THEY'RE NOT ONLY GREAT PIZZA MAKERS, THEY'RE GOOD HONEST PEOPLE. The regular slice was delicious and cheap!! BUT--- more importantly, when I left my bag and wallet with all of my ID's, money, and beats headphones, I was devastated. However, Pizza King called me, and wrote me a message on facebook saying that they had my bag, and would hold it for me until I could come get it. I don't live in Schenectady, so it took me a couple days to retrieve it, but they held onto it, and very kindly kept me updated so that I would not be worried. Had this pizza a few times in my life. Crust is very good on the pizza. One of the best crusts on pizza in capital region for sure. Their veggie pizza is meh meaning ok but their chicken Marcella pizza is delicious. Highly recommended for a chicken Marcella slice. Very good job pizza king. read more

Ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza , that had literally no bacon , a bunch of cheese and I asked for extra bacon and extra ranch and didn't get it . Ordered hot Buffalo wings for 13$ and they were small wing zings , not crispy and barely hot . Took a hour for the food to come and when I called the restaurant to let them know there wast chicken on the pizza he told me "we put it on there , if you send a picture you won't see it anyways " this place is a joke and literally was the last option for the day . One of my all time favorite pizza places in Schenectady. Come here for the speciality slices, the chicken marsala, eggplant parm, shrimp scampi and the stuffed broccoli are some great options . This is the second best pizza I've ever eaten in my life. No kidding, and I grew up in the suburbs of NJ so trust me.. I've sampled my share of pizza. Pizza king has large slices, gourmet ingredients, creative specialty pies, and a clean comfortable restaurant to sit in. My personal favorites include the cheesesteak pizza (with american cheese, peppers, onions, and beef) and the simple plain slice. Make sure you bring some cash, because they don't accept credit cards. The only thing wrong with this pizzaria is that they essentially run on bankers hours! A young girl tells you she'll "pay add a slice to her order" (even though he has money) you said no, disrespected her & told him to leave!! No explanation given just yelling no for whatever reason. Expensive. Overrated. Mediocre. Cocky. None of the pizza options in Schenectady are very good so I guess this place is best of the worst. It's truly mediocre pizza. Call it gourmet all you want: that doesn't mean that it's great. Like the other places I've been to in Schenectady, the sauce is boring and doesn't stand out. The slices are pretty generous in size, but size alone doesn't mean it's any good. Worse, it's pricey and the woman working the register is the pizza shop version of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi. Listen lady, I know that you think you make the greatest pizza in the history of human civilization, but you don't. I can think of 1001 places that blow Pizza King away, so try to be a little more pleasant to the people burning money in your shop. If I'm craving pizza I'll just take the car ride to Homestyle. I'm a bit of an annoying order-er - I don't like to be helped until I want to be helped, I have a lot of questions, I like to triple check that people understand my order, etc. In short, I'm pretty hard to please, but Pizza King pleased, indeed!!! The employees are so helpful and accommodating and kind, and I really liked my pizza!! I ordered their Chicago-style pizza with tomato sauce, broccoli, and pineapple. It came out PIPING hot and delicious. I've never had Chicago Deep Dish before, so I'm not sure how it compares to traditional Chicago-style, but it was kind of Sicilian-ish. In town for a few weeks and came upon here for lunch today. Great crust, great variety , A+ for the pizza. I had a slice of the Hawaiian with bacon, and was quite satisfied. The sauce was a touch sweeter than I prefer, but the pineapple may have tainted that. I enjoy a nice thin crust that doesn't get overly greasy and limp from grease, this came up great in that. DTAY AWAY!! These people are pigs that wants to steal your money. On Tuesday 1/5 I called and ordered for pick up a mild Buffalo wing pizza from the menu. It was $20.99 and a chicken and broccoli Sicilian pizza. When I get to store the pizzas were ready and waiting. I approached the counter and informed them I was picking up. He began to type my total into the cash register. I noticed him entering $22.99 as one item total. I asked what was that for and he stated that the prices went up. I asked him to show me the change and he couldn't. He looked at his menus in-house and all we at the 20.99 price. Last year when I ordered it was $19.99 and I still had that menu so when I seen the new menus with the $20.99 I knew it was an updated menu. These crocks didn't want to here that. He was charging me for chicken Marsala pizza. I didn't order that. He was really trying his hardest to STEAL $2 from me. Now imagine if they do that to every customer that orders from them. These guys would make an extra paycheck and customers have no clue that these guys are taking money right out of their pockets. After I caught them trying to steal from me they turned red like oh shit I got caught. My original total before I said anything was about $41.50. After I questioned the charge my new total was around $46.50. Now they had to tack on charges for "extra toppings and credit card charge " It was late and I had hungry kids waiting for dinner or I would have told them to keep it. Absolutely the best pizza. I've been getting pizza from Pizza King and John since they had first come to Schenectady. Their baked ziti pizza is awesome, made with real garlic and perfectly al dente and not overcooked. Their garlic knots are delicious with marinara sauce and I always grab an order of them when I'm there. You definitely won't regret getting your pizza from here to eat~! My Credit Card was stolen yesterday by a Mr David Hughes. He has admitted to stealing my card. I contacted Pizza King as a courtesy to let them know that a charge made at their establishement was disputed and would not be paid. I also advised the manager that the back of my card clearly states "See ID" and that was obviously not honored. My attempt to be courteous in advising them in advance resulted in a rude "call your bank" and then a hang up. Quite rude. I visited Schenectady for a conference at Union College and was so lucky to stumble across Pizza King. I cannot believe how good the crust and sauces were. I have ordered a pizza online and was already paid for my boyfriend went to pick it up and they was giving him a hard time and they wouldn't give him the order.
