    Spicy Vegetarian pizza
    Carolyn L.

Pizza is alright, one of the better ones around since it's a fire oven. Business is brisk so the pizza is fresh as people are buying constantly. The staff is kept busy churning out pizzas too. Quite a treat to watch them flip the dough. 3 stars due to them backtracking on my request. I asked if I can order 20 pieces of wings with two different flavors. They said yes and this was checked a few times while they keyed in the order. The bill showed separate orders of 10 pieces of wings instead. When I asked about it, they said oh they can't separate the sauce for 20 pieces (an excuse for sure, but it's their business model). The boss (I assumed) then asked what do I want to do. I was half tempted to just cancel the entire thing just for principle sake. Anyway I changed it to just 10 wings in whatever sauce he decided since he never seemed to hear what I said. So just order the pizza or whatever is there and don't make changes. They can't deal with that. Don't order the wings. They are quite sad looking. The wings seemed to be microwaved and then doused with sauce. Not crispy at all like those which were either fried or oven baked.

An authentic Neapolitan Margherita pizza.. more like A SCAM

I feel scammed! Worst pizza I've ever had, and I've eaten gas station pizzas before. Ordered an "authentic" margherita pizza, and was basically given a cheese pizza with sparse mint basil on it. Just under $25 for a thin, oily, cheese pizza. Not to mention overcrowded staff in the back with no masks. I was there for 15 minutes and did not see any of the 8 employees wash their hands although the cash tender was cutting pizzas without gloves!! They also do not sanitize and clean the tables after customers are done using it.

This is my dedicated pizza place. Sometimes, I just want to eat a pizza with lots of sauce (while sneaking in some veggies). This place does just that with their spicy veggie pizza. Its cousin, the spicy beef, is also good as well. It does get busy at times, and you'd have to eat with the pigeons or take it to go. And yes, it'll be best when it's freshly made. Always ask to warm it up in the fire if you're eating it now.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life!!! The smell of this place is tempting and makes you go in every time you walk by the New Westminster skytrain station. The staff is very friendly and there is a great variety of flavors. Whenever you are in New West you must try Pizza Garden.

Having eaten at their downtown and Commercial Drive locations, Parking is available in the New Westminster Station lot directly below. They specialize in Neapolitan style (thin crust) pizza. This means that the pizza won't as be as filling as some of the competitors. But it'll hit the spot. One thing that's nice about this location is that it's open later than most other places in the immediate vicinity. New Westminster shuts down early.

100% not my favourite place. The pizza isn't the best, It's usually lacking spice and the dough can be quite "doughy" usually, or burnt on the bottom. However the location is prime (right under the new west skytrain) so its super convenient when you're too hangry to cook or simply just passing through. The staff are not very friendly and usually if you don't decide what you want right away, they become very dismissive of you and don't bother asking if you want the pizza heated in the oven. There's is plenty of seating which is great because this place is usually pretty packed around dinner time, but it is hotter inside the shop than outside in the summer time. I suggest sitting at the long tables right outside the door that has bench seating. As a bonus in the winter there is heaters above the outside seating... although this isn't part of the pizza shop itself, it's a bonus. This place is great for a last minute dinner decision but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. Especially when it's 2 slices for $5. There's a place at Joyce skytrain that includes a pop or water for $5 as well. Maybe if they were friendlier, paid more attention to the flavour of pizza and gave better deals (only one on right now is 8 slices for $18) then I would re think my point of view.

My new favourite pizza place outside of Naples! We ordered for pickup and the gentleman on the phone was very friendly. The pizza was made super quick, and when I went to pick them up the place was busy! I would definitely recommend this place.

    Burnt bottom crust.

Not recommended. Very inconsistent quality. Several pizzas I have had delivered were burnt on the bottom and the sides of the crust, while the cheese was not baked. Other times the pizza has been swimming in oil. On some occasions the quality was great.

Great as always! I usually get the 2 slices and a pop for $6.50. I've never had pizza from there that I didn't like. The service has always been good!

Simple sliced pizza that they hear up in a brick oven if you want. Much better than other pizza slice places.

Both were absolutely scrumptious. The base was perfectly balanced with salt and softness. The chilli oil was delicious. A bit pricier though. Also, we were not told that chilli oil costs extra, just asked if we wanted it. Our server sat us at the large table because all of the others were full. There is one more waitress who appears to be the boss or manager in some sort. She was quite arrogant when she approached us and told us, "You're not allowed to use all of the seats because this is a community table." We were just settling in and were unaware that it was a community table. I suppose in the service profession, there are better ways to phrase some things than to swoop in and command guests. Despite the fact that the pizza was delicious, we may not want to return to dine in. Service really matters to us. Even if the ambience and food is good, if the service make us feel uncomfortable and offended, it leaves a sour taste in our mouth.

First thing to know is that most people probably come in thinking it's just a pizzeria, but my group came with the knowledge that it's also a board game cafe. You will know once you walk into the dining room and see shelves of card and board games. With that in mind, food was secondary to us. Having a huge collection of board games to enjoy for hours while someone serving you food and drinks was a bonus. The fact that their pizza and caesar salad were all tasty was a plus. I visit Vancouver regularly to see my goddaughters. They both love board games and pizza, so how perfect is this place for us. We have been here a couple time before and we'll be back.

We wanted to order tomato soup, but the service said that it's not recommended. We were surprised but took the suggestion and ordered the two cheese garlic bread instead. Turned out to be a little bland, so we got marinara sauce on the side. Now the pizza, we wanted veggie pizza, but the pizzas they had listed were not exactly what we wanted, so we looked at the right side of the menu and noticed that we could choose toppings and make our own pizza. We thought we understood and the server was trying to tell us that it is better if we order a pizza and then sub out toppings based on the ones that we want. But it didn't make sense, because on the very right was a make your own pizza and it said cheese zero dollars and then the rest would be added on top so we got nine toppings it should be about $18 which would equate the same as a pizza on the left side. So we went ahead with 9 toppings and our pizza ended up being $35. Didn't have the energy to chat with them after, so we just took the L and decided that we would never come back here unless we really wanted to play games. The pesto pasta was nice.

I remember the first time I tried the crust and was literally mind blown that it could be so airy, fluffy and freaking delicious. I'm indifferent about normal bread loafs that are regular or sourdough but holy cow , sourdough pizza crust is something else ! My favorite has been the perfect storm which is as the name says, the perfect amount of saltiness, sweetness, texture and flavour. I usually dont like mushrooms unless the mushrooms have cooked out the moisture a lot and while this pie doesn't look very appealing it is so yummy too. My partner is very pleased thst BBQ chicken is a regularly listed flavour as sometimes you have make it yourself at other restaurants. I will say any of the pizzas even taste good cold/ next day - which I always try to test for pizzas and fried chicken because its a solid place if it tastes good cold !! The parking lot is very small as there is a sushi place and a subway as neighbour's but also because surprisingly it is a Tesla charging hub so many people are just there to charge their car. I want to say there is like 11 spots or so... and not much room to turn in to check for parking and to turn your car around, you'll need some good reverse skills :). I suggest parking across from the gas station or along Bainbridge on the same side as the restaurant. One small thing is that sometimes the pizza slices aren't cut evenly. Like significantly off. For example, this time for each pie( we ordered BBQ chicken and funghi again) there was 1-2 slices that are about the quarter of the pie in size! I am only showing the pizza sizes as the other photos are similar to what have been posted already. One other observation is that there are so many staff working at a time - any time I've picked up , there have been 5 people ? I appreciate a good system but also if there are that many people j expect more perfection - including the pizza slize sizes ! Possibly because of the number of staff, that drives the pricing up a bit as the pies are on the pricier size for a medium sized pizza. I do wish you could order larger sizes as it only comes in one size. In conclusion, even with the small things mentioned, I wouldn't dock any stars because the sourdough is just too worth it to be phased and I have always enjoyed a meal from this place :).
