I went there with my mom or ordered pizza from there when I was little. I'm now 58 years old in North Carolina and haven't had it since I was about 13! I still remember it being the best pizza I've ever had! I asked the owner once what the secret was and he told me head cheese. If so, they nailed it! read more

Ordered 2 large pizzas. The young man answering the phone was clearly new. He asked me if my address was correct. I said, no. Provided him my phone number 4 times along with address. Delivery driver calls, ask what apartment im in. I explain, your not at my house! Call the manager. He says, sorry the kids new. Call me back if your not happy! How about, im not happy now! My pizzas are on the other side of town. Gavin, the manager could have cared less! Absolutely poor service. read more

Service and staff at concord were horrid including the manager. Food was cold and awful they love making excuses but not making it right. They keep going through drivers and staff its a wonder they stay open. The staple of elkhart is going down the drain fast. read more

Spent 60 dollars on food tonight just for my pizza to be burnt and my cheese bread uneditable. The foils they wrapped it in got stuck to the top and wouldn't come off of the cheese. As a single mom eating out doesn't get to happen often at our house and usually from here it's not to upsetting but tonight I wasn't please read more

Still my go to pizza place. Seems like we frequent the place every couple of weeks. It's always busy that definitely counts for something.

Now. We love Volcanos. Been a customer for prob 30-35 years. Great food, great folks. Today I order spaghetti and 2 meatballs. That normally comes with bread. In my car, I notice there's no bread in the bag. The manager is walking out. I ask him about the missing bread. "Yeah it should have bread hang on, I'll go in and get it". Comes back out. They thought you just ordered 2 meatballs. Hence, no bread. Unbeknownst to me; there's also no spaghetti in the container. No big deal, just a miscommunication. They give me some spaghetti in another bag. get home. I still have NO FUCKING bread in this bag either. Now. That's on me. I guess. I should've have checked the 2nd bag. But c'mon guys. You do this everyday. For what? 50 years or more now? Jeeze. I'll be back. Because you're Volcanos. just an off day. Make it right on my next visit and I'll give you the stars you deserve. Normally. read more

The meatball and Stromboli sandwiches are a family favorite for 35 years and such a great price! We get them pretty regularly even though the kids are grown. read more

Best pizza in Elkhart. We had in-laws over for dinner from Travers City and they wanted Italian so we opted for Volcanos pizza. They raved about the sausage/mushroom pizza They loved the sauce loved the sausage loved the mushrooms. read more

I drove 350 miles for a pizza and the Hot Ham and cheese. Only wish they would open in Scottsdale AZ.

EVERYTHING is fantastic, food and employees. I have lunch or dinner from there at least once a week.

I have been eating this great pizza since I was in junior high school. The recipe never changes. love it

Meatball sandwiches are awesome! The food was ready quickly. No place to eat, only take out. Not much ambiance.

SUE IS RUDE!!!!! I have always loved Volcano. I grew up on it! However, tonight when we got home with our order it was wrong. When I called them it was ummm what did you get and what did you order. Mind you this was after they pulled out the order ticket. I asked them if they could remake the sandwiches that were wrong and deliver them but of course I was told no because it was too far for them to deliver to. I asked to speak to a manager and the young man on the phone said I am a manager so, I asked the question why do you keep putting me on hold to talk to someone else? anyway I had the unpleasant experience of speaking to Sue who has worked there for 34 years. After arguing with her She told me that I could come and take her job and she also started to blame me for the order being wrong. I don't understand how someone who has been in the industry for 34 years has made it this far acting so rude. Needless to say they will not get another cent of my hard earned money! Doesn't matter how much I love their food. They don't appreciate any of their customers and it shows by the way the speak to people! read more

Delicious and friendly! We called and spoke to Sue. She was helpful and was even able to get us an order of breadsticks for us. (When the breadsticks sell out, they are out for the day) Our order was ready on time and correct. Sue and everyone else made sure we had everything for our company lunch! Thanks! read more

Volcano Pizza - The best!! - Italian Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

Elkhart legendary establishment. Pizza is amazing, breadsticks and sandwiches are even better! Should be nothing but 5 stars!

We love Volcano pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and their sandwiches! We have any combination of these regularly. When family members come back home for a visit, they always request it for a meal! We order from all 3 locations, depending on where we are going to be eating. Volcano was the only Italian food that I had has a child, growing up. As a wife, it became a staple in our house. As a mother, our children grew up to love it too. Now as a grandmother, all our grandchildren love it too! read more

Delicious family owned pizza joint. The food and service is quick and quality . The pizzas are uniquely perfect. Cut into strips with really great tasting tomato sauce. The cheese is melted perfectly and lots of it. The pepperoni and mushrooms are so good here too on the pizza. Not to much sauce either which is a plus! The spaghetti and meatballs is worth it as well. Huge portions and the meatballs are about 2" in diameter, the meatballs taste soooo good, real quality meat. The sauce is similar to the pizza and taste great but with more spices in it like basil. The spaghetti itself taste great too! The Italian bread here is great for dipping and fresh tasting. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting great quality Italian tasting pizza and spaghetti and it's not a big chain pizza establishment so u can taste the fresh difference:) can't wait for the next time! Check out Volcano !!! Mmmm so tasty! read more

The best pizza in Elkhart (if you get it from the Easy Shopping Center location. I've never went to the Concord one, but do not go to the one on the Northside. Although the manager said every pizza has the same amount of everything every time and the recipes are always he same, our experience has been a negative one. So now we always use the one located at the Easy Shopping Center. read more

Volcano takes me back to my earliest memories growing up in Elkhart. I can remember going here as a special treat as a very young child in the early 1970's. The GL Perry Variety store was in the same plaza at that time, as well as Wilt's grocery store and Drake's department store. There was also a bank just to the left of Volcano. Any other Elkhart natives remember those old stores? So, I'm probably emotionally biased on this, but despite that, Volcano is incredible pizza. I pray this place never goes out of business. The Easy Shopping Place area has certainly declined over the years, but Volcano seems to be the one constant in an ever-changing universe. read more

This is the best pizza I've ever had. We lived in Elkhart about 14 years ago and I fell in love and have craved it for that long. We finally made it back and got to let my kids try the famous Volcano's pizza. It was just as we remembered, so so good!! Needless to say, the kids are fans now also! We stick with the basics pepperoni, ham, but beef is our favorite. We ordered a large side of marinara, the marinara is SOOO yummy!! I can't imagine anyone rating it under 5 stars! read more

This is my favorite place in Elkhart to get pizza. The vegetables are always fresh and delicious. I also love their sandwiches. I usually get the Stromboli sandwich or the meatball sandwich. Both are consistently delicious. There is no dine-in. read more

Great pizza New York flavor and style. Best pizza in Indiana I am from California and our pizza is not that great we don't have a style.

We ordered a pizza, salad & sandwich and were told it would be an hour. One hour and 30 minutes later I called and they said it was on the way. At 2 hours I called and spoke to the manager. He asked to get the address again. They had the phone number, if they had a problem with the address they should have called to verify. He said they would remake it and send it out. At this point it would have been well over 2 hours after being told one hour. I asked if he expected us to pay full price and he offered to refund the credit card. He said it would be another 30 minutes. Finally after nearly 3 hours the food arrived. The pizza clearly wasn't fresh, the sandwich was bordering on soggy and the salad didn't arrive but the dressing did. Absolutely wouldn't cross the street for this again. If I could give it negative stars I would. Ps. We are a mile away ....it's a 28 minute walk. read more

The best breadsticks in the area. The pizza is phenomenal as well. Great grinders and salads are also available

I am a past employee - Great pizza and sandwiches; my favorite sausage any ware (shredded). FYI: They use whole milk cheese very tasty, but can be heavy. read more

Literally the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Crust is flat (but not in a good thin pizza way), when handed over to us it had apparently been tipped to its side and the entirety of cheese/sauce/toppings slid to one side. We tried to order breadsticks and were told "we don't make breadsticks on the weekend" Uh, what? The fact that Elkhart voted this their best pizza is a sad commentary on Elkhart. Do yourself a favor and go to Iechyd das a couple blocks over and get pizza worth eating. read more

Volcano Pizza - a pizza in a pizza box - Italian Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

Love Volcanos but really wish they would up their sizes. I believe they only have 12"and 14" unless it has changed. Would like to see their large be at least 18" if not 20". 14", 16", and 18" is kind of standard. read more

If it were possible to give a negative star rating i would. The toppings on my pizza were the worst quality toppings ever !!! Pizza at Westville tastes better then they pizza ,I ordered the spaghetti with italian sausage abd instead of ground sausage they used a under italian polish !!!???? WORST PIZZA IN ELKHART PERIOD !!! read more

A different tasting pizza than I'm used too, the Italian sausage was finely ground but I enjoyed it.

Too greasy for my liking. Not sure if that's because the pepperoni was under the cheese or what. But it say in a puddle of Grease.

The only decent thing we had was the salad. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Sauce is bland, and the meatballs taste like they've been in the freezer...dry. The pizza- thin crust, but is doughy, and not crisp as you would expect it to be. read more

Came back into town and ordered take out on two occasions last month. This is a meal all of us salivate about since we no longer live in the area. Hot ham and cheeses, meatballs and cheese and of course the infamous pizza. Thanks for allowing multiple generations of our families to relive our childhood memories. We look forward to visiting next time. read more
