Just based off the customer service I received on the phone, my review is going to be low regardless if the food arrives promptly and tasty, which is disappointing cause Beverley Pizza is a neighborhood staple. Whoever yall got answering your phones? Have them take a course in phone etiquette. Update: food arrived and the calamari had no tentacles at all, another huge red flag. looked nothing like the photo of calamari they posted themselves which is the only reason I decided to order from them and not Maria's. Not a fan. The wings look fine. Review is staying at 2 stars. read more

I was really craving for some pizza and decided to check them out since I'm not a fan of Korner. Surprisingly, Beverley's pizza was decent and price wise, their slice is $3 in stead of $4 at Korner. The employee there are friendly which is a plus and I also like that they have a few tables set up so if we wanted to dine it, that was an option. Best of all, I noticed they even carry the Hot Mike Honey on their table for us to help ourselves, which for me was unheard of. Overall, I really enjoy their pizza. I had a plain slice and garlic knots with melted cheese on top, which help hit the spot. Would I come back here. Absolutely. Now if I'm craving for pizza before heading home, this will be my go to spot. read more

Favorite pizza spot. Ive been ordering from them for i dont even know how many years and its always been perfect, but tonights order was SO good it compelled me to actually leave a review about it. If a manager is reading this, it was on a thursday around 7-730, whoever you had on shift deserves a raise. Ive never had a "special instruction" that a restaurant actually listened to (i was the one who asked for you to "burn it" haha) For the rest of you...i recommend the fried raviolis, and they actually send enough dressing with the salads that you arent just gnawing on leaves for half of it. Thank you for our perfect dinner, and exceeding expectations as always read more

Delivery was received in time frame as promised. Pizza arrived hot and the cheese was in place which was highly appreciated. Chicken wings nice and crispy, they put a little hole in the plastic lid so it doesn't steam away the crispness. The chicken in the Alfredo dish was dry and hard, disappointed in this. Won't order the chicken again. Our delivery order was missing the garlic knots which was brought back in a matter of minutes. The website suggest you use the Slice app which makes it convenient for the store but those prices are higher than the in-house menu. It's better to call over the busy phone line to get the regular prices. Delivery is free. Don't forget to tip! read more

I rarely ever order the pasta at local pizzerias but wanted to try something new. The quality, portions and prices were all pretty decent! Can't speak to the pizza here but on nights where you're feeling a heartier (carbier) meal, the pasta/entrees are the way to go. We got: - garlic knots - ceasar salad - penne vodka with chicken - lasagna - garlic linguine - chicken parm with penne - baked ziti Total came out to about $74 (incl tax) and everything was pretty good for Italian-American pizzeria food. I enjoyed the penne vodka and the garlic linguine the most. A good type of meal to share family-style. read more

The food is great but they shrunk their portion size on pasta dishes and pretend that it's always been made in the small metal tin. Shrinking portions with the same price makes a shrinking customer base. Food is always fast though. read more

Basically my go-to pizza delivery during this here Covid-19 pandemic. Where'd all the pizza places go? Beverley always gets my order right and the results hit the spot. The crust is where it's at. Soft, tasty, the perfect bed for everything on top. Yesterday, I tried something new, opting for a pie with meatballs, fresh garlic and tomato slices. Juicy and satisfying. Pick a specialty pizza or build your own. read more

Since moving to Brooklyn, I must've ordered from Beverley over a hundred times. The pizza, mozzarella sticks, even some of the sandwiches are a perfectly greasy type of comfort food that just doesn't come the same anywhere else. I decided to switch things up and get a chicken parm hero the last time I ordered (as opposed to the pepperoni pizza I normally get). Coming out of the foil it was delivered it, it was so cheesy that it looked like a disaster but somehow that only made it better. They also have some of the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Highly recommend. read more

One of my go-to's for Italian take-out comfort food. Everything is fresh and delicious. No frills here just New York style pizza and pasta the way it's supposed to be. Reasonable prices. Lightning fast delivery. read more

You know you're spoiled for choice when you didn't even realize this pizza place existed. But when you want a pizza and it happens to be Easter, this is the only place to be! Order over the phone or in person, pick up or delivery, cash only. Ignore the online menus (or at least the prices: we were charged less than the online menu said). We recommend the grandma, which is square and divided into 9 smaller slices. Plenty of sauce and not too much cheese, a few pieces of basil. Maybe not as practical to hold as the regular round pie, which is what they mostly sell. Anyway, the taste is good, and they also do a bunch of vegetarian options (spinach, mushroom, etc). I still prefer Frankie's up on fort hamilton, but this place is a good second place. read more

Pretty good pizza when I go and pick up , but every time I call to place for a delivery they never pick up i I tried ordering for a delivery like 7-8 times and they never pick up. They did once and the pizza was good , but they hardly pick up even after I waited like 10-15 min , still no answer read more

Solid pizza. Always delivers quick. Wish they could make a tomato pie -- just don't add cheese, upon request. They messed up my order once and made good on it with a free pie. End of the day it's still our go to for pizza delivery. read more

This was my 2nd time ordering from here and I'm really glad I did. I had to leave a review because this place is so much more than just a pizza spot. Their Eggplant Parmigiana is very delicious and made right. A lot of times when I try ordering Eggplant Parmigiana I get disappointed, but this restaurant makes soooo well. The order came really quick, and the portion was large so it could easily last you 2-3 servings. The last time I ordered from here I tried the vodka pizza and it was amazing - I ate almost the entire thing by myself. I definitely recommend to anyone craving authentic Italian food!! read more

Had the Sophia Loren pie. So gross. Let's start with the crust. It was so dry and unflavorful. I couldn't eat it and this is coming from someone who loves crust. The pizza was really lacking cheese. This pie had a large tomato slice in each slice but that doesn't mean you should skimp out on the cheese on top of the tomato. Customer service was kinda rude too. Called in to give a time to deliver my pizza because I didn't want it to get to my apartment before I was home and I guess that's such a draining request because the woman on the phone was so annoyed.Would never order from here again. read more

This pizza rules. Exceptional cheese to sauce ratio, impeccable seasoning. We live a bit outside of their usual delivery range, and they still delivered a steaming hot pie promptly to us. If you are looking for a real deal slice or pie, look no further. read more

Really disappointing. Flavorless dough. Sauce tasted like jarred pasta sauce. Dried oregano on a margarita??? Dollar pizza would be preferable. Or even frozen pizza. The pie arrived room temp (but perhaps this was a Door Dash issue). I feel bad because this place is clearly struggling if they have to charge $21 for such a low quality product. To recap: pricey, bad pizza that takes forever to prepare. read more

Tried a plain cheese slice on the way home. It's in the neighborhood and relatively new. Not very good. Korner pizza across the street from my apartment isn't very good either but this is substantially worse. The staff were super friendly. Almost overly enthusiastic at serving someone. I was the only person they had probably seen in hours. A slice is $2 and that's frankly a pretty decent deal. But this slice is almost worse than $1 Za. The crust is like cardboard. The cheese is old and dry tasting. Nothing is beckoning to me to come back except the fact that its warm but so is all pizza. . . . read more

Love this place! delicious and reliable. Also - I recently had delivery issues (seamless not the Beverly pizza delivery workers) where my pizza came in pretty bad shape - I called and they were super apologetic and kind and sent me a new pie asap! read more

Best pizza in the hood! Sauce is delicious, delivery is speedy. I wish I'd had this spot in my previous neighborhoods because it surpasses them all. Grandma Pie can't be beaten! read more

Since ordering multiple additional times (few decent take out options in my area) I've found the delivery time to generally take over an hour and usually longer than seamless' estimate. The Philly cheesesteak on average has very little cheese and requesting additional piece of cheese comes at a cost of $2! I had buffalo wings which were ok until we noticed one still had a feather still attached. That's a pretty basic misstep in food prep and pretty unappealing On the plus side I would recommend their chocolate mousse dessert. Nice texture and flavor. If there were more delivery options of better quality I wouldn't order from here anymore. read more

Quite surprised by the amount of negative reviews. In terms of neighborhood pizza joints around Ditmas Park, they have the fastest delivery and consistently top-notch pizzas (and subs). You can't go wrong with the "Slice Grandma", and I'm also a sucker for the "Creamy Artichoke"...when it's time to carb out ;) read more

Moved to the neighborhood a year and a half ago and tried a few spots but this is the best. Quick delivery, consistent product.

Last night I got a delivery. Chicken parmigiana. I've had it once or twice before and it was pretty decent-heroes, and platters. I have never seen so much breading on a chicken cutlet before but I suppose it was to conceal minuscule pieces of chicken. One piece however, I tried to cut with a knife and couldn't imagine what was keeping the knife from going through normally. I removed the breading and the piece of what I doubt was chicken was nearly impossible to bite-like a piece of rubber. I've had deliveries that were disappointing, but I won't be ordering from this spot again. read more

I order delivery from Beverly at least twice a week. My kids love their pizza and there's not much in the way if competition in my hood. Foodwise: Pizza is pretty good. 3.5/5 Prepared meals: Also decent. 3.5/5 Burgers : not so good The biggest complaint I have is the delivery time. It's always inconsistent. Sometimes, the delivery comes within 30 minutes. Tonight the delivery took 1 hr and 40 minutes!!! But overall, a great neighborhood joint. read more

Great pizza, takes a long time to deliver and seems to get worse each time we order. Tonight it took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. The woman on the phone said she didn't know when it went out for delivery and when asked if it would be hot when it arrived (since it arrived cold last week) she said "yeah, pretty sure." This will be the last time we order from them. So disappointing since we do like the pizza. Update: We haven't had as many issues lately with our pizzas coming super late so I bumped it up a star. A decent Friday night pie at the end of a long week. Some weeks it's better than others (I prefer more sauce and not heaping with cheese), but good enough to keep coming back. read more

First time ordering from here and it was quite the experience! I ordered a margarita pizza & garlic knots and they arrived warm and firm (not soggy like a lot of delivered margs do). However, I noticed the pie didn't have any cheese on it. I was pretty hungry, so I started eating it anyways. About 15 minutes later, the restaurant calls me back and inquires if my pizza was missing cheese; I confirm it was and they say they're sending a new one straight away. The pizza arrived shortly after, complete with another order of garlic knots! TLDR; delicious food, above & beyond customer service! read more

We have been ordering from Beverly for about 12 years, and though they're not our only place, we chose them repeatedly for a couple things (like their "grandma" pizza). Over the past couple of years, though, things have changed: Sauces not as flavorful, much more oil and fat swimming on top, not as much fresh basil. Sure, prices go up, but we've been paying them because that's fair. Two weeks ago we ordered a regular pie from them because our other neighborhood place was closed, and Beverly got it right enough that we decided to order from them again last night. However, last night was so bad, we couldn't eat it. Sure, we knew the sauce wouldn't be so great, but the crust? Instead of a good, basic Brooklyn pizza crust, it was like that light-weight characterless bread used for heros, and it was TERRIBLE. Super light, practically fluffy, and who the heck is looking for "fluffy" as a quality of pizza crust in Brooklyn?! We called and told them it was awful, that we couldn't even eat it. "We can send you another pie." Why would we want another pie we can't eat?? We only wanted to be very clear about why we're not ordering from them ever again. I guess last night was just the final thump in the head we needed to change our behavior. read more

Never tried the pizza. They said it would take an hour.. which is fine since its raining...but when they got lost and sent my pizza back. When I asked them to send the pizza I already paid for, they said that it was dry and that I wouldn't want it. I asked for a refund, and they said they can't do that. LOL...So make another pizza that isn't dry....and send it to my address maybe? It will be another hour before I get my pizza (thats 3 hours total for a pizza)...I won't bother reviewing it, because even if it was the best pizza I have ever had (which I am 2000% positive it won't be)..I would still give them 1 star. longer story short... I already have my oven preheated read more

Ordered through Grubhub- chicken parm with ziti and garlic knots with two drinks. Food comes after an hour and the delivery kid forgot two drinks. No big deal- he said he will be back soon. I start to eat the food and immediately am disappointed. The pasta was over cooked, the sauce bland and clearly cheap, and the chicken was chicken fingers that tasted stale and gross with equally gross cheese. I called and said very nicely I feel bad, but I'm unhappy with the food and would like my money back. The rude obnoxious lady on the phone asks me why I don't like it so I explain and she laughs and says "Honey, we get our chicken shipped to us fresh daily." Right- let's be serious. Still trying to be calm and nice I say can I just get a small pizza instead and I'll hand back the other meal- at first she says okay but then again brings up the chicken and why I don't like it and so I say I don't like it, it's bland and essentially chicken fingers covered in stale cheese and say either bring the pizza or I'll just get my money back- she starts getting loud so I told her I'll pay for the drinks and garlic knots and she can have the chicken parm back and I hang up. The delivery guy comes, has to call to "make sure" he can refund, the guy on the phone was being a jerk and like some bratty child insists the delivery kid take back everything including my half full root beer and to give me my money back. I say well I'll pay and keep the garlic knots and the drinks and you can have a tip and just give me the $15 back for the chicken parm- the dude on the phone refused and said I can't have anything. So the delivery kid legit takes all the food and drinks including my opened, half empty root beer. Totally bizarre and lame. This place sucks- end of story. read more

Lol. "We are pizza experts, there's no way we can make a mistake". This is what the lady on the phone had to say in her most condescending tone to us when we were trying to get our order done right. The food we order from here has always been the same whenever we order. Vodka pizza and spaghetti with clams. Pretty sure we know what we ordered ma'am. Maybe there was a change in ownership recently? Regardless, I wouldn't do business here again based solely on the rude customer service. I can't give an accurate review on the food since they sent us the wrong order. I bump this 3 star pizzeria down to a 1 star. read more
