Amazing steak tacos. I was able to have them exactly the way I like them. The guacamole was amazing as well with the chips.

The portion sizes were extremely small and it appears two different types of chicken were used. The chicken was overcooked , tough, and looked like it had been sitting for a while. The nachos were absolutely horrible and I do not recommend spending money on these as I could have made better nachos at home. Suggestion use queso for the nachos instead of sprinkling shredded cheese on top of the nachos and putting them in the microwave . Our initial experiences were much better and as another reviewer posted it depends on who prepares your order. We will be skipping Hot Head for a while. read more

Friendly service. Their 'Lil burrito at $7.95 is perfectly prized and perfectly portioned...completely delicious! The dining room needed swept and tables cleaned off at 1:15pm on a non-busy Sunday afternoon. I liked having 4 flat screens to watch something different as I ate my meal. First time eating here. The worker asked us if it was our first time and when we said yes, he said he'd talk us through it all. Then he stood there and provided no guidance. Food was cold and not impressive. Not their fault, but there was construction going on in the building next door. The banging on the walls was so loud that it was hard to talk to my husband. DISAPPOINTINGLY EXPENSIVE. On the day of their grand opening, my family and I eagerly decided to stop by, only to be met with the frustrating news that they were not yet open to the public. Instead, they were exclusively serving first responders, which we understood but felt a bit disheartened by. After that initial visit, we decided to give them another chance today, but what a letdown it turned out to be. The prices were astronomical--$15 just for one burrito! By the time we finished ordering for our family of five, our total bill soared to an eye-watering $95. I can't help but feel that with such steep prices, this restaurant simply won't survive in the Auburn area. It's hard to imagine that customers will keep coming back at these rates. Food was super tasty! The spicy meat sauce they have is really good. Also the guac they have is super tasty. I've been to all the burrito places ( chipotle, salsa grill, Moes ) and this place hashad the best tasting food by far, glad I decided to check it out when I stopped in Auburn! Price was also pretty good, if you're on a budget you can get a good sized burrito for under $10, my wife had leftovers for hers. read more

Not recommended. Watched an employee grab food with their bare hands to eat and walked away while acknowledging that they were caught by customers and didn't apologize or pull the food from the bar. This has been reported. read more

The beef anyway is terrible, it's so bland. I will not be going back especially with their prices. Save yourself the hassle and wasted time and money. Taco Bell's food is so much better and cheaper. read more

I ordered 2 crunchy tacos which were $3.50 each. Not even a tsp of meat and one taco only had it on half. Save you money and go to taco bell. The one good thing they had was spicy cheese. When I got home I had to fix something to eat because I was very hungry. The employees were friendly. read more

Not impressed. 3 people working which should have been more than enough staff. Lethargic manager. He was more concerned about talking about Intuit having a data breach to his customers than making my families food. The food was mediocre. Salsa Grill wins for sure. They don't charge for chips.... Table was dirty, chips on the floor in the dinning room. I understand the employees have only worked there for 2 weeks since they just opened. Why didn't Hot Heads train the manager in a different store? For the money, I'd go to Salsa Grill or even Chipotle. Burrito was half rice and half everything else. If I wanted a rice burrito, I can just make that at home. Salsa's were pretty good though... but I had to ask for them when I ordered chips. They didn't ask if I wanted salsa. read more

Terrible service, rude as all heck, and unsanitary. My mom and I went in tonight for the first time (Sunday Dec. 6th), told them no rush as we needed to look at the menu since we'd never been there (we were the only ones there). The guy standing like a statue behind the counter w a mop proceeded to roll his eyes. We brushed it off and said nothing. Ordered an Americana burrito & 2 supreme tacos w queso and chips. The gal started up w the burrito and we realized they had a buy 1 get 1 free deal so we asked for a second burrito, she said sure. Finished the first one, grabbed a bag, the chips & queso, and went to help someone who walked in (understandable we can wait) then the guy asks what we want on the supreme tacos...like idk how about what comes on them? He finishes them, puts it all in the bag and rings us up then said bye, we had to remind them 3 times about the burrito and they both still forgot it and looked at us like we were the annoying ones. So he went to make the 2nd burrito and the customer who walked in called him out for not changing his gloves. "Don't you want to change those?" He responds "well this is for them." She said "I don't care YOU JUST HANDLED MONEY!" (Thank you Queen bc we hadn't realized) we then reminded him for the 2nd time in 1 min what burrito we needed. So after he finishes he drops the burrito into the bag and we left never to return. I can't even remember if he changed his gloves to do the tacos after he had them all over the mop.
