Got 14" tomato and basil pizza to go. I was handed the box, opened it and said I got the wrong pizza, I ordered basil on it. I was told the "specks" on the pizza were basil. I told the girl that's really sad. It's sad because I paid $19.65 total for pizza that had dried seasoning thrown on it. Won't be getting pizza here again. read more

The food is always good and always has been,however we come into this place with my brothers service lizard .This lady who claimed to be the "owner" was so rude,worse experience and terrible worker.Never eat here if you have service animals you will be treated like an inconvenience . Got back into town from hiking Fossil Creek and were too tired to get back to camp to cook up our fajitas so we opted for pizza... The calories were SO worth it. We ended up ordering the special per the price saving from our order assistant, really should have stuck with a medium. We got the XL pepperoni with garlic sticks, also per our order assistant as she said the cheesy bread was basically on a sandwich roll. The breadsticks were amazing, flavorful, garlicky, nice and chewy however def not a healthy option as the pan was literally covered in butter. The pizza sauce was right on, not too much or too little with a nice flavor. It was really great! Plus the gap attending to us was very enjoyable to work with. Lasagna tastes like good homemade. We were on the tail end of a couple day road trip, and needed something other than drive-through fast food. Such a lucky find. We ordered, then while waiting, walked a few doors down to the Dollar Tree to restock snacks. We also got the combination Calzone, which was good, but tough to beat the lasagne. Friendly staff had it "ready to go" when we returned. She stocked the carry-out bag with 2 good sized pieces of garlic bread. We will be stopping by on our return trip to try the pizza. read more

We stopped in Payson to spend the night on our way to Phoenix. With COVID, we did not want to venture out, so we had our order delivered to our motel room. The delivery guy was very pleasant. We got the Awesome Combo minus the salami and olives. One of the best pizzas We have ever had! The crust was perfect, and the toppings were plentiful and nice sized pieces. The Caesar salad dressing was excellent. We would've liked the breadsticks more, if they weren't so drowned in butter/garlic sauce. Pretty good pizza place, fairly greasy and decent prices. The cashier was very friendly. The salad was amazing, the wings were excellent, pizza was greasy but tasted good. The menu was really confusing but the cashier helped us with it. The waitress would come up and take empty plates to help clear the table. All and all a great place :) read more

This is during the COVID time where there are no restaurants open for dinning in. We ordered a XL pizza that came with a medium cheese pizza and 24 Wings for delivery. Pizza was good, but not great. Since there are limited mom and pop pizza places in payson its better than the major chains. As for wings, they are small and baked which is not my favorite but is what it is. With the wings they gave us 2 small ranch dressings for 24 wings which was weak. So overall good for whats available in payson. We will order again to give another shot since we stay there a lot. so lets hope COVID was the reason. read more

Found this place on Yelp. My son ordered Spaghetti with meatballs, they were the best meatballs I've ever had! My daughter ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, it was ok. Mom ordered baked spaghetti and it was delicious. We also ordered an XL All Meat pizza, which was amazing. We could not believe how much meat was on it. Definitely took a lot of pizza to go. There was no cheese on the pizza. We ordered the factory special and the meat special pizza. The veggies are almost raw, barely any cheese and the crust really has no taste at all. The ham is sliced like long skinny pieces that you put on a salad. Went to Payson for a quick day trip. We had eaten at the Pizza factory in Williams, AZ a few months ago and it was really good. The one in Payson was good as well. The staff was very friendly also. However, the restaurant was very dirty. There was food left on the floors from previous patrons. The tables were dusted with a cloth. I watched as the employee barely slide the cloth over the tables. The table was very gritty and sticky. The salad bar had been picked over and never replenished the entire time we were there. There were plenty of employees standing around talking but none really cleaning the dining area. read more

The Awesome Combo is our favorite. Beer is cold and the staff is friendly. When in Payson this will continue to be our go to place. read more

The pizza was good, but the wings were soggy and kind of gross. Come to find out they don't have deep fryers. Not sure how they cook em but definitely don't get the wings. Also I know it's not their fault but the claw machine didn't drop a prize that the little kid won. It just sat there and he was devastated. read more

While we were waiting for food which took ages, I decided I wanted to use some spare quarters on the gumball sorta thing, It said 75 cents I put in 50 then when it twisted it again I put 25, .... Nothing happened, I put another quarter, boom a dollar wasted, I went to the front desk, this rude lady with attitude, she got 75 quarters and took the rest of my 50 cents, she used the machine which was basically broken. Pizza Factory seemed to be the only local place that delivered besides the normal large chains, so we went with them. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some boneless wings. Our food was delivered within the quoted time and everything was hot and fresh. Both the pizza and the wings were just okay...nothing special, and not as good as other Pizza Factory locations we have tried. Also, they knew they were delivering to a hotel, but didn't include paper plates or plasticware. They didn't even include napkins. The web site is down all the time it's probably about 50/50 on if it will work to order food or not. So you try the phone and sadly it's worse it usually ring and rings and nobody answers the phone.... Tried it again today 4-9-2022 after a email saying I have not ordered in a while. Of course the website was not working again and I called 10-15 times and just got a busy signal. Since my family and I will be staying in Payson more often we decided it was essential to find descent pizza. Used Yelp of course and found this place. Hand tossed dough, a fact, saw it happening when I went to pick up our order, also noticed plenty of doughballs ready in a chiller. The Pizza: Think Barros if you're from the valley. The difference, better quality in the dough, sauce, and i'm pretty sure they don't use "pizza blend" cheese by how it bakes on the pizza. Best Pizza in the Mogollon Rim area, by far. With our cabin a good 20 minutes away in Pine, we would still rather drive to pick up here than purchase the definition of pizza mediocrity in-town. Its New York style, and while it is not the absolute best Ive ever had, they make a really good solid Neopolitan. The family setting is fun, but do know that as such, families do come. So if you hate screaming children, take-out might be better. The seats are picnic benches mostly, which is kinda fun I suppose. It still maintains the lil' italian family shop feel, however, and especially when its not too crowded, Its a rather enjoyable atmosphere. Finding a place to grab a bite that is not a chain can be a bit of a pain in pasyon. Pizza factory fit the bill, showed up under the keyword search for beer and had pizza in the name. Alas as beer goes they only have inbev products. The pizza seemed promising as their slogan of "we toss 'em they're awsome" is a great line. We had a tomato and basil pizza off their gourmet menu, and this was a bit of a lie as the tomatoes were just diced, the basil was shaken on and the cheese did not seem any different than regular cheese. This is no Bianco/ cibo. On that same note there is not wood fired stone oven or even stone oven just a conveyor belt. luckily the temp was hot enough to give the crust some crustiness. If this were in a bigger town 3 starts, but due to limited options it gets 4. Prices were a bit high $15 for a medium pizza and a drink. My advice to the Pizza factory, get some local micro brews, and get a traditional pizza oven and fresh ingredients not packaged.. read more
