My kids like the pizza here. Ordered dinner today. Had a grub hub credit so went ahead and claimed it here. Pizza kind of reminds me of when I was 16 years old working at Pizza Man I'm Compton. Except it seems to be lacking flavor. Not sure what it is. Maybe they skimp on sauce or something. Can't figure it out. Ordered an XL PEPPERONI AND SAUSAGE. And snd 8 piece fried chicken which is supposed to come with potato wedges and salad. They told me they had ran out of chicken and they could replace the Chicken with strips. The lady said the strips were big about the same amount. Well 2 pieces were a little bigger but the rest were like the size of my thumb. LOL It's an OK spot. It's decent. The customer service has a good. 1 star more for customer service. Pizza is average. Lacking flavor. Maybe more sauce. Something. Chicken strips also average. Potato wedges also average. Salad was good. We mean how can you mess that up. Overall, would try more items and give them a few more shots at it.

I'm so disappointed. It came and got me a pastrami pizza, and this is what I got. Where is the pastrami. I got a whole lot of mustard, but where is the pastrami. I was so mad, and I told the guy, and he said that's how we make it. Never again. Pizza company for sure next time.

Pizza Time is such a hidden gem! It's a family owned business that really brings their 100! It's the perfect place to grab some pizza and a beer. They have 805 and several other beers on tap. You can even order a Michelada. The pizza is made fresh and is full of flavor! They also have several other items such as calzones, chicken wings, potato wedges, spaghetti, and fresh breadsticks on their menu. Since the restaurant is family owned, they know how to run a family friendly restaurant. You can bring your kids and they're going to love it. The inside of the restaurant is super clean and has the coolest Insta-friendly wallpaper all around the store. If you're looking for a cute local pizza spot, this is it!

The calzone was soft stuffed with ricotta y mozzarella cheese that melts in you mouth. The flavorful pepperoni and crunch of jalapeño spice is a great combo. $6.99 and I only ate half and took the other half for later. This is a family owned restaurant and their son Eric is a beautiful pianist who plays all the classics while you eat. When back in the area I will be stopping by for my Calzone lunch special.

Came across this pizza restaurant driving home and decided to give it a shot. So I hopped on the slice app and put my order in. I was impressed by the quality of their food. The pizza and cheese bread were cooked to perfection. The pizza with a crispy crust and delicious toppings and the cheese bread with the excellent cheese pull were great. The only downside were the wings(not pictured)that I ordered didnt have any buffalo sauce on them but the quality of the food made up for it. The service was great. My food arrived before the scheduled delivery time. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a tasty and enjoyable pizza dining experience.

Ok, late post. Last weekend we had Pizza Time for dinner. New owners (a super friendly family), same great food. They took it over a year ago. Ordered 2 Family meals. Comes with 2 topping large pizza, fried chicken & potato wedges or spaghetti & lasagna, salad, and bread sticks. A LOT OF FOOD. Help our small local businesses.

On my way out today, I saw a coupon in my door. 6.99 large pizza... not bad. Husband and I decided to go with the 3 topping large with a free spaghetti dinner. Service wasn't the greatest, but they got our order right in the end. And the price was good. They also offer free delivery, but charge a 50 cent fee for debit/credit cards. Pizza runs a bit on the small side, but is tasty, especially considering the price. Spaghetti dinner comes with breadsticks, which were not too bad. Two of us ate and we probably have enough leftovers for a second meal. Not THE best pizza ever, but the meal was pretty darn good for $15 read more

I would have rated this place with 5 stars if I didn't feel like THE EMPLOYEES WERE RIPPING ME OFF! I love the food here but BUYER BEWARE.. I SAW A TREND. PRICES ARE ALWAYS CHANGING! I felt like the employees were over charging and pocketing the extra. I thought it was just me.. but I asked my friends at work and they said the same thing. U cant trust those guys. Take this review with a grain of salt, as it represents only one particular visit. In an effort for full disclosure, I have done sparse business with this restaurant in the past. I called to place my order. No answer. No biggie. Sometimes it's busy in the joint, or maybe the gal/gal just went to the John. Called again about 15 minutes later. After about the fifth ring, someone picks up. A rather disinterested male voice says "Pizza Time". I told him I wanted to place a pick up order and he said "What do you want?" I placed the order, and after getting my information he said "20 minutes". The tone of his voice certainly made is seem like I needed to be there in 20 minutes, or else. Sure enough, I show up in 16 minutes. It's not ready. No biggie. I needed some beer from the neighboring liquor store anyway. I return, and then proceed to wait for another 10 minutes. Making the actual preparation time closer to half an hour instead of "20 minutes". It must be said, that the meal was pretty tasty. It was also at a fair price for the portions. The 2 star rating is more of a customer service issue, than a quality of food issue. They even have a "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" sign. Not exactly a warm welcome. People of common sense already know they don't have a right to be served. Signs like these are unsavory, in my opinion. It's the little things that cost this business a 3 or 4 star rating. read more

I eat at this place at least twice a week especially when im adding on weight.. The pisa is great and the prices are great too.. Also odd thing is it seems to be pretty healthy.. I go through at least 2 large pisa's with mushrooms a week and my abs never fade so thats a plus.. So overall its a great deal for me read more

The pizza is not bad considering its local and convenient to Downey residents. The overall service is my only concern. I don't need anyone to kiss my butt when I call in an order or walk in but to be arrogant about how you don't care about service is when I write a review. Flat out people who work at Pizza time are rude and don't give a shit about customer service. I get customer service and I understand retail because I worked it for over 20 yrs. so when I have the front counter guy give me horrible service I let it slide because he may of had a crappy customer before me. However when I call in and I get the worst attitude, that's it I'm done. I will give someone else my money and business. Good luck Pizza Time, your gonna need it especially in today's competitive world of pizza. You lost me as a customer and I can guarantee you will lose more of your base customers with your poor service. read more

Bad customer service, first when I called to place an order the girl who answered was very rude and had a bad attitude. We were told our order would be here in 45 minutes but instead it took over an hour, once the pizza arrived the wings were cold,pizza was cold and they did not provide any ranch for the wings. Unfortunately our experience today was not a good one. read more

Great pizza but horrible customer service. I really love the pizza here but I really hate their customer service. It's a love hate relationship. I don't know what's up with this place is it being run by the owners relatives? It would explain why they keep such bad employees. The employees here are not friendly, seem annoyed at being there, and even more annoyed that I decided to make them work by ordering pizza. A couple of times I have dropped by they are closing earlier than their posted operating hours. This place could be so much better if they had employees who actually like to work. read more

I recently discovered pizza time. I order their supreme. It's so good! Wings are legit too. I'll tell you what isn't legit though. The emo looking kid that takes orders on the phone and in person. That guy is such a douche. He definitely doesn't like to work there. Always had a shitty attitude, no help at all. Only explanation for him still working there is he must be working for mommy and daddy. Really sucks because I'd definitely be eating there more often if not for this person. Other than that, pizza is absolutely delicious. read more

The food is good, especially their pizza, but their service is horrible. The last 3 times I've ordered the male answering the phone has had poor customer service skills. He answers with such a bad attitude like he hates his job. Not to mention, their delivery time was over an hour (on a regular day NOT WEEKENDS) when I live only 4 blocks away. Even thought their food is great, their lack of customer service skills made me not order from there anymore. read more

It was almost a year ago that I first tried Pizza Time. The food was so awesome that time that I really wanted to come here again on this visit to California. The pizza is still as awesome as ever and the wings are too. Great customer service again. I was greeted with a friendly smile and they were very attentive to me. We tried this out for the first time last night and it was NOT disappointing! First off their prices are great! Second the food was delicious. We ordered a steak sandwich and hot wings and two slices of pizza. The food was delicious. And last but definitely not least. The customer service was amazing for it to be a small place like that. We showed up right before closing time (sorry guys) and PERSONALLY I would have probably been irritated at that, but the guy (his shirt said Tony) was great. He greeted us immediately. Answered all our questions and took our order all with a pleasant, friendly and patient attitude. I'm a SUCKER for good customer service Thanks guys you will be seeing more of us and we live so close by so that's a plus! read more

Haven't been here for a while, but today I decided to try it again after seeing it was remodeled and that they were getting pretty good reviews. And I'm glad I went. I just got a pepperoni & sausage pizza, but wow was it good. I really am impressed. Plus they have carry out prices for pizza, which made my wallet very happy. The pizza we received was the driest we've ever had. It was like biting into cardboard. Red Baron frozen pizza tastes better. Looking at other reviews, some pizzas looked much better, while others appeared just as dry as ours, so it seems inconsistent. The customer service was good, and I appreciate that, but we wouldn't return for the pizza. Overall, very disappointing.

I went to pizza time yesterday.... This is my 3rd time here :) in a short time this place has become one of my favorite... I live 20 min. Away but I don't care driving the extra miles. They have great specials through out the week, so make sure to ask what they have going on. Yesterday I got the (family deal) which included a large pizza w/ 2 toppings your choice of 2 pastas, 2salads, 2garlic breads n 2 drinks for only 26.99 wowwwww I couldn't believe it :D I felt like I was ripping them off. Everything was DELICIOUS... What else can I say that hasn't already been mentioned, the place is spotless & the service is great....another thing I don't think this place deserves 3* it has everything to be a 5* restaurant the food, service, the A (health code)..... (Sometimes people come in with an attitude and then they write a bad review :(..... Like yesterday a "lady"came in while I was waiting for my order and she had a lousy attitude the gentlemen who approached her keep his coolness, I give him a lot of proves I don't think I could have handle it that well. I know they say that the costumer is always right I don't usually agree and I think restaurants shouldn't be grade by lousy people that don't have any manners an act really bossy :( you have to be a lady/gentleman and have respect. This place has good food that is true but going in to order is like taking a trip through the gang related side of town. The employee at the cash register who is increasingly adding tattoos on himself is quiet intimidating and appears to want a confrontation from all who visit. It is a scary place to visit unless you feel like getting into a bad situation. I decided to make phone orders as opposed to going in and the same person answered the phone and was making me repeat myself and feigning that he could not understand my order. I guess that he is the owner or the owners son who has no fear of being fired. If were not for this individual I would bet that this place would get some very good business. P.s. Wow i usually never write reviews but i just had to what can i say about this place best pizza place in town i've been coming here since the great man Arturo used to work their im hooked.Come here one to two times a week. The 5stat rating is based on the quality of the pizza and the great toppings! It's started before I could even get any flavors in my mouth just by looking at this pizza, it had melting cheese with generously toppings. From the first bite of that soft pizza dough, I bit into a whole other level.haven't had any thing better than this. One of the best pizza shops in the city! I love the hot wings there big and juicy. The pizza is delicious they have good quality cheese. Shop is spotless clean and have an awesome menu ! Makes me want to order everything from it . Service is ok .That's the only downer :/ but rather than that , I recommend this place to everyone who knows what real pizza is and also don't forget to try their subs ! this is my first time here I came here since all my friend be bragging about this place n what can I say the place is small it look nice they have digital menu n they have a place to sit n eat I tried the chicken sub n a small pizza it was delicious the place was pack the staff their was nice they kept asking me u ok do u need any thing else I didn't get a chance to try out the pastrami pizza I heard good things about it for sure ill be coming back to this place ill bring my family next time all they need now is beer n this place will be popping they told me they were working on that hopefully they get it soon read more

If y'all looking for Bombskies pizza and Italian food ! This is the spot ! I just can't explain how tasty their pizza is . The cheese is so good I always order a cheese bread and just add jalapeños to give it that spicy taste. Oh lord ! Let's talk about the hot wings ! Xtra hot wings are of the hook ! My fav. Nothing compare to wing stop or BWW. These are jumbo wings with meat ! They recently updated their lobby with nice booths and tables .
