The restaurant is small but comfortable, with one long continuous booth running along one wall and multiple booths running along the other. Round glass lamps dangle over the tables with the long continuous booth, while cylindrical lampshades hang over the tables with individual booths. Pizza paddles with pictures on them adorn all of the walls as well. We ordered with the cashier and they'd bring our order over when it was ready. We had the Tandoori pizza twist and masala fries. We liked this place because it was something different. The tandoori pizza was ok but we really liked the masala fries a lot. It was nice and spicy. Came with my children and husband to eat in. The restaurant was empty and yet it still took forever for two pizzas, pasta and wings. When we received our pizza it was the wrong one, only noticed because i picked up a slice and was about to eat it when it was obvious the crust was not cauliflower. When they gave us the correct one they took the other one. Hopefully not to sell it back as I had already touched it. I asked for ketchup for my toddler and the server told us it was an extra $0.75. I've never heard such a thing when dining in (or even at take out spots). Not food related: this place seriously needs to clean their bathroom. It is beyond disgusting and shows they don't ever clean their bathrooms. Imagine gas station bathroom (but worse). Servers or staff are not even by the register at all during 98% of the time. Food wasn't bad but overall experience is a no, which means we won't be coming back. read more

Update: Tried a bunch of different things from this place after my initial review and I'm happy to report that it's always been a pleasant experience. This review is particularly about a couple of things I tried recently - paneer pakora, boneless chicken wings and butter chicken pizza. The pizza was jaw dropping with rich flavors but, the appetizers weren't up to the mark. The paneer pakora had a fancy stuffing between the paneer and the entire thing is fried in some flour coating which was decent, the wings were dry and lacked a little flavor. If I might suggest, a good chutney to go with the pakora would just do the trick. The overall experience still remains fantastic though. read more

My experience with the person behind the kitchen counter is the reason why I felt obligated to tell everyone to please don't go waste your money and time at this business. The counter was closed and he rudely asked me to come the kitchen window. Wanted to ask him about an item on his menu and he's like we don't sell by the slice. I wasn't there to buy a slice, before I even get a chance to answer him? He turns to whoever was in the back and said a nasty comment about me in his native language. He thought that I didn't understand his language and the slurs he used regarding me being there. One of my best friends taught me the language. That's why as soon as you said what you said I left your store. It was clear from your racism towards me that I didn't belong there. As I'm waking out he tossed another slur in my direction. I'm a big believer of go where you're welcomed and if you're not welcomed then leave. But, the way I like to justify it is that they do offer cauliflower crust or gluten free crust for all of their pizzas if you want to switch it up !! Forgot to take a picture of the pizza- we ate it so fast in the car because it smelled delicious! we got the spicy lamb kebab pizza twist with spicy chicken on top. Crunchiness of the crust was perfect and the tandoori sauce on the sauce was amazinggg, it was a perfect combination. And it was actually spicy, must have been the jalapeño peppers. Just a note though, that you can pick your spicy level if need be. I'm really excited to try all the other flavors of pizza they have, so cool that they have all Indian pizzas and it's more than just the base Indian curries- they have lamb kebab and achari chicken in addition to the more common butter, tandoori chicken pizzas. I love the fusion! This place does pizza a lot better than it does it's wings- I was excited to try these Indian flavors on wings, we got tandoori and tikka masala but it didn't work that well. I have ordered from here twice. The first time me and my girlfriend tried to order delivery - which requires a $20 minimum and a $5 delivery fee. Also. We are 3 blocks away. That being said our first order - they had a guy who was rude and unprofessional - which actually hung up on my girlfriend while trying to order. So. Instead of delivery I drove there and spoke with the manager; who compensated us with a free plain pizza (our original order) due to the inconvenience of having to drive there. The manager said that the person who took our order was a "temp"; apologized- and provided the complimentary pizza. Now. Fast forward 3 weeks. We again attempt to order - knowing that the "minimum" charge is $20 (absurd for a pizza place) and doesn't include the $5 delivery fee. So. We order a pizza; half plain half broccoli and tomatoes, however - still under the absurd $20 minimum for delivery. So. We also order a Caesar salad; which is $8! Just to meet the minimum for delivery. Ok. We ordered at 7pm-ish.... and an hour later - no delivery. Mind you, this place is 3 blocks away from the apartment. So. We call - they give excuses about how they need to wait for the delivery driver to come back and that our order is ready and sitting on a "hot plate". Great. Our pizza is now NOT fresh. Thanks. We call again to complain - and the Sunday manager decides to deliver it to us herself. Kudos. I speak with her while she is delivering and she claims it's because of the "CALL CENTER" (wtf?) and that that is why it took so long for the order. I don't know about you, but - I've NEVER EVER experienced any pizza place that needed a call center for deliveries on a Sunday. Seriously?? We tip, and think all is good. Wrong. Pizza is cold. Cheese is not melted and to top it off, the Caesar salad - is just a bunch of lettuce with random cheese (that would never be on a caeser salad) - along with ABSOLUTELY NO DRESSING. So, now - I drive to "Chicago's Pizza with a Twist" and show them how absolutely and without doubt that their entire company is completely mismanaged. My advice? DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. They overcharge, have absurd minimums for delivery and cannot even get a simple SIMPLE Caesar Salad correct. I give this place 3 months before they are out of business due to the unprofessional and incompetent employees working for them. The only "twist" in this "Chicago's pizza" is that they will overcharge for delivery with absurd minimums and delivery fees, have you wait for over an hour on a slow night, claim it's because of either the "call center" or they decide to blame their incompetence on the poor the delivery driver. Honestly, stick with a local Italian restaurant for pizza, because this "chain" - is nothing but an overpriced sham. I'd rather order from Dominos, and get free delivery than pay the absurd minimum and delivery fee for sub par pizza and hope they know how to compile a standard Caesar salad, without messing it up. The paneer tikka was great. The actual pieces were fresh and moist and the crust was great. The chicken tikka was also great also spicer. Both of them had a cream-based sauce as the base sauce. I personally thought it was a bit too creamy but the family thought the sauce was perfect. The place itself is nice and clean when you order here you can also buy your own large Coke bottles and they will give you glasses for them. The presentation is nice as well. Pretty good vegan pizza! We got the special of two pies. Both had pineapple. One had peppers and the other red onions. They were a bit scarce with the toppings, but what I like about this place is the vegan pizza isn't salty and doesn't have that very vegan cheese taste.
