Best pizza plus around. We make the drive from riverbank . Have been to all the other pizza plus around and no one tops newman location.

Nasty- were from Turlock and recently moved here.. so we like pizza plus, from there I guess. Definitely doesn't count all locations. The pizza was super expensive and the crust was soggy... pizza should never have soggy, wet crust. We didn't even eat our leftovers.. what a waste and shame. read more

FINALLY had a pizza from the "new" Pizza Plus. Have to say, pleasantly, grateful to get a pizza that tastes good, looked good and was made to our request! A very, pleasant, young lady took our order over the phone and she had EXCELLENT phone etiquette! THANK YOU to whomever is now operating the recently, reopened Pizza Plus! Please continue this great service that has been lacking for so long! Good pizza, made how you ask and by very, nice people. I hope this will continue where as others have fallen short in the past. We were craving pizza so stopped in about 7 pm. We selected a large combo pizza, and it was quite good. Generous with the toppings, which were very tasty, and the crust was great. If you like a crust on the thin side, which crisps up nicely around the edges, you'll probably like it too. We ate in and noticed they also have a salad bar so we'll definitely be back. Good service and plenty of seating, so if you bring your family that's definitely a plus. read more

PHANTOM BRIDE!!!!! On tap... ? Could not believe this. One of my buddies had in formed me that they had my favorite beer on the tap and couldn't believe it so I had to check it out for myself. I was visiting my family in Newman. This is a small town so I opted out of my go to Mexican food places and chose to try out Pizza Plus. This was a mistake I won't make again. We order over 120.00 in pizza. This isn't a small amount of money especially during these hard times. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have mushroom, sausage and pepperoni. The pizza had only mushroom! When the delivery driver brought the pizza I also tipped him $22.00. I called and spoke to a representative and notified them of the incorrect order. They wanted me to bring the pizza to them to exchange it. I ordered delivery why would I drive to the restaurant!? Then when they came to bring me the right pizza the driver wanted a pizza back, he said it doesn't matter which one, he just needed a pizza back to exchange them. WTH?! Then he asked for a tip!!! What in the hell? Why would I be asked for a second tip when they messed up the first time? I called to make a complaint and was spoken to rudely by the representative and when I asked for a name she hung up. With COVID so frequent why would they want a pizza, hot food, back from a customer when they messed up. Then to have someone stand in the doorway asking for a tip?!??!! This is ridiculous and it just made my family and I want to order from Mountain Mike's from now on. Wish I could've spoken to an owner or a manager instead of being hung up on. Smh read more

This place have no glass and no respect from its employees. They make suckies ass food. No thanks to them they my girlfriend the hearts burn to where she couldn't sleep at well because of the pizza not being good to eat. This restaurant made me wait 50 minutes inside and I had to go my uncle went and asked for a refund but they ignored him and we had to wait 7 more minutes and we got are pizza. read more

Recently moved to newman and since moving here I have come to pizza plus once a week haha it's delicious!

I was like a ghost when I walked in. They didn't acknowledge me at all when I came in and I waited about 15 minutes for service the cashier their completely ignored me when I was at the counter she minded her business and then took a phone call I was getting a little impatient and then a customer comes in and guessing by the conversation she had with the workers their I was guessing she was known their but what shocked me the most was when she was greeted with immediate service while I was still standing their I got a a bit angry at this and finally someone asked for my order. read more

We had a variety of pizza breads, bbq wings and a ham and cheese sandwich. The food was great, hot when I picked it up and ready when they said it would be. I could see the manager assisting new staff with questions, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. We will definately return! read more
