Plenty of ranch on the side. Love ranch! For, dessert we had their Whistle pig bread pudding. My favorite. I can honestly say they have the best bread pudding in town. A must try. Our friend had an issue but it was unrelated to our current visit. Which was promptly addressed by the manager. Overall, we highly recommend The Parlor. Come in have a meal. On a taco salad???) a tablespoon sized dollop of sour cream, a wimpy sprinkle of tortilla strips and some watery, very basic salsa (and not enough of that, either). I added a side of avocado which was maybe a quarter of one for $2.25 (so avocados cost $9 apiece, apparently). Anyway, once I ate what should have been the good stuff, there was sooooo much lettuce remaining. Bleh. I left hungry. That salad was $26 dollars for a tasteless bowl of lettuce. . This week is the chicken curry salad sandwich and last week was the Carolina pulled pork.. I lost my mind with that one.. so so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating it. I mean, who sends out a takeout salad with no dressing? That's a pretty basic part of the order, and once you're already home, you shouldn't have to drive all the way back because someone didn't check the order before it left the restaurant. What's even more disappointing is that before writing this review, I actually called the restaurant to give them an opportunity to make it right. I asked to speak with a manager and was told the manager would call me back. That call never came. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. But not following up with a customer after saying you would is what really bothered me. A simple phone call and acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, between the incomplete order and the lack of follow-up, this was a very disappointing experience.
