We stopped here for breakfast one morning and we were not disappointed. The food was all hot and delicious and they had a pumpkin butter for our biscuits that was awesome! We will definitely go back if we are in that area again read more

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and buy a few goodie's. A chicken salad sandwich and open face sloppy Joe for lunch and a tray of iced cinnamon rolls and a loaf of Dutch apple bread. Our sandwiches were average in both taste and size. Just over priced for what you get. We waited to get home to get into the iced cinnamon rolls and Dutch apple bread. We opened the cinnamon rolls first. They were soft but not much cinnamon swirled inside with a strong yeast flavor which neither of us liked much. Next we tried the Dutch Apple bread. Now that was extremely good. We will be back to try out their other goodies. read more

We had a great experience with Baker's Nook. Ordered their catering for a breakfast with just 3 days notice. They were friendly and easy to work with. The offer delivery for a nominal fee and delivered on time. The food we ordered, breakfast casseroles, cinnamon rolls, and fruit were plenty and delicious! Priced right, great service and food! I highly recommend Baker's Nook. read more

We gave this a try today and it was fantastic! The staff were very helpful and patient with us. I had a LOT of questions since we had never been there. I ordered a toasted meatloaf with cheese sandwich, potato salad, lemonade and a large slice of chocolate cream pie for $15! Everything was good and homemade -- even the bread! My daughter had a BLT sandwich, Mac& cheese, lemonade and a piece of Texas sheet cake for $15! She said it was the best BLT she's ever had. They also have a nice selection of food to go, whole pies, desserts, jams and jellies, and more. We stumbled across this place and I'm glad we did. We will be back! read more

Baker's Nook Cafe - Tomato tortellini - Absolutely delicious! - Bakeries Near Me - Elkhart, Indiana

I was excited about going in there as I have never been. Bought some cut out cookies. Took a bite ad got a long brown hair in my mouth from the icing. I know things like this happen but whoever does the baking an decorating should probably brush their clothes off and wear a hairnet. Thank you read more

Food and service were both excellent. We were there for breakfast. Reasonably priced and tasteful

Fantastic food at a good price. Food was homemade, fresh. And loved that there is freezer food available to purchase.

Excellent smiling, inviting staff. Cute atmosphere. Very good homemade food. I had a great homemade cinnamon muffin and a good breakfast sandwich on homemade bread. My husband had a nice plate of biscuits and gravy. They also have homemade to go items. Make a stop! read more

It really stinks to have to update a review and dock stars rather than adding them. We used to love this place, but in the past few years, things have gone downhill. The care is not there anymore. I've ordered wraps that come broken and impossible to eat without a fork....completely negating the point of getting a wrap, and today we order sandwiches without certain ingredients....both came with what we didn't want. I don't know how the communication is so difficult when we were the only ones there at the time. I hope the workers get there stuff together because I cannot be the only patron noticing the steady decline. read more

I ordered breakfast boxes for my office last week. They were amazing! The biscuits that they used on the sandwiches were the best I've ever had. The muffin and yogurt that were included were delicious as well. Sarah was lovely to work with, I will definitely be back! read more

Check out the menu. Selection is amazing. We came in for coffee and a muffin and the young lady was kind enough to give us a big giant delicious cinnamon roll. The salads look delicious, the sandwiches look incredible, and the coffee was high quality!! Would definitely go back again and again!! Service was the best ever!!! read more

Another W from Baker's Nook! I have been to this restaurant about a half dozen times & always had excellent service. It is Amish owned, meaning that everything in their cafe/bakery is homemade. The bread, the soups, the sweets.. all of it. They offer a wide variety of snacks (we love the chex mix!) & handmade accessories for purchase as well. The interior itself is decorated with a homey, farm feel & everything is very clean. Our experience today was a first for carryout from here. My daughter ordered to-go this afternoon & it was perfect. I got the You Pick 2 combo, I chose a BLT (w/ extra bacon) & a cup of the Sodbuster soup. With your meal comes your choice of dessert, my daughter picked me out some kind of rich, gooey peanut butter bar. I mean it when I say that EVERYTHING is delicious! I have never left here still feeling hungry or dissatisfied. If you haven't already, stop in and give them a try! I promise you WON'T be disappointed! :D read more

Very slow in service. Waited over 30 minutes for breakfast food. Then went home and was in the bathroom the rest of the day. Called and talked to them. Said it wasn't there fault. Took no responsibility for my lost day. Beware of the gravy. read more

Bakers Nook catered our Thanksgiving dishes this year. It was absolutely delicious. Perfect in every way. The Turkey was THE best I've ever had. Cut into perfectly-sized pieces, juicy, Coated in a gravy that was so savory. It was just amazing. I can't say enough good things here. You just have to try them one year. read more

Oh my, what a find! Delicious food for dine-in and other food frozen or baked to-go! Jams too. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Wish I lived closer. read more

Very servicable breakfast. Great atmosphere, ladies working there were very nice and cheerful and the trainee did a great job. My eggs sausage and toast did the job, since we're doing a road trip I wished I could've eaten in as barely anyone was in the restaurant. They sell a lot of pies and other goodies to bake and take home. And crocheted potholders! If I'm ever back in Indiana this would be a nice place to sit down and brunch. read more

Bubble tea was crap. Was just iced tea mixed with mango flavoring and tapioca balls immediately popped in my mouth wothought chewing them.

Spectacular Amish style food and desserts!!! Excellent service with a very pleasant smile. Nothing here has not been absolutely delicious!!

We happened upon Baker's Nook while looking for a different cafe. It's in a strip mall, and the location definitely takes from the ambiance, but the food and service were great. Order from the counter, self-serve coffee, no wait staff, bakery case of pastries. Food was fast and hot. Reasonable prices. Try the egg bake. read more

Ever since we happened upon the Baker's Nook at a Chamber Business Expo, we have been in love. Their cupcakes, which you should order ahead if you want a variety or large quantity, are delicious and can be filled with fruit or cream or oreos. Their breakfast and lunch are basic, home cooked items, but great. No waitstaff, order at the counter from some of the most helpful and lovely people who quickly get orders ready to go. There is plenty of seating for breakfast or lunch. Now, I learn that they are doing Paczki for the locals that are Polish or simply love to partake on Paczki Day (AKA Shrove Tuesday). Wonderful! read more

Read a review about how good the biscuits and gravy were as well as the baked oatmeal. My husband and I went for breakfast and ordered both and shared them. I would give the oatmeal a 6 out of 10 and the biscuits and gravy a 5 out of 10. Also, the young lady at the counter acted like she didn't want to be bothered. Don't waste your time. Not worth it! read more

I come to this place pretty frequent for lunch the staff knows my regular meal and are always super nice and helpful. The wait times even when busy are not bad at all. Their desserts are awesome and they have plenty to pick from. Any picky person like myself can find something they will like! :) read more
