The 20" pie is gargantuan nearly requiring extra help to lift it into my car. Overall, the pie was tasty and a decent value although I don't know what the competition offers since they were closed on the night I ordered. Apparently, takeout only so I was bewildered as to why the joint appeared unkempt and not clean. I also felt the ingredients were marginal so we're losing stars quickly. Way better than the national chains, however, that seduce the masses into believing a $6 cheese-stuffed crust and all that nonsense is pizza. SOS with tomato sauce, IMO. Cold night? Don't wanna cook? Hot pizza got your mouth watering? My "Give 'em a whirl" meter says dial one up for you!

Ordered takeout and service was extremely fast and friendly. Overall, this is one of the better pizzas I have had in the area. "Thin" crust here is not actually thin. It's just a thinner hand tossed. But it was very well topped. Only main complaint is with the addition of the garlic. They use pre minced jarred garlic and you can taste the jar. If it were fresh garlic it would make a huge difference. Overall- pretty good pie! Would try again.

Although it looked fantastic, this was the coldest pizza I've ever picked up. Ordered online with no green peppers and green rather than black olives. Disregarded the order. For 26 bucks they should provide a better product.

Home of humongous pizza! I made the mistake of purchasing a large pizza for 3 of us - that sucker fed us for days! I did think $20 for pizza was expensive but then realized I had literally purchased a gigantic pizza! $20 was a deal! The dough is hand-made and fresh and the pepperoni some of the best in the area. If you are feeling indulgent you must try their Chicago style deep dish pizza. It is so good and tastes like a real Chicago pizza. The smallest size will easily feed 2-3 people. Just make sure to allow 45 minutes before you pick up since they take longer to bake. The breadsticks with marina are also a favorite of ours.

In town on business and I decided I did not want to go out to eat, so I ordered in. I'm so glad I did the pizza here is awesome! The weight of the pizza really took me by surprise, and once I open the box I realize why it was so heavy. This pie must of had a quarter of an inch of mozzarella cheese all over the top of it, straight to the edge of a crust. There were so much cheese that the toppings of pineapple and meatball that I got were not even visible. Between the taste, amount of toppings, and level of helpfulness from the delivery driver this is a must-have pizza experience. There is one other Pizza place that I would rank alongside with this one as my top favorite and it's located 30 minutes outside of Coldwater, Michigan.

What happened to the Massimo's I knew and loved? What is this thin crust chintzy topping with sauce that tasted like it was from a can of spaghetti o's ? Massimos used to make pizza like Bruno's but clearly those days are long gone. Seems like everything has changed but the price. Absolutely NO reason to return here! You don't mess with a guys pizza.

Enjoyed Massimos little over a year ago and decided to try them again since I've moved closer to Goshen. After this experience, I will stick with our usual pizza place. Placed an online order stating I wanted pepp/saus on one half and ham/pineapple on the other. Even triple checked before placing and once I received the receipt. Submitted order online anf noticed it didn't tell me a ready time so i had to call and ask. Went and picked up pizza, made the unfortunate mistake of not checking it before I left and got home to find ALL of the toppings on one side with just cheese on the other! So I immediately called and explained what we received and that I triple checked the order online. Lady said ok we can remake it for you I said great, how long will it take? She answered 45 minutes which is what I waited for the original order! I said wait, so you messed up my order and I have to wait the full time again? Then I heard mumbling and she came back and said ok we can have it ready in 25 minutes. Better answer. I returned to pick up my corrected order only to be asked if I knew what went wrong with the order.....umm yea! I already told your employee on the phone! So I had to bring up the order on my phone, as well as the photo I took of the pizza I received (I ate some of the cheese to hold me over as I'm 4 months pregnant and was hungry). Then I was told oh ok we can give you the remake....damn straight you can!! Definitely wont be back especially after realizing the correcred pizza we received definitely lacked quality and taste.

We tried Massimo's last night and were absolutely pleased.

I got severe food poisoning from this restaurant. I'm thinking it was from the salad. Will never go back.

Great pizza but I wouldn't order Chicago style again from them. Way too much dough in the crust.

Food is great. Flat breads and appetizers and free bingo once a month. Wide is the chef and husband…read moreretired cop. Nice people. Need to ask for handicap assistance but then they will open another door for you

If I could give negative stars, I wouldn't hesitate--I'd be digging for a minus-five option…read more Last night at 1056 Brewery started off exactly how you hope a night out with friends goes--great company, lots of laughs, even a little bingo thrown in for fun. Unfortunately, that perfect evening didn't just take a turn... it drove straight off a cliff. Seven of us ordered appetizers and full meals, and everything hit the table looking and tasting great--except for one unfortunate burger that was so thoroughly charred it could've doubled as a hockey puck. Our friend tried to power through it (because who wants to complain?), but eventually realized it just wasn't edible. They politely asked if it could be remade or replaced. Simple enough, right? Wrong. About 20 minutes later--after everyone else had finished eating--we weren't met with a replacement, but with what I can only assume was the owner, who approached with an accusatory tone that immediately made the entire table uncomfortable. Instead of resolving the issue quietly, she marched back from the kitchen holding the same burnt burger and presented it like courtroom evidence, as if we were on trial for daring to send it back. At that point, we were all sitting there in disbelief. Was this really happening? Then came the comment: essentially suggesting that next time, we should say something before eating most of it--despite the fact that our group had spent plenty on food and drinks and clearly wasn't angling for a free burger. The implication alone was enough to sour the entire experience. To "fix" things, she offered to comp the burger (which we had already declined) and, as we were leaving, handed over a $20 gift card--as if that could somehow erase the awkwardness, embarrassment, and frankly rude treatment we had just experienced. It couldn't. What should have been a minor kitchen mistake turned into a bizarre and uncomfortable scene, all because of how it was handled. Mistakes happen--burnt burgers happen--but treating paying customers like they're trying to pull one over on you? That's a choice. It's a real shame, because the night had been so enjoyable up until that moment. But after witnessing that level of unprofessional and unpleasant behavior, it's hard to imagine returning. Do better. Seriously.
