I mean- it's not the best but it'll fill you up. Lexi from the waitstaff was sooooo kind and sweet. We loved her! I figured as a buffet there would be more options but it's pretty small. read more

The food was great. Service was a little slow. But the waitress was nice. And the booths weren't the cleanest. Overall I would go here again read more

We have been to a lot of pizza ranches and this is by far the worst one ever. First of all I also talked to other customers from the area and they said that they never are ready for customers. I waited with my husband and grandsons for both pizza and chicken when we first got there, and we got there 20 minutes after they opened and they were not busy and I was told this is very typical. Never saw a manager and if they were there they did not do their job. Not only was there staff in the kitchen with long hair with no cap on but his hair was hanging. Also I heard a lot of playing around and saw soap bubbles being played with and 1 employee just on his phone. If you have just kids working nothing gets done. We like to stop in Pierre to eat and we have stopped here before but it was never as bad as this time. Come on now...do better read more

This is the worst Pizza Ranch I have ever ordered from, the manager Heather is the worstest person to deal with, horrible customer service they messed up two times on our order over the phone and has the audacity to tell me why don't I get off and order it myself there why even have the option for over the phone ordering then and instead of apologizing for their mistake for the second time she starts yelling at me and starts telling me to hold on and ends up hanging up on me ends up not answering my phone call after I keep trying to get her to make it right what the heck is she in charge for I am taking this to the highest level I'm going to go to whoever I have to that woman needs to get fired! I'm definitely taking this to corporate. Just if you don't want to be disappointed don't worry from here do not eat here it's the worst place I've ever dealt with! read more

We ordered a carry out over the internet. We were a little confused how to get there since it was dark and no signage by the road. Inside looked very clean and nicely decorated. Young lady up front ask our name and got our pizza. At our hotel we devoured our large pizza with pepperoni and sausage and an order of ranch sticks. Both were super good. If we lived in the area I would be here every other day. read more

Pizza Ranch - Pizza Near Me - Fort Pierre, South Dakota

Super busy when we were in there and they struggled keeping food out on the buffet on the weekend. Seemed to only have 3 people working, pretty pricey overall.. food was good when we got some. read more

Very mass produced taste. Tried pizza, crust was clearly mass produced like a Lunchables pizza. Chicken was OK, not good, not inedible but not worth the price. Ranch sticks are fine. Also not inedible if you're hungry. Just a very mediocre taste from what I got. It may have been a locational thing but it's probably like this throughout the franchise. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the customer service (inside pickup) was prompt and very nice. I don't dislike the location or service I received, just the companies food. There are better options in town with "handmade" characteristics for far less. I won't be returning, but appreciate the customer service I received. read more

The pizza was ok. Not great salad bar was ok. Lots of items to choose from. Staff were nice. The pizza sauce just lacked something. It was just ok and the pizza bar. Pizza cloves were not warm or hot they were cool which made me give 3 stars I liked the staff. Peace read more

Not bad. Always good chicken if it's available. We usually get there around 5:30 and hard to find food so it's a hit n miss trying to get what you like on your plate. People line up for the chicken and as soon as the first batch hits the pan, 5:50 or do, it's gone instantly and still more in line waiting for second batch. It has gotten much more popular since reopening at full capacity. I'm happy for the owner but really wish they would get here early enough to open the doors with food available for patrons! I think they should have everything stalked on the floor ready to feed upon opening. Just my opinion. read more

The gluten sensitive pizza was fantastic. I had to ask whether or not it was gluten free because it was the first time I have had a thicker, softer GF pizza crust. We are not diagnosed celiac, just gluten insensitive. read more

The service was friendly and the pizza was good. We called ahead and it was hot and ready when we got there to pick it up. Also, atmosphere for kids when eating in. read more

This place is amazing the food is great and the staff is okay. The soup isn't that great.A couple tips to Pizza Ranch is you should really add other flavors to the ice cream machine and possibly add a toping bar. read more

Great food. Pizza was good, chicken had good flavor. Salad bar was good. Soft serve ice cream was good. Thumbs up by us.

The amount of time it has taken to get desert pizza is horrendous, I waited at the counter for 10 minutes and I have still gotten none. They do not have an arcade, and they have no chicken fingers! The staff was lovely though. read more

Stopped on our way through for supper. Wasn't overly busy, but a lot of tables had not been wiped off. The floors under the tables were dirty, area where there was a local "reader" was quite dusty. While we were there only one new pizza was put out, chicken looked like it had just been put out, so that was good. Was not impressed with the staff. read more

Yesterday evening we showed up with a group of 15 to 20 people and the lady at the front counter was super rude immediately off the bat when we walked in, and did not want to serve our group because there was so many of us, and the buffet was closing in about seven minutes. We would have been understanding however, as mentioned the gal was super rude and very offputting and that's not how you treat someone when they're coming into your store to give you their business. They would've made 100+ dollars off of our group and would've had plenty of time to throw pizzas in for us before the buffet closed down. I worked at Rapid City's Pizza Ranch for a year and it didn't matter what time the group showed up, even if it was one minute before the buffet closed down, we still served the group. That's how you get good business and good customers who continue to come back. We will not be back to pizza Ranch after a baseball game considering no one wanted to serve us in the first place. Again, we should have been served and there was no reason for the rude and childish behavior coming from the front counter. read more

Food is ok. Service is atrocious. Stopped in and ordered a four piece meal. I wanted two legs two thighs ranch potatoe wedges Cole slaw and a biscuit. I got one leg one thigh two wings and a breast which I don't eat. Regular potato wedges and a biscuit. They are very chinsy with the Cole slaw a little cup with two bites. when I got there, there was one person working the register. He took off and disappeared after taking the person's order in front of me.vstood there for about ten minutes with no sign of any employee. After they took my order it took about twenty minutes to get it. All in all unless you are going to eat in at the buffet. Order your food by phone ahead of time and check your order before you leave. read more

Kind of a shrug of the shoulders with this place. The buffet was ok, where out of a lot of options but had a few choices. Not impressed with the quality of the pizza as it was just ok. The fried chicken was juicy and ok. While place was average. read more

We eat here one to two times per month and order delivery about the same. On this particular occasion there was good snd not so good. The front of house staff seemed more efficient in pickIng up used plates for sure and the Native lady was very friendly. The cashier was not very professional but I guess he did his job. The food was very sparse this vusit. They were out of Eve everything from chicken to pizzas to desserts. I had a salad for starters and it was stocked ok but manY items missing. Went for pizza round and only older sausage pizza and Tuscan something or rather which was new for me and by tHe way super delicious. But that was it. And when I wEnt back for another slice of the Tuscan what're it was, it was gone. Chicken and sides were pretty much empty mmmmm whole visit although they did bring a batch of chicken out, it was gone by the time I made a trip to the station. My 3 year old was screaming for desserT pizza but there was none to be had. We waiiyed for 15 minutes but none ever came out so we settled for soft serve anD called it a night. Will think twice about choosing this option our next time out. Sorry pizza ranch. You didn't cut the mustard this time around. On their behalf, they are usually more efficient and a great bargain, just not this time. read more

Do not visit this location. I came across several dirty dishes. When I brought it to the attention of the manager she was very dismissive and said that I was the only one finding these dirty dishes. I mean there was pizza stuck to plates, and I'm talking chunks of soggy pizza crust stuck between stacks of plates. And dirt on the rim. Instead of taking all the plates back the manager just took the ones that looked dirty and left the rest. Never will I come to this location again. read more

The pizza was lousy. The salad bar was also lousy. The staff were not very special as well. Also the location is poor. It's just not for me.

I've gone for the pizza buffet so there's not that much to expect. They do have a lot of varieties of pizza, but the quality is not amazing. In terms of items typical pizza as well as fried chicken and rotating other styles of chicken. There is a soup of the day as well as a salad bar. The desserts are typical Pizza Ranch and are pizzaesque fruit desserts as well as soft serve. If you're looking for a family friendly place with lots of pizza then this will do, but if you want better quality and a more private experience you may want to look else where. read more

Would be nice just one time to get the order right. Not only is management rude but there is a hungry family with the wrong order. It's not hard, it's your only job. Customer orders food, costumer pays for food and staff hands you the order. It's not hard to do but for some reason this establishment can not get there end done correctly. I would eat at the buffet but the four items they have are usually out. Avoiding this place would be the best decision you can make. There are plenty of other establishments that will take your money. Spend your money elsewhere read more

Avoid it. Pizza is less than frozen quality. Chicken us over salted. Sides are gross. I pulled out several dirty forks before finding a clean one. Strange vibe inside the place. Plus $33 for 3 adults. Pretty pricey to leave hungry. Would not go back. read more

Don't be put off by the flies, the buffet is pretty decent even if they did forget any Italian dressing at the salad bar. There is also a mysterious slippery spot on the floor (a few actually) so watch your step. Most of the pizza has onions on it, but if you don't like onions (I hate them) it's fine because they're tasteless. Bon Appetit! read more

Part of me wants to give this 5 stars. It's a great place to get better-than-average pizza chain quality, and terrefic prices. I only eat there when I'm in Pierre on hunting trips, so I'm starving when I get in at night - which skews my perspective. I have to remember that I'm holding 5 stars for truly fantastic food, and this place isn't the French Laundry. But the pizza is very good, the buffet concept is great - they'll make any pizza you like and put it out on the buffet for you and everyone else to enjoy - it just takes 7 minutes. If you're coming in hungry, this is a 5-star place. read more

Went here Friday night about 2 hours before it closed. We bought two buffetts. Found that both the pizza bar and chicken were near empty or gone for well over an hour before closing. What remained was stale and picked over. About 30 people were still in the restaraunt, despite the employees not filling the buffett. People were complaining, but it fell on deaf ears. The employees seemed much more interested in going home than working or explaining what was going on to hungry customers. We paid full price and had a salad and some potatoes. That's it. I would not recommend going here for dinner unless all you want is an expensive salad. read more

I got the "The Texan". It is a taco pizza. It is good, but I would recommend that they add more meat and less lettuce. The slices need to be bigger and/or the crust crispier. It's basically impossible to keep everything on the slice as you eat it. Good potential though. Hopefully they take my advice, and I'd be back often. read more

We stopped by this restaurant after we explored the famous annual Motorcycle gathering event at the Sturgis, The salad bar was my favorite place after few days dining outside without enough greens. The fried chickens tasted good, delicious and juicy. You could order your own pizza, which was already included in the buffet costs. Recommended. read more

Great variety of pizza. Can be a little slow keeping the buffet filled when busy.

I only had delivery with this Pizza Ranch but everything tasted awesome!! We ordered a TON of pizza and my group got the Canadian Bacon pizza. Not a huge fan of Canadian Bacon but I don't believe there was much in the pizza or it was just too dark and I was too hungry to even notice. read more

I want to thank Pizza Ranch for a great dining experience. The food was hot and delicious, and the Owners and Crew are friendly and attentive. I reccomend checking out this restaurant to enjoy comfort foods in a great family friendly, country place!!!! Keep it up Pizza Ranch! read more

This place is filthy, just gross. Staff is rude and need more training! Found a dead bug in the salad to top the visit off! Should have listened to intuition and walked out as soon as we walked in! Problem is, there aren't many GF options in this area while traveling thru! read more

You know it pretty bad when one of your employees, that I might sat has not been a member of the DAVA AUXILIARY for more then 5 years horns in on a semi private party and invites himself, half the members did not want him there. Great Pizza, large selection on the buffet. Friendly staff.

Excellent buffet: pizza, fried chicken, vegs, potatoes, dessert pizzas, ice cream, drinks. Prior reviews are bunk. Nice place.

When I was at pizza ranch they said that they were closed but they still made us food for to go.Friendly people, good food and good service
