be a premade frozen pizza that was to small for the cost. Smaller than a normal personal pie from a regular pizza shop. It was okay to try once. As to service, there was little to none, but not unpleasant yet not welcoming either. Pretty good vegan pizza! We got the special of two pies. Both had pineapple. One had peppers and the other red onions. They were a bit scarce with the toppings, but what I like about this place is the vegan pizza isn't salty and doesn't have that very vegan cheese taste. It's just a smooth good slice that just tastes like pizza. I wish they had some veggie meat options to add and we even considered getting our own from Whole Foods and adding on but the vegetable slices will do. read more

We really like their tandoori chicken pizza and paneer tikka pizza. Never dined in at the place it was always a takeout. Would definitely recommend this place. Ordered Indian garlic chicken. To summarize in a word, disappointed. Indian garlic chicken deep dish sounds so good on paper. But the pizza tasted neither Indian nor deep dish.
