Rice balls are awesome!! Pizza with a variety of toppings- always fresh, never disappoints!! My family has been coming here for years. Very friendly staff, and fast delivery. They have all you can eat pasta Tuesdays, for about $3.99. I think that's great!! I've tried some pastas, but havent made it on a Tuesday night yet. Linguine with Clam Sauce is to die for!! I was craving pizza badly today and decided to try this place out for dinner via take out. I live about 5 minutes away and always pass by this spot. I heard from a couple of people that the pizza is pretty good here, and if you know me, you know how much I loveeee pizza haha. The service is pretty darn awful, which is a big reason why I gave this place only 2 stars. I'm not sure if it's because it was dinner time (there were only 2 other people ordering) or the people behind the counter were having a bad day or something. No one acknowledged my presence and when I asked for an order of garlic knots and the guy behind the counter said: "They're right here." Pointing to a bowl of garlic knots behind the glass display. Uh...I didn't know what he expected me to do. Reach through the display and pack it myself? He then proceeded to ignore me, talking to his coworkers and waited about 5 more minutes to take the rest of my order, which was 2 plain slices, 1 Hawaiian slice and 1 meat lover slice. He then rung me up after another 5 minutes or so. Ugh, the whole ordeal was just plain terrible. I'm not expecting 5 star service from a pizza joint, but there's no reason to be rude. The food isn't too bad, it's pretty average. The plain slices were already a little cold by the time I got back home but it still was still pretty good. Super cheesy and the crust was perfect. The Hawaiian was alright and the meat lovers was alright as well, I've had better. The garlic knots were just average as well. I'm not sure what everyone else sees in it. It could use a little (a lot) more garlic. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back here just because the experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. Maybe only delivery or something so I don't have to deal with the rude servers. I did see that there was a special on Tuesdays for all you can eat Pasta for $3.99 which is an awesome deal, but according to some of the other reviews the past is kinda bland. read more

What to say, what to say? I have eaten at Pizza Garden so many times, but strictly out of respect for my cousins' choices, affilation to the owner, and its proximity to my house. The taste, however, is another story, and I have constantly been disappointed by the small slices and bland tomato sauce. By far the best pizza around. It has a nice crispy crust and delicious sauce. You can go in a get pizza at the counter, or just sit down and wait for the waitress to serve you. They also have garlic knots that are delicious. While you are eating you can you can play the lottery, either buy a scratch off ticket or you can play pick 10 and watch the television to see if your numbers came up. If you take a pizza pie to go, their boxes have coupons that you can save, once you have ten you can get a free pizza to go. read more

Been having pizza garden pizza since college. I'm sure I've had it earlier but my memory isn't too great on all the pizza slices I've had in my life. I've always ordered to go in college so I didn't know how the service was back then but now a days I actually sit down and eat there. The atmosphere is the usual. I mean it is a pizzeria how fancy do they have to be. Hahaha The service is good. I don't know what the other reviews are saying. I never had to wait for odd reasons. I walk in... tell them what I want... they ask me if I want something to drink... I go sit down... they actually bring me my food (unlike some places they just call out what you ordered)... I eat... I pay... Not that complicated. The pizzeria is my go to spot in queens. Still keep forgetting to try their pasta nights though. read more

We came in on a Sunday around 11:30 looking for some good food. It was not until 15 minutes after we arrived that we found out that the owner had opened early to accommodate another customer and did the same for us by letting us stay. The pizza was very good. The "plain salad" was worth the $3.50 and it was filled with fresh veggies. He accommodated my son who was running around and even picked up on his name and came to say hello and introduced himself and chatted. I want to try their $Tuesday pasta special and other food. I'm genuinely curious how they have a decent overall rating. I've been here twice. The first time, I waited by the counter to get someone's attention, but every single worker ignored me. It wasn't even busy - I just had the feeling that they didn't care enough to have my business, so I walked out. The second time, I went with a friend an hour before closing. They didn't have plain pizza, and the guy who was taking our order wouldn't make it. Fine. I ordered something else. Both our slices turned out to be sorta stale and the flavor on both was really bland. Also, we waited a good 5 minutes just to pay after we got our pizza to-go because they decided that they wanted to take care of other preparations (stocking up on garlic knots, cleaning, and whatnot). And then when another customer came in while we were waiting, of course they gave him all the attention. After a few minutes, I got one of the worker's attention (who was kind of just standing around) and politely asked if we can pay now, and found out that basically only the designated chashier can take payment because everyone else is so "busy" (or lazy?) and the guy just moved his head in her direction, as if to say, "She's busy. She'll help you when she's done stocking up on garlic knots and small talking with the other customer." TLDR: I did not feel appreciated as a customer whatsoever. They made us wait to pay because they don't know how to prioritize customers over food stocking/prep and cleaning. Last comment: A worker was filling up a few paper soda cups with beer for a customer when my friend and I arrived. Not sure exactly what the intent of that is, but pretty sure it's to illegally drink in public. Correct me if I'm wrong. read more

Only had a regular slice but it was very good, everything was good, dough, sauce and good cheese.

This place has been in business for more than 50 years, with the same family running it. There is a good reason for its success: I have been eating there for much of that period and the pizza has always been of the same high quality. I tend to stick to the basics: a regular slice or a Sicilian without special toppings. The Neapolitan slice is relatively thin crust, and neither slice pounds you over the head with cheese or dough. The sauce is just right, complementing the cheese without overpowering it. The crust is firm and delicious. The best is, of course, to get a pie right out of the oven. With plenty of tables available, you can do that with your group. read more

I have definitely experienced better pizza than Pizza Garden. The good thing was they were pretty fast on the delivery. But the pizza wasn't even hot by the time it got to me. The garlic knots were horrible, very bland and soggy. The pepperoni chips were under cooked and oily. And the pepperoni pin wheel was a poor excuse for food, it was greasy and bland, it actually made me sad. The Penne a la Vodka slice was horrible. It had no taste and didn't even taste like a la vodka. It tasted like hard baked ziti. The crust was crunchy but gross. I will never be ordering from here again. read more
