Just based off the customer service I received on the phone, my review is going to be low regardless if the food arrives promptly and tasty, which is disappointing cause Beverley Pizza is a neighborhood staple. Whoever yall got answering your phones? Have them take a course in phone etiquette. Update: food arrived and the calamari had no tentacles at all, another huge red flag. looked nothing like the photo of calamari they posted themselves which is the only reason I decided to order from them and not Maria's. I was really craving for some pizza and decided to check them out since I'm not a fan of Korner. Surprisingly, Beverley's pizza was decent and price wise, their slice is $3 in stead of $4 at Korner. The employee there are friendly which is a plus and I also like that they have a few tables set up so if we wanted to dine it, that was an option. Best of all, I noticed they even carry the Hot Mike Honey on their table for us to help ourselves, which for me was unheard of. Overall, I really enjoy their pizza. I had a plain slice and garlic knots with melted cheese on top, which help hit the spot. Would I come back here. Absolutely. Now if I'm craving for pizza before heading home, this will be my go to spot. read more

Favorite pizza spot. Ive been ordering from them for i dont even know how many years and its always been perfect, but tonights order was SO good it compelled me to actually leave a review about it. If a manager is reading this, it was on a thursday around 7-730, whoever you had on shift deserves a raise. Ive never had a "special instruction" that a restaurant actually listened to (i was the one who asked for you to "burn it" haha) For the rest of you...i recommend the fried raviolis, and they actually send enough dressing with the salads that you arent just gnawing on leaves for half of it. Delivery was received in time frame as promised. Pizza arrived hot and the cheese was in place which was highly appreciated. Chicken wings nice and crispy, they put a little hole in the plastic lid so it doesn't steam away the crispness. The chicken in the Alfredo dish was dry and hard, disappointed in this. Won't order the chicken again. Our delivery order was missing the garlic knots which was brought back in a matter of minutes. The website suggest you use the Slice app which makes it convenient for the store but those prices are higher than the in-house menu. It's better to call over the busy phone line to get the regular prices. Delivery is free. Don't forget to tip! read more

Can't speak to the pizza here but on nights where you're feeling a heartier (carbier) meal, the pasta/entrees are the way to go. We got: - garlic knots - ceasar salad - penne vodka with chicken - lasagna - garlic linguine - chicken parm with penne - baked ziti Total came out to about $74 (incl tax) and everything was pretty good for Italian-American pizzeria food. The food is great but they shrunk their portion size on pasta dishes and pretend that it's always been made in the small metal tin. Shrinking portions with the same price makes a shrinking customer base. Food is always fast though. read more

Since moving to Brooklyn, I must've ordered from Beverley over a hundred times. The pizza, mozzarella sticks, even some of the sandwiches are a perfectly greasy type of comfort food that just doesn't come the same anywhere else. I decided to switch things up and get a chicken parm hero the last time I ordered (as opposed to the pepperoni pizza I normally get). Coming out of the foil it was delivered it, it was so cheesy that it looked like a disaster but somehow that only made it better. They also have some of the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. You know you're spoiled for choice when you didn't even realize this pizza place existed. But when you want a pizza and it happens to be Easter, this is the only place to be! Order over the phone or in person, pick up or delivery, cash only. Ignore the online menus (or at least the prices: we were charged less than the online menu said). We recommend the grandma, which is square and divided into 9 smaller slices. Plenty of sauce and not too much cheese, a few pieces of basil. Maybe not as practical to hold as the regular round pie, which is what they mostly sell. Anyway, the taste is good, and they also do a bunch of vegetarian options (spinach, mushroom, etc). I still prefer Frankie's up on fort hamilton, but this place is a good second place. read more

Their Eggplant Parmigiana is very delicious and made right. A lot of times when I try ordering Eggplant Parmigiana I get disappointed, but this restaurant makes soooo well. The order came really quick, and the portion was large so it could easily last you 2-3 servings. Had the Sophia Loren pie. So gross. Let's start with the crust. It was so dry and unflavorful. I couldn't eat it and this is coming from someone who loves crust. The pizza was really lacking cheese. This pie had a large tomato slice in each slice but that doesn't mean you should skimp out on the cheese on top of the tomato. Customer service was kinda rude too. Called in to give a time to deliver my pizza because I didn't want it to get to my apartment before I was home and I guess that's such a draining request because the woman on the phone was so annoyed.Would never order from here again. read more

Tried a plain cheese slice on the way home. It's in the neighborhood and relatively new. Not very good. Korner pizza across the street from my apartment isn't very good either but this is substantially worse. The staff were super friendly. Almost overly enthusiastic at serving someone. I was the only person they had probably seen in hours. A slice is $2 and that's frankly a pretty decent deal. But this slice is almost worse than $1 Za. The crust is like cardboard. Since ordering multiple additional times (few decent take out options in my area) I've found the delivery time to generally take over an hour and usually longer than seamless' estimate. The Philly cheesesteak on average has very little cheese and requesting additional piece of cheese comes at a cost of $2! I had buffalo wings which were ok until we noticed one still had a feather still attached. That's a pretty basic misstep in food prep and pretty unappealing On the plus side I would recommend their chocolate mousse dessert. Nice texture and flavor. Last night I got a delivery. Chicken parmigiana. I've had it once or twice before and it was pretty decent-heroes, and platters. I have never seen so much breading on a chicken cutlet before but I suppose it was to conceal minuscule pieces of chicken. One piece however, I tried to cut with a knife and couldn't imagine what was keeping the knife from going through normally. I removed the breading and the piece of what I doubt was chicken was nearly impossible to bite-like a piece of rubber. I've had deliveries that were disappointing, but I won't be ordering from this spot again. read more

I order delivery from Beverly at least twice a week. My kids love their pizza and there's not much in the way if competition in my hood. Foodwise: Pizza is pretty good. 3.5/5 Prepared meals: Also decent. 3.5/5 Burgers : not so good The biggest complaint I have is the delivery time. It's always inconsistent. The woman on the phone said she didn't know when it went out for delivery and when asked if it would be hot when it arrived (since it arrived cold last week) she said "yeah, pretty sure." First time ordering from here and it was quite the experience! I ordered a margarita pizza & garlic knots and they arrived warm and firm (not soggy like a lot of delivered margs do). However, I noticed the pie didn't have any cheese on it. I was pretty hungry, so I started eating it anyways. About 15 minutes later, the restaurant calls me back and inquires if my pizza was missing cheese; I confirm it was and they say they're sending a new one straight away. We have been ordering from Beverly for about 12 years, and though they're not our only place, we chose them repeatedly for a couple things (like their "grandma" pizza). Over the past couple of years, though, things have changed: Sauces not as flavorful, much more oil and fat swimming on top, not as much fresh basil. Sure, prices go up, but we've been paying them because that's fair. Two weeks ago we ordered a regular pie from them because our other neighborhood place was closed, and Beverly got it right enough that we decided to order from them again last night. However, last night was so bad, we couldn't eat it. Sure, we knew the sauce wouldn't be so great, but the crust? Instead of a good, basic Brooklyn pizza crust, it was like that light-weight characterless bread used for heros, and it was TERRIBLE. Super light, practically fluffy, and who the heck is looking for "fluffy" as a quality of pizza crust in Brooklyn?! We called and told them it was awful, that we couldn't even eat it. "We can send you another pie." Why would we want another pie we can't eat?? We only wanted to be very clear about why we're not ordering from them ever again. This was my pizzeria for many years until recently when we ordered a pizza and it arrived cold and obviously as though it had been tossed about in the box (sauce on the lid of the box and lopsided). I called Beverly and explained that the pizza was cold and also "ugly" to which I was told I should go somewhere else to order pizza in the future and hung up on. My husband called back and he was told that it was impossible that the pizza was cold and the lady was super offended I had called the pizza ugly, although she admitted she hadn't made it. She said her boss was on vacation but maybe he would call us back, which he never did. She was extremely rude and sarcastic. Terrible customer service. As an 8 months pregnant woman really wanting pizza, Beverly crushed my dreams and refused to refund us for an inedible pizza despite years of patronage. Impossible of a place. I've gotten food here twice so far and both times disappointed. Now normally I wouldn't make a big deal but the wait time is too slow. After waiting over a half hour in the place for my food I was about to cancel and leave. To compensate me they offered a soda for my time. That's the reason 3 stars instead of 2. In my opinion if they are too busy with their delivery orders then perhaps they need another location or a larger one. read more

They have a lot of selections in their menu and my family never complained about what I got them from this restaurant. We love the stuffed shells, burgers and of course the large pizza pie.
