Honestly, the price, quality, and quantity, Fresh Slice is a better bang for the buck than Dominoes. This Fresh Slice in particular is smaller than other locations. There are only a couple of seats. It can be feel a little crowded near the register when people queue up and some are trying to pick their pizza so you don't have a lot of space to stand on the side in to wait for your food but that doesn't really bother me personally.

Was looking to try a new place for pizza and my partner had found on a reddit thread that this…read moreplace was the next most suggested after wild flour pizza in Burnaby. We ordered online which was simple enough. I think if you pay cash/debit in store , you get a free pop with each pizza. We got the meat lovers and chef's best pizzas and the website said it would take 30 mins to be made. It is a small turn in off Canada way into a Plaza with a few parking spots. You cannot turn back left onto Canada Way by the way. The inside had a dated look , kinda like diner vibes. Pickup was quick. Nobody dining in. First thing I noticed was the pizzas were very heavy in weight. For a 10" pizza I thought the price point was a but high at $23, it jumps up to around $34 for a 12"( medium). However, the pizza was almost like a deep dish pizza as there was a lot more dough than usual pizzas but a generous amount of toppings. Meat lovers was packed with meat but I just felt it was a good several bites before it started to feel too dense and greasy for me. The crust was crisp and cooked nicely. It reminded me of homemade pizza in the way that nothing really stood out to me. It was good , and filling, but just no wow factor for me. In conclusion though, I have many pieces for lunches for the week!

I followed their instructions, but they continued to aggressively demand to check my phone screen. When I politely expressed that this procedure felt uncomfortable and implied a lack of trust, the male employee started arguing with me. The situation escalated when a female staff member came over and started shouting at me at the top of her lungs. When I stated that I am an honest worker and not a thief, she openly shouted back: "You could be a thief." Falsely accusing workers and screaming at people in public shows a total lack of ethics and basic human respect. Uber has already been formally notified of this incident. I strongly advise everyone to support local businesses that treat human beings with dignity instead of this hostile establishment.

We were looking for a solid place to eat some pizza, yes, there are lots of choices, but this one was recommended by our family is a good option. So here we go. Getting there, simple, lots of parking on the street and off the side. It feels old school, there, built for a different era, a more wood-lined, maybe 70s? Regardless, the place feels like a million people have come through, and that's not bad. It feels lived in, in again in a good way. Honestly, the pizza recipe here hasn't changed in forever, which is to say, full of toppings, nice crust, and delicious, both hot.. and next day leftovers. Service, well... it was good. The server refilled our waters/sodas, never an empty cup for long, and you could tell, they enjoy their jobs, laughter and smiles... okay, so is it the newest gourmet place? nope, and that's not the point, it's solid, good for parties, families, or just the pizza that you likely grew up on.

The one in particular that I ordered was the D'silva Delight. This menu item reminded me of the Mona 's smile pizza I used to order from Simpatico's Taverna from many years ago. The D'silva pizza contains spicy salami, shrimp, onions, bacon crumble, mushrooms and green peppers. I added extra toppings of shrimp and ham to tone down the spice level of the salami which hit the spot for me! The pizza arrived juicy and even better than expected. The cheese blend was just melted and the bacon crumble was moist and not dry! My family ordered the meat heads only with extra bbq chicken topping. They loved that pizza too. The only small criticism I have is with their pizza crust which was not the traditional in-house made yeast raised dough. I think with inflation and rising food costs sacrifices have to be made for a business to stay affordable. I can understand and overlook that. Besides they have been in business for more than 30 years so that means their recipes and quality have staying power. Lucky for us the owners have renewed their lease for another 5 years. I know where to visit now to get my new favorite pizza.
