We make a stop at Pizza Shuttle every month or two with the entire family. Aside from pizza, they have just about anything you could want. I'll start with the negatives; #1. On occasion, like every other place on the east side of Milwaukee, it can be tough to find parking. They have their own little parking lot under the restaurant, but it fills up fast and often their delivery drivers are a healthy portion of the cars hogging up the parking spaces. #2. They often attract a shady crowd. I know, i'm bringing my wife and kids to a hip, college neighborhood, this should be expected. I've found that its not uncommon to be solicited for money or food while eating here. Often there are loud, boisterous people amongst the eating customers. Nothing that keeps me from coming back, just not your mothers tea party crowd. Now for the positives; #1. Really good pizza! The options are endless, as they have several creative pizza options. Don't like their creations, design your own. Oh, and individual slices starting at .99 cents! Mmmm!! #2. Ice cream. They scoop a bunch of flavors, make sundaes and shakes. Big hit with my kids!! #3. Appetizers are amazing. Fried pickles, garlic breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, nachos, tater tots, french fries, you name it....they've got it, and its good! When we're on the East Side and want greasy food in a jiffy, it's Pizza Shuttle for the win. When we finally walk out the place across the street after 45 minutes of waiting for them to get pita bread for our falafel, it's Pizza Shuttle to the rescue. It's not great pizza. Pizza Shuttle has been a staple within my diet ever since I started working downtown about 6 years ago. While this hasn't helped my figure, it sure does please the taste buds. Pizza Shuttle has great pizza, but they are much more than that. They have beers on tap, ice cream, slushies, salads, chicken wings, fried chicken.... I could go on an on. While so many pizza Places can do the pizza well, they tend to be lacking in every other area. Not Pizza Shuttle. Their friend chicken and wings are great. Their ice cream is awesome and who doesn't love a place with several beers on tap to compliment your pizza. But let's not get crazy here. This isn't fine dining. It might not even be the best pizza you will eat (though it is my personal favorite) but it's a place that is a jack of all trades. They may not be perfect at anything, but they are really good with everything. The ambiance is something any one can enjoy, as long as you don't mind dealing with annoying teenagers who love this place. It just feels like a pizza place. There is a jukebox, photo booth, crazy art and who could forget the inflatable cow. Again, it's not fine dining, but for what it is, it's pretty awesome. If you need a place with a ton of options or you just want a really good pizza, there aren't many places in Milwaukee that I think are better. Their delivery is super fast if you live near them but it's laid back enough to go there anytime you feel a craving. This will remain in my staple of foods and I don't care how fat I get. read more

Received a coupon for a free 1-topping small pizza. The pizza here is always good. The cheese is flavorful and the crust on the pizza is perfect. It is nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. It's also the perfect size. Some crusts on the end of pizzas can be as big as bread sticks, but pizza shuttle gives you just enough. For those that prefer pan style crusts, the Sicilian Pan pizza is fantastic, with a generous amount of their thick pizza sauce. The menu is extensive and there is sure to be something for everybody. I generally stay away from places that have too many different types of food on the menu, but Pizza Shuttle seems to care about the quality of their food a bit more and I've never been completely disappointed. Their wings are pretty decent, and so are their salads. The dining room is pretty cool, with TVs and an internet jukebox. There's even an old table-top Pac-Man game. Overall, this place is often a good casual place to go with a group, especially if you're dining in. A friend of mine is a fan of the Florentine pizza here. I think she put it best when she said that after eating said pie that, "the last thing on earth I want to eat now is pizza". I don't think she said this because it was the greatest experience on the planet.... We stopped in and ordered our pizza for takeout. It didn't take an inordinate amount of time. The staff seemed about as friendly as you'd expect. We walked a block away to the apartment and our pie was soggy and mostly tasteless. The cats weren't even particularly excited about the scraps... This place was in TimeOut Chicago and when my boyfriend and I were in Milwaukee and needed a late-night dinner, we decided to give it a try. Our staple is basil and bacon and to our surprise basil was listed as a free item. However, when we got it, it was just a few sprinkles of dried basil on top; nothing special. However, the bacon was plentiful. The crust was actually pretty good too. I liked that it was a bit charred around the edges. All in all a fairly good pie. I only had Pizza Shuttle on my trip helping a friend, so I only experienced the food via carryout. The pizza warm nice and hot. I loved the crust which was bubbly and crisp. I also liked how they put the pepperoni under the cheese, which is one of those odd things I have always enjoyed. Since we got a lot of pie for a bunch of people we had lots of leftovers for the following day. While I am a fan of cold pizza, Pizza Shuttle pizza was a little too rubbery for next day cravings. Although when heated up in the oven, it was revived a little and far better. Although, it still would not have its first day cripiness. Overall I would say, eat it the day your order it. Okay, so I've been a long-time customer and fan of Pizza Shuttle for years, but the service I received last night was TERRIBLE. Not only was the delivery driver late, but she showed up at the wrong address, which was 15-20 minutes away. She also hung up on me twice and was super rude. By the time I received my food it was cold, so I had to heat it up in the oven (never got an apology from the delivery driver either). And my pizza wasn't even cut! Overall I had to wait almost 2 hours to eat after I placed my order, which is ridiculous. I understand Friday nights can be hectic, I used to be foods worker myself, but this was just unacceptable. I ordered from Pizza Shuttle via GrubHub. My order consisted of a small pizza with extra cheese and pineapple. I placed my order around 11:50, and it was delivered to my office by 12:20. I though this was great, because GrubHub told me the anticipated time was 1 PM. The pizza was delicious; there was more than enough toppings on it. I would definitely order from Pizza Shuttle again. Have gotten delivery a few times and at best its horribly inconsistent. First time, they got my order right but the pizza wasn't very hot. Second time instead of Chicago style deep dish I got normal crust. And third time they gave me bread sticks instead of bosco sticks. Pizza itself is pretty mediocre. Granted its incredibly greasy. We walked in to order for dine in. The redhaired girl at the register was eating off of the pizza in the case. Then she begins digging at her teeth, touched the cooler, register, pizza tray and counter without washing hands. Next up was a dark haired male or female?? With glasses who though it was a good idea to blow nose behind counter right by the pizzas in the glass. I must say, at least he or she used hand sanitizer after contamination!! My friend and I placed our order and went to find a seat. The entire seating area is filthy!! No tables cleaned off, Booths are filthy, floor is filthy... we ask who's responsible to clear/clean tables and were told by one of the pizza makers that a bus boy was to be cleaning. A guy finally came over after about 5+ minutes, wiped tables and smeared the debris around and onto the floor. Next they call our number for our order up. It was to be a large pizza with csmo and a 6 pak of wings. The pie was cold and the onions were missing. I went to speak to somebody about this. The only person available was a Brunette pizza maker, who offered to box us up a new pizza?? She came to our table to take the pizza that was cold and missing onions, said she was giving it to the drivers. She stood there a bit looking at my friend, whom was eating that 1st slice, as if she wanted that slice back as well. My friend told her right out that we had been waiting long, she was hungry and was not giving her the SLICE. So now we're back to waiting, we're starving, just came from a gathering at Family Peace Center that ran out of food. Our pizza comes out with an apology and CSMO. The apology was a waste!! Pizza toppings were cold, crust was only warm, we were both tired from sitting, disgusted with the poor hygiene of the workers, filth of the store, poor food prep and some of the shady drug addicts sitting around filling cups with bottomless beverages. I know I was on the Lower East Side but not one of these issues is cool. I not only had a discount code, but they also gave me a discount for being a first time delivery order which was awesome! I got dinner and lunch for the next day: Chicken Caesar wrap, Asian chicken wrap, tempura green beans and garlic bread sticks. Everything was great except the chicken caesar wrap came as a pita instead of in a tortilla. Flavors were very good and portions sizes were generous.
