Inside it seats around 30 and is decorated in a modern style that still manages to be warm and welcoming. We visited recently for a meal for 4 on a Friday evening. The restaurant was nearly full. All our starters and mains were served in a timely manner and were delicious. I ordered the scallops and duck and both were brilliant. This is not a mega cheap place but it is worth the money charged. We spent around £35 per head with drinks. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.

It doesn't look much from the outside but from the moment you go in, you are made to feel at home. A clean modern restaurant. All our food was served promptly, and was devoured just as promptly - all excellent. I have visited many "Italian" Restaurants both in Italy & here in the UK and I have to say this is certainly in my top ten! Good food made from quality ingredients, with excellent service is never cheap (if cheap is what you want, there are many pub restaurants to choose from) La Nonna is reasonably priced for the standard of food & service you receive, you can pay a lot more elsewhere for a lot less! Well worth a visit

My Mum and I went along on a Tuesday evening. It wasn't full but there were a few people there. Service was efficient and friendly throughout. She was able to advise my Mum on an alternative pasta. I love that the pasta can be replaced with spiralised veg. I find pasta boring and stodgy so the freshness from the veg was really different. I had chilli prawns with spiralised veg. My Mum had a goats cheese and tomato pasta. We also shared some delicious pizza bread topped with caramalised onion. A lovely meal- really impressed!

We decided to head over for breakfast and I have to say I was extremely impressed. We were sat quickly and served very quickly. We opted for the breakfast pizza and coffee. The coffee is great quality strong coffee and my Americano was as good as any coffee shop. Most importantly if you order a breakfast it's free unlimited refills which I think is great value. The breakfast pizza which I think is one of the nicest ideas for breakfast. Served on a thing Base with a mixture of sausage bacon mushroom and tomato and served with an egg is a tasty and filling breakfast. (I wasn't able to finish mine) the ingredients all tastes incredibly fresh and it was fantastic value. Definitely will be going back and get again this recently rebranded chain continues to impress.

I'm quite a big fan of Italian food, so coming here for the first time, I was excited to sample an independent (I've always eaten at chain Italian restaurants before). The premises itself is lovely and spacious with inviting, modern, sleek black tables. And I always remark at how cooling the air conditioning is. I hate eating in a restaurant that's hot and sweaty, but Pavarotti's has maintained perfect room temperature every time I've been in. I'm really bad with pronunciations of dishes, and Italian spelling for that matter (I need to touch up!) So I always read the descriptions and usually choose a pasta dish. Most of the pasta choices have been very filling, and maybe a little overfilling, which is nothing to complain about; I just need to know when to stop myself from eating! However, I must admit, I've had tastier Italian food elsewhere. The staff are proficient, but I wouldn't exactly call it service with a smile.

The garlic pizza bread is amazing the pizzas are top notch and my wife loves the risottos. The home made tiramisu is like nothing I've ever tried, gorgeous. I love the way the kitchen is open to the dining room so you know the hygiene standards are spot on. Keep up the good work.

DO NOT let this bother you. - recently, my wife and I ate an OK Greek meal, but it was in a such a beautiful premises, that anything but an amazing food experience would have been a let down. The food didn't match the quality of the restaurant. I just think that in this restaurant, when you walk in, it was so 1970's, that anything half decent was going to impress. It wasn't the best food. King prawns were over cooked, the bread was undercooked, the calamari was perfectly cooked, but the coating/batter was under. My 8oz fillet was perfectly cooked, but the pate on top was really cheap, coarse, tasteless, horrible pate. The sauce with the steak was stupidly thick, (but seriously tasty). Such a shame. That said, it was great. I love the fact that after all those comments, I loved it. I also can't wait to take friends there to see what they think. I think you should visit. It's a great evening.

Tiled, mirrored walls and arching pillars add a sense of authenticity to the interior and leather seats make the whole set-up feel plush and expensive. Which is very apt indeed, as most dishes cost in excess of £15 each. On my visit, I sampled the 'pollo alla duchessa' - chicken, prawn and asparagus in a brandy and cream sauce, which was gorgeous, and I'd definitely visit again. But only if somebody else was paying!
