The sausage pizza we had was amazing and if we had gotten a smaller one, we probably would've been fighting over who got the last piece. The cheesy garlic bread was good and we were getting delivery from not that far away so maybe that's why but the fried mushrooms and french fries that we had in our delivery order were still really really tasty even though those kinds of things can cool off en route. I will definitely try this place the next time I'm back near here.

They have a special where you can choose two or more items for $6.99. They canceled the order because they didn't have the dough to make the stuffed cheesy bread. They said they tried to call but I didn't get a phone call. I had to replace the order and I got a crispy thin crust Alfredo sauce with chicken and spinach square cut, and the loaded chicken bites with pineapple and jalapeño. I got there when it just came out of the oven and in the way home I tried the pizza and the crust was out of this world. It was fresh and very crispy. The pizza was super hot and it was sooo good. The loaded chicken bites were a very large serving feeding at least 2-3 people. These particular bites were SPICY!! I took off al the jalapeños and it still was spicy. It had melted crispy cheese and ranch drizzle ontop too. The chicken Bites were tender and fresh. They're also coated with a breading. They weren't greasy at all. I recommend both pizza and bites. Easy drive up window and I chose the option to pay but you can also pay through the app. Using the app also earned me points good toward free food in the future. also ordered the loaded tots with bacon crispy melted cheese and bbq sauce drizzled with ranch ontop. They were also fresh but not crispy easily can feed 2-3 people. We still had some leftovers with 4 people eating on it. Staff was friendly and speedy. I will be going back. We were greeted warmly, asked for a booth and were seated promptly. Ordered beverages and each tried a side salad: one the house w/shaved fennel, the other the starter Italian salad (oh my, both so good!). Loving extra thin crust, we ordered their newer Chicago Tavern Style (different from their tradition thin crust). CRAVE-ABLE! We ordered the Pepperoni Chicago Classic (pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions) and added sausage and green olives to it. I kid you not, the BEST pizza we've had in this area for a very long time! Their extra thin crust is made on premises (not premade elsewhere as so many do), and comes in 12, 14, and 16 inch sizes. Highly recommend!

Giradano's (Dupont Road) - first visit after a LONG time away…read more.. It's been six years since I frequented Giradano's on Dupont. I love deep dish pizza. Though I'm not a fan of waiting 45+ minutes for it to bake. And, I've not found value in an expensive Giradano's deep pizza. Hence, we haven't been back. However, on this evening, we wanted pizza and a nice outdoor patio. Giradano's has a nice, comfortable, attractive and covered outdoor patio. Relaxing and cool. Nice street view of Dupont road. The facility is large and seats a LOT of people. It's a great place for large groups! The team here hustled and helped each other out. Our waiter Michael did an outstanding job - very friendly, professional and paced the dinner & refills. We started with "The Best" bruschetta. We loved the smooth and creamy mozzarella cheese. You could swear that it was just made fresh. The tomatoes were very fresh tasting. The balsamic sauce was a bit thicker and bolder in taste - very good! The outside of the bread was firm but not crunchy. The inside was soft and easily cut with a fork. This isn't the "best" bruschetta I've ever had. It was very good though! On this visit we went with The Special pizza, 14 inch, with the traditional thin crust for $27.75 - yes, still expensive. And, it took waiter said it would take 45+ minutes to cook - same as a deep dish pizza. The pizza is very attractive looking. Love the rich red pizza sauce look and covering of mozzarella cheese. The crust has a pretty golden brown color and the toppings peak through the cheese! The crust used for the thin crust is the same as the deep dish. I found the crust to taste similar to a biscuit - not my taste. It was firm in texture when cooked but not crispy - liked that! The pizza sauce has a rich and thick red appearance. It is sweet to taste but doesn't come off thick. I found it to be a little bit watery - not my expectation. The watery consistency reduced the tomato and Italian seasoning flavors. The moist sauce somewhat accented the biscuit crust and topping flavors. I just thought it could have been much better if it were thicker in consistency. The green peppers, onions and mushrooms were sautéed. This gives them a bit more flavor and helped them blend with the cheese nicely. The Special pizza has sausage whereas the Chicago Classic has pepperoni. I was really hoping for a spicy and bold sausage flavor. What I got was a very mild meat taste. I was disappointed with the amount of sausage on the pizza as well - especially since it was the only meat. Overall we loved the patio and the relaxing atmosphere. The bruschetta was very good. The thin crust pizza was good and pricey. The team on this night was excellent!

I will give them this--there were plenty of options to choose from on the menu and the crust flavorings, which is apparently their claim to fame, were plentiful. Wouldn't recommend, wouldn't order from them again. Maybe the subs, salads, or wings are worth it? I personally wouldn't bother finding out for myself after having had the pizza and breadsticks but if you're an adrenaline junkie who loves taking risks, go ahead and try Howie's.

Good ole pizzeria in Garrett…read more.. We've seen a lot of press about CP lately, so the ole ball and chain wanted to give it a Go... Good pizza. It's kind of light, fluffy, and crispy all in one. I really liked their red sauce and they load the pizzas up with toppings. Our bill was $60 for two pies (we brought home one of them because those suckers are yuuuuge), a house salad, and two local crafties... That's a win in today's restaurant price gouging world. The restaurant itself is rather plain looking, but it's clean and the service was good... While I don't think CP is on the same level as Oley's, 800 Degrees, or Three Fires, we'll come back because it's respectable pizza. Dave Portnoy 7.7

Coterie Pizza (hwy 327, Garrett, Indiana) - for delicious stone fired pizza and relaxed/casual…read moredining We made a return trip to Coterie after a 3 year absence. Coterie is easy to find. Head north on 327...about 15 minutes north of Dupont Road. They are located in a strip mall, just as you get into town, on the west side of the road. There is plenty of easy-access parking. The restaurant is smaller as it holds about 50 people. It can be busy. There are ample tables for 4 people and some for parties of 8-10 people. The menu is fairly small with only 8 specialty pizzas. Only two items on the appetizer menu - the beer cheese is a MUST try. The pizzas seem pretty reasonable priced for a 12 inch stone fired pizza - $13.45. Coterie has self serve beverage service. You can choose from one of five local beers - and pay by the ounce. Or you can fill up your cup at the soda/tea center. The team here is very friendly and helpful. They all work hard to make sure you have a good customer experience - which we did! Plenty of kitchen help to keep the food rolling..especially at peak diner time! Here is a run down on the items we ordered: -Caprese salad: smaller dish for $5.99. All cherry tomatoes and basil were very fresh and cool to taste. The mozzarella cheese and toppings blended well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar flavors. Easy to share. -Beer Cheese ($6.99): a layer of pizza dough rolled out thin and baked to a slightly chewy texture. The dough has a slight garlicky flavor and cut into nice sized shareable pieces. The beer cheese is smooth, creamy and dreamy! You get hints of beer amongst the mild cheese flavors. The sauce is a bit thin and simply addicting! -Chicken bruschetta pizza: The golden brown crust is a little tough as it is well baked but still chewable. No special flavors are added to the crust. The bottom was soft and white. The chicken bruschetta is not your typical pizza creation. The tomato sauce was rather thin and only added a mild tomato taste zip. The chicken was tender and picked up the flavors that surrounded it nicely. The cherry tomatoes and basil toppings were very fresh and tasty. They blended really well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar drizzles. The fresh mozzarella cheese was sprinkled in enough to help hold all the toppings in place. If you liked the Coterie Caprese salad...you would really like the chicken bruschetta pizza!
