I have switched from Ghrir competition because of terrible greasy pizza. It had been years since I tried the hut due to a very bad experience, but I have to say the food seems to have improved since that day. The customer service for walk ins is not very welcoming snd in fact the last two visits to pick up my order, the female that worked there was simply very unfriendly like we were imposing on her by visiting the restaurant. I set that aside and am thankful for a more consistent quality of food and although I don't eat pizza as much as I used to we still go there a couple of time per month. read more

The server was very nice. We very much appreciated the smile, politeness, and attentiveness... However, we got home to find that our pizzas were NOT as we had ordered them; we both ordered pan crust and got hand-tossed. Also, we were charged $1.80 for extra mushrooms on mine, and I received barely even the average (1x) amount of mushrooms. We have experienced BOTH these errors REPEATEDLY now at the Pierre Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut is known for its pan crust, and if there is some reason pan crust can't be made, this should be known to customers ahead of time, taken off the menu and website. If there is some limit to the number of mushrooms per pizza, extra mushrooms should also be removed as an option on the website, let alone be charged to customers who order it. The service from the drive-thru guy was outstanding, and the food was hot and tasty, but the order was wrong because our requests were disregarded--and this is the last time. If customers' orders cannot be met, you need to let them know ahead of time. We used to love Pizza Hut but won't be back because we can't trust we will get what we ask and pay for. read more

every order always has something wrong, mainly it is forgotten items, one time as the delivery driver is telling me how they don't forget stuff I ask where my bread sticks were that obviously were forgotten, no reply, I'll be back with them, an hour later they come back, , receipts of what I order and workers saying I didn't order that, ordered wings and they show up with no sauce, pizza that is made not to order, list goes on and on, and then they say oh we will credit it to you for the mistake , credit never shows up, sucks rolling the dice hoping you get half of what you order right read more

I don't really watch baseball, but I'm all too familiar with the saying "three strikes and you're out". Oh man, it's rare but Pizza Hut is one of the few places that has earned this unfortunate reputation. I have given this establishment multiple opportunities, and time and time again they have disappointed . The first time our family box was literally delivered with a fold in the middle of the box. We called and they said nothing could be done unless we wanted to take the pizza (that was inedible back). Did I mention when they delivered it, they put it on the floor despite having set up a table for it? Yikes. Another time we ordered at an off time and it took 1.5 hours to get delivered. It was so long I actually called to see if they forgot about us. Finally, the last time we ordered, everyone who ate the pizza had food poisoning the following day. Coincidence? I think not. There's so many great places to eat in Pierre, I recommend choosing a local business that takes pride in what they do. read more

Tim the general manager delivered our pizza personally tonight, and what a treat to receive friendly service for such a dedicated young man. He briefly discussed some of the local challenges and some of the strategies he's executed to take them on. Very impressive. Nice to see the boss taking ownership and filling in wherever needed. Service is horrible. No quality control of what is delivered. Delivery times may take up to three hours. More than once they haven't been able to find the delivery address. I would just avoid this Pizza Hut at all costs. The pizza itself is on par with other Pizza Huts I have ordered from. Just stay away. read more

The pizza is good the staff is great but I think they should step up the kids area cause it's not that great.

This place is hit and miss! One time everything is fresh and the next time not so much. This evening we ordered carry out. We were told 15-20 minutes. We arrived and paid. Were then informed it would be another 14 minutes. We waited and after an hour total we went in and asked for our money back. Come to find out our pizza was in the warmer the whole time. Very disappointed! Also side note I'm sure at least 2 of the employees were high as they could barely open their eyes. read more

Really bad! We order pizza and they said 45 minutes and that was fine it turned out to be 2 hours!! And it wasn't even hour pizza they got mixed up somewhere then we tried again the next day and the same thing happened that's not our pizza took 2 hours and on hold for 30 minutes when calling to see if they left yet also they burnt it! Well, I can't review the food as when we arrived at the Lunch Buffet at noon and there was no pizza OR Salad on the buffet AT 12:00pm. Now there were about 7 tables of patrons waiting for the pizza to be brought out. Needless to say we left after 20 minutes and nothing brought out. Oh well...... read more

This business is hit and miss. There are times when the pizza is awesome, and times when it is less then up to par. We always do delivery and it is usually delivered in a very reasonable manner. I think it is just like any other business in Pierre and employees are not all that dependable and new ones are always being trained. I called for delivery for large party. After 90 minutes they called to tell me that the delivery persons car broke down and they were waiting for the driver to get back on the road. After an additional 30 minutes, they called back to tell me that if I would come to tge restaraunt to pick up my order, that there would be no charge...ok well sounded more then fair to me I went to pick up the order...I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. It didn't happen, so I said I'm so n si here to pick up my order. They did in fact give the was hole order to me for free! Got home and served food, and the pizza was about the worst pizza I have ever had in my 55 years on this earth. Buyer beware is all I have to say. I will never eat there again! read more

The pizza was good. Wait time hardly any. It was really not busy. The past two visits the staff seemed weird. They'd ask you what you wanted to drink before you even sat down. We placed our order at 7:30pm. At 8:30pm, we called and was told the driver probably delivered our pizza to someone else in error, so they would make us another one. Called again around 9:15pm and this time was told someone will be right over and they would give us credit for the trouble. Just gave kids a bath and put them to bed with PB&J sandwich. They advertize as the best salad bar in the city. They're right! Nice presentation, lots of toppings, great variety, even things I wouldn't have thought go on a salad. (You can put those on the side if you want.) If there was a negative, it might be the raisins were a little clumped together. But is that unusual for raisins? Come on!) Pizza's not bad either. We went for the buffet. So the salad and pizza was all you can eat. The buffet included pasta and the Hut's great cinnamon sticks. The topping on the whole evening: It's the best-priced buffet around: just $6.29! Oh, wait! The whole atmosphere includes great staff. read more

Lousy management, this place doesn't have delivery drivers most nights. Out of the last 3 orders, we order 2 mediums for Pizza night, and consistently have had toppings missing, the actual SAUCE left off, and when calling to complain, the newest manager asked us what we wanted done about it, as she couldn't send another that night as the driver had just quit. When they CAN deliver, the wait can be in excess of 2 - 3 hours. We thought maybe we could help, so we applied. My girlfriend applied for wait staff, I applied as cook and delivery driver. No calls, nothing. When we went in and asked, the assistant manager told us the manager was off for the week, and that she said she had called both of us and didn't get an answer or voice mail. Overall, this Pizza Hut is awful. The food is sub-par because it is rarely made right. The management needs to be fired and new, better, experienced management needs to be hired. read more

I think I must not be the norm....I have had very good luck with Pizza Hut, and actually prefer it to the other options in Pierre. They have had their ups and downs, but I think any place does. I always do delivery and it is always there in a decent time and the drivers are very friendly. The pizzas are always hot and taste wonderful....think I may order tonight!!! read more

A very good example of a very bad restaurant! This Pizza Hut has the worst service that I have ever seen. After waiting an hour the delivery guy shows up with the wrong pizza and then comes back a half hour later. I think that you can expect some sort of standard when you order food. read more

Expected delivery was 6:09pm They just called at 6:45pm and said they couldn't deliver. They would give me a discount if I came to get it. I said I'm sorry, but that's not an option. She said well then what do you expect me to do? I said deliver my pizza? She said I can't do that, I said well then cancel the order. She said well it's already made.
