My story: When I was visiting Vancouver, Canada, there was a street vendor who served "Japanese hot dogs". They were quite scrumptious, and I was jealous that the city residents could have these fancy dogs anytime they pleased. I am jelly no more. While touring the Wellfield Botanical Gardens during their special "Tulips and Tunes" festival, the Wiener Shack made their presence known. I stopped by their booth to grab a drink (a bottle of Boylan birch beer), and decided to return. Upon coming back, I tried the "Vortex". Ahh, the Vortex. What a fantastic adventure of a hot dog. Take a delightfully seasoned hot dog, add Sargento's provolone cheese, grilled onions, a dash of some raspberry something-or-other sauce, and pack it all into... a glazed twist doughnut. I know what you're thinking: WTF. Well, I guarantee you that it was most delicious. Also, the guy and lady who was running the stand were very friendly and helped me with recommendations. And I can't believe that this is right here in Goshen. I WILL be checking out their storefront sometime.

I took a seat at one of the stools at the counter. About those........this place has been around since the early 1900s, and you can tell. The stools were the size to fit people back then. My big ass barely fit on it, and this old timer next to me went to sit down, and missed the stool completely and almost took a tumble (thankfully he did not fall down). I placed my order for 2 hot dogs and a large Dr Pepper. How were they? Delicious! Coney Dogs- These dogs come with a loose meat style coney sauce, mustard and onions all on a soft steamed bun. The most awesome part, they are only $2.00 each! You can't get anything these days for $2.00. The dogs were delicious! I can see how they have been around 100+ years.
