Eating at Pizza Plus is like entering a wonderful little world where food is tasty and people are nice. The food: SO DELICIOUS! And you can get your pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni! I don't think that the vegan sausage on the menu actually exists, though. Every time I order it I get pepperoni. Weird. The service: SO GREAT. Attentive and knowledgeable without being smothering. The Trivial Pursuit: SO FUN. Why are there Trivial Pursuit cards on every table? Who cares! It's fun! The community: MAKES ME WEEP. One time when I was eating here, a very old woman came in who was obviously neither able-bodied nor able-minded. The owner brought her take-out and tried to give it to her for free; when the woman insisted on paying, the owner accepted very little payment. It's nothing short of awesome - though I admit I've stuck with the ziti rather than trying new things. I have had a few sides and appetizers as well, and they are all exception. I give this place four stars because I usually order in, and they have restrictions about ordering pies after 5pm... otherwise u don't really have complaints. My roommate has been raving about the pizza rolls from Pizza Plus for months now so I finally decided to give them a go. The inside of the restaurant is nice enough, the garden area is decent but the pizza rolls are awesome. Though one corner of my dough wasn't as crispy as I would have liked the rest of it was super tasty. I had the veggie roll which was stuffed full of spinach, mushrooms and zucchini (all super fresh), a good amount of cheese and served with tomato sauce. I've been going here for a while now and I was a loyal customer up until a recent experience. A friend and I wanted to surprise our friend on her birthday with a pie that had "Happy Birthday" spelled in toppings. Like I said before we frequent Pizza Plus and gave them a lot of business. All we asked for was a simple request. We even offered to pay extra for the service and the staff was very rude about it and did not oblige. Solid pizza shop in the area. I come here a few times a year with my daughter after school. She enjoys her pineapple pizza and I usually get the shrimp scampi lunch special that comes with a can of soda. Tasty. No complaints. It serves its purpose. The first time we ordered there was a bit of confusion with the online order. It didn't appear to have gone through on my end so I just called and ordered again. When it was delivered I paid cash. 10 minutes later I received a phone call from the shop saying that I had paid twice. I told them I didn't think it had gone through and she said, okay but if you find that it has, please call us back and we'll refund you. I didn't notice the payment until the next day, and for the next two days I was too busy to do anything about it... so three days after my order I happened to walk by the place and I decided to go in and see what I could do about it. Unfortunately the food is average. Pizza is just passable but the chicken parmigiana was incredibly disappointing. It's like they found the oldest piece of chicken they could and piled on sauce and way too much cheese to cover it up. Two of us ordered it at the same meal and were both as disappointed as each other. The server was very pleasant but it certainly doesn't make up for such bland food. I've been about 3 or 4 times because it's convenient with kids and afterwards each time I ask "why??". We spent around $70 this time and close to $100 in a bigger group previously and I feel like it's very expensive for what you get. Servings are big but I'd prefer quality over quantity. read more
