Went on a busy Friday evening, had reservations which evidently is a must, we had a short wait for our table. The Lakeside is a casual yet upscale restaurant that clearly caters to the local lake people. Beautiful restaurant and decor. Servers were friendly, not out of your way friendly (but again it was busy). Our table ordered drinks which took awhile to receive. Ordered appetizers, salads and entrees at the same time seeing that they were slow. The shareable salad never made it to the table, this was unfortunate, we were hungry and looking forward to it, but asked them to take it off our order since the entrees were delivered instead. We had several shareable small plates (the tomato tart was our fav) and the wasabi crusted salmon and filet were amazing as well for mains! Reservations had us seated immediately upon arrival. We started with a crab dip. Creamy, cheesy, plenty of crab baked to a bubbly top, with fresh baked bread, really delicious! The menu is an offering of everything you look forward to trying on your next visit. We had gnocchi with shrimp, the gnocchi was light and melt in your mouth delicious, the shrimp were juicy, grilled lightly, and seasoned well. The menu mentioned vodka sauce, the sauce that shared the plate was by itself complex, rich and at the same time very light. We also chose the BiBamBop which had all the flavors of Korea, crunchy with veggies, beef sliced thin, rice, the flavors kept coming. We were well attended to by our waitress who made great recommendations, thank you very much. The ambiance was full of people enjoying their meals. I'm so happy to have this place in syracuse! It's a much needed addition to our home town. Fantastic food, good service, great vibe! For an appetizer - try the fish bites - they melt in your mouth!!! The dates are pretty good but I didn't love them. For dinner, the salmon was phenomenal! I also LOVE the Bibimbap - it is amazing. Kelly's house made kimchi is one of a kind. Prices for dinner are spendy for Syracuse. We spent around $100 per person and that included a drink or two, sharing a couple appetizers dinner, and sharing a dessert. Free street parking outside. I highly recommend this place when you come to northern Indiana, you've got to have lunch for dinner here. read more

Dinner at Kelly Jae's is always a great decision. Their food is stellar, and the bar knows how to make a very good cocktail too. Menu is always rotating, which is fun and impressive that their consistent quality of dish and tastiness never wavers. Also, the service is always solid. Everyone is very friendly. It can sometimes be tough to get a dinner reservation for the weekend in the summer, but they do their best to accommodate. Lively atmosphere, but never over the top. read more

We had reservations Saturday night to celebrate my birthday.We received 3 confirmations ,one within 2 hours of our 6:30 reservation.We got there at 6:30 on September 7 and the doors were locked.There were no signs on the door and phone calls went to recording. Again we were sent text within 2 hours reminding us of our reservations,I saved all text .These text came from your service provider Toast . At this late time on Saturday we could not find a good restaurant to celebrate.We made several calls and finally had to drive to Warsaw for an average meal. Your lack of customer service and consideration ruined the evening,we have dined with you several times. Customers never had recourse for this type of lack of customer care prior to social media but times have changed. My S/O made reservations for my birthday as we had just driven in from DC and I couldn't have had a more stellar experience. Table by the window? Check. Perfect martini? Check. The food was phenomenal, everything had wonderful, balanced flavor and the large plate portions were generous. I love this place! The menu always has a wide variety of things to chose from. I could eat here every day and never get tired of it. The golden beet salad is amazing and the pork loin is also a go to. The atmosphere is great although it can get a bit loud when it's full. They are also open for lunch on Wednesday Thursday and Friday in the summer so I can get a healthy lunch in this town! So glad they are here!!!! read more

This place is great! If you like loud 80s hip hop, you will love this place. The atmosphere is absolutely the best. You walk in on the main level through anthropology whiskey bar. The restaurant is downstairs from the bar (kind of like an old-time speakeasy). The food is delicious. You've got to try the ramen, It's the best I've had. We made reservations for 12! people on Thursday for an early Friday night rare family dinner with people from my 90 year old Mom to my 4 year old niece. They were so lovely and patient with all of us. The food was fantastic! Everything from the baked brie, tuna, salads, halibut, peanut butter cheesecake and key lime pie was amazing. The staff was so considerate of food allergies. We happened to mention my mother was turning 90. They brought out a candle with dessert and sang happy birthday. We enjoy sharing all of our plates, which makes this a great restaurant to bring a group of people who like trying different flavors. I was very excited to come here for the first time. However I will say that I will likely not return. The food was good, but I feel that the quality does not reflect the 5 star pricing. Everything is a la carte, which I am okay with, but you better bring it if you are arranging your menu/pricing in that fashion. Furthermore, I ordered a dirty Tito's martini with blue cheese olives. My itemized bill showed $14.50 for my martini PLUS $3.00 for the blue cheese olives. What??! Olives in a martini are standard, not an upcharge. Again, the food was good, but just that; good. Overall, we were disappointed. However, our bartender/server Cassy was an absolute delight an provided excellent service!! read more
