Had their pizza at a Christmas festival/market in Rye Brook. We were hungry and wanted something quick--this was both fast and surprisingly good. The crust is nice and thin, and we went with mushrooms and olives as toppings. A bit of char on the bottom gave it great flavor. Would definitely order again. read more

I was so excited to see the Abeetz truck at my office building. I ordered a few pies for lunch, planning to bring the majority home to the family after work. I'm actually part of the reason they come to my building because we had a breakfast/lunch company that ended up leaving, and we were without something close by for people to purchase food. I know the Abeetz truck from my husband's job because the food truck also visits his building, and I've had their pizza before from that location. I asked hubby for a list of all the food trucks that visit his building, and furnished that to our building manager, and now I no longer had to be jealous that my husband gets such a variety of lunch options, every day. So like I said, I was super ecstatic to see them at lunch time. I ordered my pizza: Sawzeech - sausage with pickled chiles Sangwich - pastrami, pickles and mustard BAE - basically a BEC on pizza dough with everything bagel seasoning on the crust I loved the Sangwich. The pastrami and mustard drizzle were great and the toppings were nice. The Sawzeech was OK. The BAE should not have been served to me. It's funny because a lady that ordered before me was wondering if her pizza got burned and the guy showed her the bottom of the crust and said that it was flavor. You could smell the burnt dough when my pizza was done and when I got inside my office and opened the box, it's obvious that it bubbled up during the bake and the crust burned significantly. Yes, a little char does add to the flavor, but my pizza crust and the seasoning on it just tasted acrid, like ash. The toppings also migrated to one side of the pizza during the cook which kind of sucked. This was not the pizza I remembered getting by my husband's job. I was disappointed but was unable to bring it back, as I was in the middle of seeing patients, so I wasn't even able to see the pizza until some time after receiving it. It took a while to get the pizza because it's freshly made but they see what they're serving and they should refire when they mess up. The pizzas are 16/17 dollars per pie. read more

Awesome pizza that doesn't need to be delivered? They bring the pizza oven to your doorstep! Who would have thought to load up a wood fired pizza oven into a truck? At a request from one of our managers who knows Dave the Pizzaguy, Abeetz drove up to our office and parked it behind a shady spot during lunch. The call went out to everybody in the building and a line quickly formed. I can't say that the process was the most efficient, but you can't rush a good pizza. The menu has a bunch of offbeat choices including the Bae, which you can eat for breakfast as well as standard sausage and pepperoni choices with some cute names like the Mutzie, the Sangwich or the Sawzeech. There's even the Pinnoli dessert pizza with cannoli cream, chocolate shavings on a churro crust. Whaaaa??? I ended up with the White Beater due to its catchy (albeit controversial) name. With it's goat cheese, ricotta and mozzarella, qualified for it's name. The spicy honey drizzle really kicked it up and why not pair it up with some bacon! The sweet honey paired with the salty, smoky bacon was unreal! They really have to make it a standard. This was my favorite food truck ever. I really liked how they were parked in front of the Bronx Brewery because it's an industrial area far from any restaurants. The brewery also only sells beer. This is why food trucks were invented. It was a very charming mom and son operation. Their food has a traditional Italian influence with updated, innovative recipes. I got the avocado toast pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust had a toast-like texture that matched well. For a dollar upgrade I got fresh--and very high quality--ricotta added. I also could have gotten goat cheese. The girls sitting next to me in the brewery ordered it after they saw what I got. Hopefully they will join you at your next event. read more

We are located in an office park with about 200 employees total in Westchester County. We were looking for some lunch options during the summer months, and we thought a food truck would be great because it would get everyone outside. Dave and the crew showed up and kept the pies flying. They were able to handle a steady 2 hour lunch rush with no issues. Lucky to find this food truck at the Beer Garden in Stamford. The owner Dave was really funny and personable. Family-owned and operated, can't beat that. Was there with a group of co-workers and tried 4 pies. All of them had cool names with great flavors. The pepperoni was great and as well as the mushroom and black olive pie. That surprising one was the Sangweech which was like eating a Katz pastrami sandwich on the pizza. The pickles gave it a great kick. The weather reached 105 I believe it was hot and sticky but David and his wife were truly wonderful providing us everything we needed and more. My wife and I were looking for a caterer for our low-key Brooklyn wedding and came across Dave and Abeetz through The Knot. We loved the idea of getting a food truck in front of our venue so we reached out to Dave and were pleasantly surprised by his very affordable rates and just overall communication skills.
