There are a couple of No. 1 Pizza takeaways in Birmingham now, there's another one in Walsall as well. I went to the one in West Brom last week on my way to Wolverhampton. Me and friends decided to stop at No.1 because like I said you can basically feed a group of 5 people on 2/3 pizzas for £5. At the moment they have a great offer on: 'Buy any size pizza & get one free'- which is a guarantee that everyone will be fully fed and happy. Though they have their own selection of pizza's i.e. Meat Feast, Spicy Chicken. You can also create your own pizza with a selection of various toppings. Try the, spicy chicken pizza but with a little extra chilli- just the right way to spice up your life.

Nowhere in Smethwick was serving and we ended up in West Brom. Thankfully we caught whatever the pizza world's equivalent of last orders is here. The strange thing is that the sign on the window suggests that they close early so maybe they've changed in the few months since. I hope not because late-night pizza appears strangely hard to come by in these parts. If the pizzas are still as nice and value for money as they were very nice indeed. If you find kebabs too messy, chips too greasy and Maccies too...well, have you ever seen Supersize Me? Then this is a pretty good alternative.

The company offer a wide range of pizzas, they even sell Kurdish pizza! As well as this Caspian pizza sells burgers, kebabs and chicken meals, the usual side orders and deserts. As tasty as this food is we all know none of it is healthy so can also get a small variety of salads that range from £2.00-£2.50. The prices are reasonable and range from £3.50-£10.00 for pizzas, £1.99-£3.50 for burgers, £3.50-£5.99 for kebabs, £1.00-£3.99 for chicken meals. The staff are reasonably friendly and they offer a delivery service. Below are their opening hours: Delivery is open every day from 11.30-22.45 and collection is open every day from 11.30-23.00.

The first thing I will say for it is their prices are quite frankly ludicrous. It's a good thing that they're named after a prince, as they can't be making very much per meal at these prices. A regular pizza sets you back just £2.49, whereas any burger is a paltry £1.80, and kebabs start at just £2. As the name suggests, their piece de resistance is their pizza, and even at their rock bottom prices, it doesn't disappoint, with a great range of toppings to customise with (I'd personally recommend the tandoori chicken with the pepperoni - unconventional but delicious). The rest of the food is also good, and some of the best of its kind available in the immediate vicinity, but I'd go for the pizza every time.

Perhaps something was wrong with the oven, because I then tried the Funghi de Bosco on a Romana crust, which was not what I would call "crispy," nor was it hot. My partner's American Hot was cool as well. We sent both back to the kitchen for a warm-up, something we really shouldn't have to do at a chain so established as this. The pizza itself, much like the garlic bread, lacked flavor. Dessert was probably the highlight of the experience. My partner and I both ordered from the Dolcetti column of the menu, which includes mini desserts and a coffee. The Mini Chocolate Fudge Cake (really, a chocolate cupcake), was very nice, although ironically, I would have preferred it room-temperature. I was stunned by the number of families with loud, obnoxious children here on a Thursday night in April. While I find most children to be adorable, there are only so many renditions of "Happy Birthday" I can take, and the two-year-old at the table next to ours was determined to set the record. Our waitress was not what I would call "attentive," and so we had to flag other waitresses throughout the evening for additional glasses of wine or water, and for the check later on. The building itself, however, is very attractive. I wish the restaurant had seated us on the second level, which seemed much quieter and offered a lovely view. Overall, not the best Pizza Express I've experienced.

Service seems much better, and the old problem of repeatedly having the wrong order (happened 3 times in a row) seem to be a distant memory. Slice of life. This…read morewas definitely the best pizza place I've visited in Birmingham during my time here. I'm very happy with the success of the launch of Otto. When I first heard of eight foot grocery, I wasn't aware of such a good deli in Birmingham. However with Otto in addition in the arsenal, jewellery quarter is a must place for food lovers. The boastings of Otto was the high quality ingredients and it didn't disappoint, see the individual reviews for 4 different pizzas below: Special 1 - pumpkin, pine nuts, crispy bacon, mozzarella drizzled with honey - Not too heavy and not too light. The pizza gives a Hawaiian feel, however there are no juices, but you definitely do taste the sweet glaze. Special 2 - fresh coppa, mozzarella, topped with rocket - ham, with rocket. Even though it was a special, I think it's missing a flavour, perhaps add some olives or maybe some pesto to give it an extra bang. Main 2 - Nduja, Mozzarella and tomato - spicy chilli salami paste scattered all over the pizza. It gives the pizza a nice kick, just how I like it. Main 4 - Mushroom, seared pepper, artichoke, tomato and ricotta - a unique pizza without the mozzarella, therefore it's particularly saucy but the vegetables and ricotta make up for that. I also recommend the tomato and pesto flatbread, just can't go wrong with pesto on some bread. Warm and crispy with the flavour of the pesto complimenting the bread. Service was very good, with regular staff making sure the food was ok and no problems encountered - just how it should be! I can see this place becoming not only an evening hangout but a great lunch area too! With takeouts available, there's just no way you can miss an opportunity to try Otto. Great pizza, great price. Would visit again.
