We've ordered takeout from this place before. Can't remember if we've ever dined in before. This might have been our first time actually dining in the restaurant. We havn't had the pizza from this place very often but I always enjoyed their pizza every time we did order from them. If you sign up with them, you can get a free pizza for your birthday! I came here for dinner with 5 other people and coincidentally it did happen to be close to my birthday so I had received the email from them and was able to redeem it for a free mini pizza! I ordered a mini "Juliet" pizza which has spinach, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, red peppers, roasted kale and seasoned button mushrooms on pesto sauce and finished with a mild goat cheese. It was delicious as usual! For some reason, it didn't taste quite as good to me as it had in the past. I can't quite pinpoint why this is though. I'm not sure if it's cuz the pizza really wasn't as good as it used to be, or if my taste buds have changed. Maybe I've gotten used to higher quality pizzas over the last few years and the crust here doesn't quite compare with some of the other crusts I've gotten used to? Either way, this is still a great place for pizza. Lots of interesting flavors plus classic flavors as well. The "mini" pizza is quite filling for a mini. It was divided into 6 pieces. I ate only 3 pieces and then I was full. It's a spacious restaurant. Great place to go for a casual meal with friends or family. They had a poutine pizza featured. My daughter ordered that one. The gravy made the crust a bit soggy but otherwise, they said it was quite a tasty pizza. Hubby decided to be different and order a sandwich instead of a pizza. He ordered the Cajun Chicken Sub. Wow...it was huge! It comes with a side salad too. Never even knew until now that they had sandwiches at this place. Their menu shows an option called Me-n-Ed's Sub which is a sub sandwich with any two pizza toppings, cheese, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato and onions. I am tempted to come back and try this sandwich sometime after seeing the size of my husband's Cajun Chicken Sub. Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free

I came here for a birthday celebration and had a great time with good food and excellent service. Food: 5/5 I had the chicken pesto pizza and enjoyed it. I would have liked a bit more pesto in the pizza. If you like thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. Others enjoyed their pizza and salads. Service: +5/5 - a big shoutout to Jessica who did an amazing job in keeping 50plus party goers happy with their food & drinks. She deserved a medal and of course a big piece of chocolate birthday cake. Thanks Jessica! Ambiance : 4/5 a nice atmosphere. Family friendly. Nothing fancy. It's clean and tidy. Management was kind enough to give us a reserved area for our party.

    Personal Size Smoked Salmon pizza

Came here recently with a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I had been here a couple of times before, and I always enjoyed the food and casual ambiance. Me-n-Ed's has quite the extensive menu but it feels like a requirement to order from the pizza menu. They had a great selection of sizes and toppings, and I quickly settled on the Smoked Salmon & Roasted Garlic. I don't usually go out for pizza too often, so I was left wondering how big were the respective pizza sizes between mini, small, medium and large. There were no further details on the menu either (some restaurants have the sizes given out in inches) so we had to ask the waitress for the approximate sizes. Unfortunately it looked like there was only one waitress serving all the pizzas in the large restaurant, so we had to wait for awhile before the pizzas started arriving. Smoked salmon is not found in every pizza place, so the salmon plus salty capers and other related toppings made for a very tasty pizza. I'm of the impression there was only one type of crust we could choose (not thin but not pan thick either) and I thought it was a good thickness to hold all the toppings in place without flopping over. Overall I've had a good experience every time I visited Me-n-Ed's in Burnaby, and this time was no different. My only wish is to see a way to add the size measurements onto the menu; it can help the casual pizza diners to make a decision on which size to order.

Came here for lasagna and cheese bread. I love the cheese bread here! Cheese breads = garlic bread plus four cheeses, baked to golden brown -- the best comfort foods for this rainy wintery Monday. You can dine in and choose to sit by the small fire pit to enjoy a little extra warmth :) This place is spacious and great for groups. It's also a very kid friendly place with kids menu for drawing. Adult-friendly with wine list and offers happy hour. Drinks include BC craft draft bottled beer, ciders and house red/white are also available. Pair your drink with nachos, wings, pizza or even their signature salad and voila, a good happy hour combo! Nice service, yummy foods and relaxing ambiance equates to a 5 star review for easing any traces of Monday blues. Private parking lot on the side - lots of free spots. Ample dining spaces inside for large groups or a more intimate dining for two. Curbside pickup and delivery also available.

Service was great, perogy pizza was great.. sausage(I don't like sausage in general) was good actually.. so the Saturday two smalls worked great for us to try something we normally wouldn't. I'd recommend here for your classic style pizza for sure

    Portion of Caesar salad

I have always wanted to try the pizza here and finally got the chance to do it. We came here for a late lunch. We shared a caesar salad (quite a big portion) and it was very fresh. At least the veggies were not wilted under the weight of the dressing. I had the mini Me-and-Ed combo which had a bit of everything. I liked it. The thin crust was a bit crispy which was nice. I would say to skip the anchovies though. The mini was about 8" and was a good size for me. It was very filling. I usually could only eat 2 (max 3) regular slices of pizza. For reference.

We ordered online which was simple enough. I think if you pay cash/debit in store , you get a free pop with each pizza. We got the meat lovers and chef's best pizzas and the website said it would take 30 mins to be made. It is a small turn in off Canada way into a Plaza with a few parking spots. You cannot turn back left onto Canada Way by the way. The inside had a dated look , kinda like diner vibes. Pickup was quick. Nobody dining in. First thing I noticed was the pizzas were very heavy in weight. For a 10" pizza I thought the price point was a but high at $23, it jumps up to around $34 for a 12"( medium). However, the pizza was almost like a deep dish pizza as there was a lot more dough than usual pizzas but a generous amount of toppings. Meat lovers was packed with meat but I just felt it was a good several bites before it started to feel too dense and greasy for me. The crust was crisp and cooked nicely. It reminded me of homemade pizza in the way that nothing really stood out to me. It was good , and filling, but just no wow factor for me. In conclusion though, I have many pieces for lunches for the week!

I remember the first time I tried the crust and was literally mind blown that it could be so airy, fluffy and freaking delicious. I'm indifferent about normal bread loafs that are regular or sourdough but holy cow , sourdough pizza crust is something else ! My favorite has been the perfect storm which is as the name says, the perfect amount of saltiness, sweetness, texture and flavour. I usually dont like mushrooms unless the mushrooms have cooked out the moisture a lot and while this pie doesn't look very appealing it is so yummy too. My partner is very pleased thst BBQ chicken is a regularly listed flavour as sometimes you have make it yourself at other restaurants. I will say any of the pizzas even taste good cold/ next day - which I always try to test for pizzas and fried chicken because its a solid place if it tastes good cold !! The parking lot is very small as there is a sushi place and a subway as neighbour's but also because surprisingly it is a Tesla charging hub so many people are just there to charge their car. I want to say there is like 11 spots or so... and not much room to turn in to check for parking and to turn your car around, you'll need some good reverse skills :). I suggest parking across from the gas station or along Bainbridge on the same side as the restaurant. One small thing is that sometimes the pizza slices aren't cut evenly. Like significantly off. For example, this time for each pie( we ordered BBQ chicken and funghi again) there was 1-2 slices that are about the quarter of the pie in size! I am only showing the pizza sizes as the other photos are similar to what have been posted already. One other observation is that there are so many staff working at a time - any time I've picked up , there have been 5 people ? I appreciate a good system but also if there are that many people j expect more perfection - including the pizza slize sizes ! Possibly because of the number of staff, that drives the pricing up a bit as the pies are on the pricier size for a medium sized pizza. I do wish you could order larger sizes as it only comes in one size. In conclusion, even with the small things mentioned, I wouldn't dock any stars because the sourdough is just too worth it to be phased and I have always enjoyed a meal from this place :).

The ribs has a nice seasoning run on them but like most Greek chicken ( I found it was quite dry). The potato's were not heavily lemoned either. It really was just a roast potato. Food takes a while to be ready so be ready to wait and eat with people sitting or standing waiting for their food. There is small side table, window counter and larger side table but there is definitely not too many places to sit. I'd recommend just puting in an order before showing up to save on waiting time. Staff was friendly despite how busy it got. Located on Hastings St. Plenty of street parking & side street parking and definitely transit friendly.

When a waitress finally started walking over, she randomly stopped to take another table's order mid-way. Then another waitress spent about 2 minutes counting tables before finally seating us. Not a great first impression. For appetizers, we ordered the Toscana salad and meatballs. The salad was just okay, nothing memorable. The meatballs were a real letdown. They looked piping hot when they arrived, but were disappointingly lukewarm inside. Honestly, the focaccia that came with it was the best part of the dish, especially when dipped in the pomodoro sauce. Mains were a mixed bag. The caserecce e tartufo was actually good; pasta cooked al dente with a rich, creamy sauce. I'd suggest adding pancetta to cut through some of that richness. The tagliatelle al ragu, however, was absolutely disappointing. There was barely any sauce on the pasta and the dish was completely bland; no flavor whatsoever. We each had about one bite and couldn't bring ourselves to eat more. Would not recommend. The tiramisu for dessert was decent but not great. You could tell there was too much mascarpone and not enough ladyfingers to balance it out. Overall, this was a subpar visit that left us disappointed. Between the inattentive service and inconsistent food quality, I can't recommend Sopra Sotta when there are so many better Italian restaurants in the area to choose from.
