After a nice hike up in Yorktown, NY, my wife suggested we stop at 'that food truck' we saw serving pizza. I thought she was kidding 'cause she keeps a super healthy diet. Long story short, best pizza we've had in a LONG time! Located in an open lot at the corner of Rts. 100 & 118 in Yorktown, the back of the truck looks like someone bolted a 4-season sunroom onto the back of an old Chevy flatbed. But upon closer inspection, a big wood-burning pizza oven can be seen inside the vehicle, and that's where the magic happens. I'm not a 'foody', so I'll just say that the 12" thin crust Marguerita and special Filetti (buffalo mozzarella & cherry tomatoes) pies were simply delicious. We also had mini cannoli's that were super yummy! Everything was made to order and FRESH! My wife now wants to schedule future hikes based upon the location of the Pizza Luca truck! Check pizzaluca.com and the click the 'find the truck' link for their hours before hopping in the car. Highly recommended.

Thought it was ok. The char was nice. The red sauce pizza margarita was fine (though nothing to make it a stand out) but what wasn't as appealing were our 2 white pies. They were horribly salty. Salty to the point where my kids refused pizza. Which was a first.

Checked out the new location on Quaker Ridge Road in New Rochelle, which was super convenient and had plenty of parking. The sauce stood out to me on this pie, definitely wasn't your standard pizza sauce but had a much richer flavor that went well with the buffalo mozzarella. The crust is very thin in the middle, with a solid crust around the edges. Definitely would go back and try the other options!

One star bc I'm forced. Over priced, ($18) burnt to death, flavorless, souless pizza, served with zero and I mean zerO pride. If you are at the JJFM, skip this rip off and go over to the guy selling gyros. That gyro saved the day. I folded that sad, expensive pizza in half and dumped it.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had in NYC. And maybe the closest to true naples-style. Luca is a timeless classy original. Inspiring.

We've recently moved back here, and this will be my go to place from now on for Tacos. If you come here during happy hour (3:30-6, I think), the place is inexpensive. I don't understand many of these reviews; they say that the food and drinks are great, then give the place 3 stars. Am I missing something? Solid 5 stars from me- keep up the good work!

I liked all the decor they had. The food was okay -- not the worst but maybe not my favorite. The chips were good and the salsa had something going on that we couldn't figure out but really enjoyed. We got the fish tacos, chicken tacos, and beef tacos. The fish tacos were pretty good but mild in flavoring. The chicken tacos were also pretty mild in flavor but the toppings were very tasty, and the beef tacos tasted too much like tomato sauce for my liking. I would maybe try something else the next time I visited to give this place a second shot, but the space itself was very nice.

We hired Mobile Pie Truck for our wedding on 9/1/2024. I cannot say enough good things about them…read more We had 120 people and they absolutely blew us away. We've been to at least 30 weddings collectively and the food at ours was top two. We did a salad course, pasta, 5 varieties of pies, two wood fired veggie variations and the cast iron cookies. MPT also handled cocktail hour--arrancini, chicken tenders and chicken meat balls, plus charcuterie and crudite. Everything was so delicious and impressive, our guests still talk about it. We had an upscale backyard wedding, and the guys accommodated our request to do family style service. The execution was completely seamless and the presentation was even more intentional than we expected. The food was hot, delicious, perfectly timed and well portioned. I honestly do not have a single bad thing to say. We have been thinking of other events we can host just so we can use Mobile Pie Truck again. Frank was very easy to work with, communicative and professional. They accommodated requests for additional items like pastas and salads we were interested in that weren't on the menu. They helped curate our courses and offered suggestions on what would and wouldn't work for menu options at scale. They were friendly and clean and they had a really impressive setup. We found their pricing to be the most reasonable of all the vendors we looked into, and the execution was truly seamless. Wedding food even at the more dialed in venues can be so boring, forgettable and most of all expensive. Mobile Pie Truck was the antidote to all the typical wedding catering pitfalls and then some. Cannot wait to use them again. Frank thank you so much for everything. We'll update with professional photography towards the end of the year:) We love Mobile Pie Truck!! Also!! I can confidently say you should completely disregard the one negative review from 5 years ago about a veggie pizza the reviewer seemed to not appreciate had veggies on. These guys are top notch, the pizza is delicious and they are total pros who care about their business.

If I could give negative stars I would. Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely no customer…read moreservice skills at all. If they treat their employees the same as they treat their clients, then I feel sorry for their clients. No communication with us, their former client, at all whether it's via email or phone. Found a live fly in one of their meals and sent us rotten, overripe fruit on several occasions. We have worked with them for a year and their staff turnover, from managers and supervisors to the chef, is ridiculous. I guess they value their employees just as much as their clients.

Ok, so The Crystal Spoon houses Top Chef Meals and I used a voucher to get seven prepared meals…read more The voucher was a great deal at around $15 for all seven meals and the regular prices aren't half bad, either. So my husband, son and I each picked two meals that we wanted to try and picked the seventh together. Each meal consists of a protein or pasta, and two sides. They are relatively inexpensive but are not that large. The meals are enough to satisfy if you don't normally eat all of your meals at buffets or with the "super-size" option. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, soups and desserts. The meals are all under $7.00 and are fully cooked and frozen for future consumption. They have a location in Elsmford, NY which is about 20 minutes North of Yonkers and I opted to pick up myself because delivery would have been an additional $20. They offer Meatloaf, Curry Chicken, Vegetable Lasagna, among a whole host of other dishes. All of their meals are prepared without the use of salt or preservatives. It's a very healthy alternative to have on hand instead of TV dinners or fast food options. Their online menu lists the nutritional information so that you can keep track of you intake. We still have a few meals leftover in the fridge and I have opted to use them as last minute options so that we maintain healthier diets in my household and when we run out, I will definitely order more meals for back-up. they are very convenient to have on hand.
