I waited on the phone for a bit, but on hold with them is an open line and you can hear how busy they are. So on hold is a whole different experience with them. I would really like to know why when you order a pizza from there how they can put a $2 charge for cutting it in squares? I mean, come one it doesn't take ant longer to cut it that way than a regular cut. Also, they don't tell you it's costs more for cutting it that way till you get in there to pick up your order. I would never go back there so beware. If they ask how you want it cut, don't say in squares...what a flicking rip off. Are they putting this in their pockets? Beginning to wonder if quality has slid at this store, and prices have risen. I've been eating Bruno's pizza for three years. Went there today and got the 14 inch deluxe. Something wasn't right when I picked up the pizza box. The traditional Bruno's heft wasn't there. Got home and the pizza had half the cheese and toppings on it that I'm used to seeing. Lemme start over. I began typing this and thought it was reckless of me to post a review on Yelp without at least contacting the store first and telling them about my experience. The manager literally laughed at me and took zero accountability for a pizza I drove 45 minutes each way to pick up. Im Incensed and livid. I don't mind paying $38 for a 14 inch pizza if it's worth it and Bruno's have always been worth it to me until now. I will never go back there again. Not the same pizza ! The dry crust seemed like a different recipe. The sauce was flavorless and minimal. We had to add seasoning to our pizza at home. This used to be my favorite pizza and now not so much. read more

Huge, cheesy, inexpensive greasy pizza. I can't complain! Some might say TOO cheesy, but that someone isn't me. I wish they had more toppings, but still seemed to have the best variety out of the non-chain pizza places we considered ordering from. (Why is it so hard to find a vegetable topping that isn't mushroom or olives? Garlic, spinach, ANY other toppings are great. I had not had a Bruno's pizza in over 10 years. While in the area, we decided to order pizza. Ordering from Bruno's was easy. I was told it would be 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes. Wow - that's a long time for pizza. True to their word, 1 hour 20 minutes later, we had HOT pizza! We ordered the 20" - this thing is HUGE. They make a larger one as well. The pizza was very good. When not having a true Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, we prefer a thinner crust than this Bruno's pie, but we were well pleased with the flavor of this pizza as well as the toppings (sausage, pepperoni and mushroom). We had plenty of leftovers and they reheated in the oven well. We'd order from Bruno's again but we'd ask if they have a thin crust version. read more

Expensive but worth EVERY penny. My favorite pizza ever!!! but my go-to is the Lasagna dinner. It is AMAZING! You can tell it's homemade and the sauce is slow cooked. The portion is HUGE and comes with a large salad and homemade bread. It's easily enough for 2 people! I order it at least twice a month and they deliver it right to me. I called today at 11am to order TWO 24" pizzas for a 6pm pick up, order was ready and right. My wife and I were feeding around 30 kids in our church youth group in Tippecanoe, IN We drove about 1 hour south and the pizza was still hot and held together. We're usually only in Indiana a few times a year and this is probably the third time we've ordered from Bruno's at different times of day. Never had the pleasure of experiencing the dine in ( Per Bacco) side of the business, Bruno's is basically a take out window with a ton of choices. All three times we ordered the smallest pizza 14" and walked away with a monster size pizza. We actually we're really hungry the first time and thought we'd also share a sandwich while sharing a pizza not knowing how huge it was! The sandwich was really tasty and a meal in itself. The pizza always has TONS of cheese so if you don't prefer that definitely ask for easy cheese because they pile it on! All of the toppings are under the cheese which is fine with us, they put a nice amount and the sauce is pretty tasty. If my daughter was with us we would have tried the tiramisu because it looked delicious, but knowing we weren't going to be able to finish dinner I didn't bother. Staff has always been extra helpful and polite, really surprised they don't have more reviews since they always seem to have quite a bit of business. We'll definitely be back! read more

A little silly when all the other good pizza places in town have combination pricing. Example: veggie, combo (Better off going to Columbo's, Milano's, Antonio's, etc). Don't get overcharged. The pizza almost always good...but we just got a meatball sub with our pizza (half sub for $8!!!), I was expecting a great sub for that price. Oh, you also get French fries with that sub too. The meat was cold, soft, and tasteless. The fries were greasy and soggy. Not worth the money!!! Actually it was quite gross. I had a Bruno's stuffed pizza a couple of days ago courtesy of my Uncle who visits quite often. Needless to say I was pretty impressed by the magnitude of the pizza! Usually pizza that big is either way under cooked or horribly burned, but this pizza was seriously amazing. The toppings were filled straight through to edge of the crust and the sauce was tangy. Stopping through Elkhart for work and discovered this gem of a place. They delivered to my hotel quick and food was hot! Had a 14" Pizza (2 hungry guys couldn't finish half of it and usually easily devour a large elsewhere). Also tried their Philly Cheesesteak - good stuff! We absolutely love this pizza. It's true you can get cheaper pizza from other places, but if you want great-tasting pizza that is absolutely covered with toppings, this is what you want. Most people I know eat two slices and are pretty full. We get this at work when 10 - 20 of us want to sit down and have lunch together. All of us chip in and get at least one 24" pizza (maybe more depending on how many people). I usually call the day before or first thing when they open. So, plan ahead because they take a little more time making their pizza, but you can certainly tell the difference when you eat it. And, it may be more expensive than the "fast food" pizza, but it tastes better, and it is full of toppings that will fill you up more quickly. read more
