We had friendly and attentive service and the food came out hot and quickly. There is a small patio out front on the sidewalk with three or four tables. My husband said he is going to be dreaming about the peaches and cream French toast for days to come. I also enjoyed the BAART, a riff on the BLT with avocado and arugula. Would definitely return.

This place was bustling!! It seems like a very popular spot! We just had the two of us and were seated at a small two person table between two other close tables - located alongside a long booth bench against the wall that breaks up into individual seating spots. This was totally fine for our breakfast that morning but it's not something I'd prefer if you like your privacy in conversation or otherwise. ;) The service was slow to start but after our waitress came she was mostly attentive the rest of our meal. We ordered 2 coffees. These were stronger and much more delicious than your average "diner cup"!! The staff offered a couple of refills throughout our time. I really loved the simplicity of the menu! There are options with a great variety, but it's still concise and not overwhelming!! Our dishes came out within 10 minutes of ordering, extremely fast and was surprising! My husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros with chorizo and he enjoyed it! The flavors were bold and the plate was pleasing to the eyes except for the avocado which was looked like it was quickly turning. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict and had super high expectations for this entree!! It looked so beautiful upon arrival but when I began eating I quickly realized the dish was quite cool! My first half came with a well done poached egg which was disappointing. The second piece was cooked perfectly but was also just not very warm. The hollandaise sauce had wonderful flavor, but again, just wasn't warm - it seemed like the dish had maybe been sitting. I think this dish could be outstanding at the right temperature!! The potatoes that accompany this entree were a little dry for my liking but my husband thought they were good!! :) We noticed other tables with special lattes and several parties being served decadent looking sweet breakfast options - those all looked delicious!! There was a super kind and outgoing waitress serving nearby tables, explaining all kinds of special choices, like lovely latte options that were being offered that morning. The way she so kindly described everything sounded delicious but unfortunately our waitress didn't welcome our table with that same level of hospitality. What we saw being ordered by those nearby was met with great happiness when it arrived to them!! :)

Sorry but the girls serving tables are a bit clueless or should I say unaware? No service until we waved someone down. And when I sent back a dirty cup I heard them say it was just a stain. And they didn't get our order right. Now the place looks clean, cool and a great little spot, and the one saving grace was the girl behind the bar that acted like the manager who came up to ask about service when she noticed we were less than thrilled, that's why the 2 stars. The food was ok, nothing special.... Place does have a lot of potential. A little more training would go a long way here. We might try again.

Somehow spent $45 on sub par pancakes and country fried steak with sausage gravy?? Server didn't even look at us for 20 minutes and they weren't what you would call "busy". My pancakes were served on a square plate so everything went everywhere once you put syrup on them so I was sticky the entire time with minimal effort. Food wasn't what you would call awesome unless you don't know how to cook and don't know what food is supposed to taste like. Probably won't attend again. I can buy overpriced breakfast food elsewhere

Our days were filled with nature hikes,…read morepuzzle building, craft making, swimming in the pool, toboggan rides and eating in the hotel's restaurant. The pros: -lovely library room - best views in the hotel, cozy fireplace and apparently, we were the only ones excited about the library despite the hotel being fully booked -the craft room was hopping! It felt like this room should take over the lackluster/outdated game room based on the strong audience (it was hard to find a spot given how many folks showed up at 4:30 when the craft room opened). They offer ceramic painting, wood items, etc. at an affordable price point. -you can't go wrong with the toboggan rides (its what their most known for) -lovely hiking trails and fresh air The cons: -Our hotel room was easily over 80 degrees with no option to turn it down (despite it being less than ten degrees outside, we were all struggling to sleep due to the temperature) -the game room and pool could use some serious attention - both felt outdated and dirty -the restaurant felt like it had a lot of room for improvement. It was a buffet during both of our visits and there was always a long line of folks waiting to pay, be seated, etc. despite their seeming to be plenty of staff. They also weren't keeping up on bussing tables, etc. It felt like leadership/direction was lacking from this room. Ah, it feels like with some small tweaks and updates, this place would be a blowout five stars.
