Ordered Greek salad and 24 piece boneless wings for delivery... the so called boneless wings were overcooked and burnt in spots and were like eating jerky. If you like a salad and pizza buffet, they have one! Call for hours and days. Large tables and lots of them make it a perfect place for lunch, after soccer game gatering, or a Birthday party. The pizza is average, not burnt or under done, with the usual choices and nice folks at the counter. My order was just about ready when I arrived so I was able to grab and go. Lots of parking in the lot too. The sit-right-down-ready-to-eat-buffet figures into the Four stars for convenience. Something ready to eat that isn't from the drive-through. Tonight after a long road trip we did not want to cook... So even though I haven't been happy with them lately we desired to get some pizza factory. I ordered meat ravioli and some wings, my wife got a salad and boneless wings... the salad and boneless wings where Ok, but what I received for $9 was one of the most disappointing meals I have had in a while... Good pizza. Love their bread sticks. But they are becoming a little overrated. Takes way too long to get food from here lately. 3 stars because their online ordering is horrendous. They should just trash it. My favorite thing to order from here is the cheese sticks. They used to come without aluminum foil, which was much better. Now that the Togo tray is lined with the stuff they stick and almost all the cheese gets stuck. Whoever decided to implement this: terrible idea. Hubby ordered his pepperoni pizza which is usually really good (according to him) and I had the chicken alfredo. It had to be the worst piece of pizza I've had in my 57 years.... It tasted like bland chicken and cheese. The WORST. Hubby's pizza was so greasy we had to put a paper towel to it.... More than one sheet. So gross. We returned those pizzas and complained. Honestly, this place took me by surprise. I'm from Chicago so I'm a bit of a pizza snob. The original crust is really good! Not too thick. They are very generous with toppings which is a nice surprise, and they don't overdo the sauce. I've been twice now for piand the staff is friendly and they work quickly. I truly did not expect to like the food here as much as I do. I'll definitely order again. UPDATE: Wings were disappointing. Too much breading. Nowhere near enough sauce. I love this place! We order pizza from here just about every week and I am never disappointed. The food and service is excellent. So far it has never taken more than 20 min to get my order ready for pick up. Every time I come in there a bunch of young kids working super hard. The place is always clean. From the bathroom, to the seating area, to the work station behind the counter. Management is doing great with these young kids. Pizza Factory makes some damn good pizza. A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. Round Table, IMO, was always the best pizza money could buy (and it took a lot of money to buy, too) - but unfortunately, they were never very consistent, and sometimes I just spent a helluva lot of money on mediocre pizza. I have been getting Pizza from Pizza Factory fairly steady for the past 3 years or so. We've had some past issues with burnt pizza delivered we've been able to iron out. Then about a week ago my girlfriend picked up a pizza and observed the young lady blowing on the pizza after shed dabbed the grease off with paper towels. After she returned home she informed me what she observed. Blowing on the food big No-No in the world of food safety! Just slightly above spitting on the pizza. At best the pizza has always been mediocre, but it beats the Pizza hut, and in Dayton there are not a lot of choices. So I called the Pizza Factory and ask to speak with the manager, and the girl kept asking whats wrong with the pizza, and I had to repeatedly ask for the manager at least 3 times. So a guy comes on who says he is owner. I tell him what my girlfriend observed, he basically called my girlfriend a lier without even investigating the issue. After some bantering back and forth, he offered me a new pizza. I refuse and said I'd bring the pizza back and I want a refund. His attitude was very defensive, and angry. He repeated at least 4 times "I guarantee my girl did not blow on the pizza, she is food safety trained." Each time I informed him you keep calling my girlfriend a lier each time you say that. He was thick as a brick and it did not penetrate how insulting he was being. If he would simply have said, I apologize, our staff is trained in best food safety practices, and I'll investigate instead of getting defensive, and insisting that it was an impossibility for his staff, (family members) to blow on the pizza then I would have been good with that. I would have exchanged the pizza for another one. So people make mistakes. Admit it rather than call a customer a lier. When I went in to bring their pizza back and get my refund, he tells me his girl had sniffed the pizza to make sure it was the one with garlic on it. Well hovering your face over the pizza and sniffing means your exhaling and therefore blowing on the pizza to. My girlfriend said she puckered up her lips and blew, and she thought the highly trained food safety management pizza girl was trying to get a piece of the paper towel that stuck on the pizza off. Excuses, and being defensive about mistakes don't cut it. Admit the possibility a mistake was made, apologize. Take responsibility! Satisfy the customer. read more

Haven't been to a lot of Pizza Factory franchises, but if the one in Dayton isn't the best, it is certainly near the top. The owners do a great job of selecting and training staff that make you feel welcome and treat you well. While one thing Dayton isn't short of is places to get pizza, Pizza Factory stands out with good food, and even better customer care. Make sure you try the calzone, too. ;) read more
