The food was absolutely fantastic. Pizza Hut continues to outshine every other pizza place in Auburn. I walked in and was sat immediately by the nicest young lady at the table of MY choice. She was very kind and made sure to check in multiple times for anything that I needed. Not only was the service amazing, the food was just as good. I ordered 8 boneless wings and received 10! They tasted absolutely amazing and I also got a small Barbecue Chicken pizza off of their specialty menu and it blew me away. The way the chicken was seasoned along with the sweet barbecue made my mouth feel fantastic. The food came out hot, but not too hot which allowed me to start eating as soon as I got it. My whole family each ordered the new "Melts" that just come out. Firstly, the melts are extremely crispy, if you don't like crisp these are not for you. Secondly, we tried to customize the melts for 3 family members. The manger said they don't customize them, "it just gets crazy". My husband wanted the meat lovers melt, he wanted no bacon. He can't eat bacon at all. My daughter wanted just a just a cheese melt. In which they don't carry at all. Nope, she had to get a pepperoni one & remove the pepperoni to only have cheese. Well once the pepperoni was removed there was no cheese left. Her's went straight into the trash. I ordered the meat lovers melt, asking to remove the Italian sausage, subbing more pepperoni. Again no. Another thing, the bacon on the meat lovers melt is absolutely horrible. It's so grissley and chewy. The bacon is absolutely disgusting. We will NOT order these again. 3 of out 6 went straight to the trash can. The salad bar is so TALL, you can't reach the back of the bar at all. I'm 5' 5" & bruised my ribs even trying. Epic fail Pizza Hut! The bar is 1/4th the size of the previous bar, before the remodel. We definitely won't order the melts again, or getting the salad bar. read more

We ate here Friday night. Even though they were busy (two cars ahead of me and two cars immediately behind me) the food was the best we have ever had. The young female at the drive through window was prompt, pleasant, courteous, and thorough. The wings I are were perfectly cooked, perfectly sauced, big and meaty. The taco pizza we enjoyed was likewise cooked perfectly as was the cheesy garlic bread. My whole family made satisfactory comments about the food that were unprompted and honest. You know how it goes, Pizza Hut's are all pretty consistent when it comes to the food, and I would usually put the food at a 3 star.. It's good in a pinch, but your not going to feel like a superstar after you eat it. But it's the pizza I grew up having in my small town! Now helping family move, we were in a pinch and wanted delivery so who do you call... You guessed it. They make the pizza vegan for me, and I do love those Cinnamon sticks that they can also make vegan. The food was delivered fast and fresh and what make this a 4 star spot is the service was great, and done with a big smile! They demolished the original Auburn Pizza Hut and replaced it with a cookie cutter chain building. We finally were able to check it out this weekend. And I doubt we will be back. Though the old building was a bit outdated, it did have some ambience. Many good memories of gathering with friends and family there. Now it feels as though you are eating under the equivalent of stadium lighting, with the constant humming of what I imagine to be the exhaust system to the kitchen. I would say the current ambience could be described as stadium/factory with limited seating.Service was slow, food was slow in arriving. My wings were satisfactory, though it would have been nice if my ranch dressing had been included rather than needing to be requested twice. Might be nice to include some celery as well. Our sandwich was good. The salad bar that used to be a highlight and brought in many customers is gone. It was replaced with a very basic, bland and hard to reach "bar" tucked against a wall.In summary, our visits to eat inside at the new Pizza Hut are one and done. To the old Pizza Hut, we say RIP. To the new facility we say , "what were you thinking?!". read more

I normally stay away from Pizza Huts. On the whole, their food is just not very tasty, too greasy, and nothing to write home about. However, I always make an exception for the Pizza Huts in Auburn and Kendallville. For some reason, their food is always GOOD. Rumor has it that these two Pizza Huts are owned by the same person, and that this person has different franchise relationship with Pizza Hut that allows his restaurants more liberties. I don't know if this is true or not, but it would explain the quality difference. In addition to much better food, these Pizza Huts are also much cleaner than their counterparts elsewhere, and also feel "brighter" (I particularly like the Garden Room at the Auburn location). The service also always seems higher quality than other Pizza Huts. Bottom line: If you normally avoid Pizza Hut, don't avoid this location. read more

The reason why the Pizza Huts in Kendalville, Ft wayne,Auburn,Angola, are so good because the are shingled Brown roofs Pizza Huts, these are the original chain pizza huts their food is better, the Red Roof pizza huts are franchise pizza huts and they are not as good, and yes there is a difference,the food at this pizza hut in auburn is great, the staff is awesome and they take pride in preparing their food,we drive all the way from muncie to go to this pizza hut. read more

So I don't usually bother to write reviews for chain restaurants, and I don't often frequent them. What I experienced today has me stunned. I travel regionally for work and stop in a Pizza Hut lunch buffet 1-2 times a month because of convenience and time. So today I stopped in Auburn, and this place runs like a well oiled machine. I wish they had name tags, or if they did, I couldn't read them. My service was great, but what I really noticed was the guy running in between. He ripped his pants getting pizzas out to hand to servers. He didn't let that stop him. He constantly was filling pizzas, breadsticks, and pastas. He carefully took inventory of the buffet. He even noticed after I had trouble getting a slice because it wasn't cut through, and followed behind me and made sure that specific pizza was cut through on all slices before combining it with the pie next to it. A little boy wanted plain cheese and he stopped by the table to serve the boy and chat for a couple seconds. He rang people up at the register. He smiled the entire time. This is a chain restaurant that something is going right. He seemed to enjoy his job. He was everywhere! The pizza never was low like most Pizza Hut lunch buffets. Everything was piping hot and fresh. The selection was wide. Wow. Just wow. I'm very impressed my mustached friend, you did a wonderful job!
