Horrible customer service, delivered the wrong pizza. I guess they do not believe in the, "the customer is always right" Motto. Will not be going back here, Bravos is the best pizza in town anyways. read more

Pizza Express - I small pizza for $20. Boycott and do not eat here. Eat at bravos - Pizza Near Me - Atascadero, California

After being disappointed with other pizza places in town, I decided to try Pizza Express and was happy that I did. I ordered the Antonia's Special for pickup. The pizza was fresh out of the oven when I arrived and it was fantastic! The crust wasn't cracker thin or overly thick, the sauce was great, the toppings and extra cheese were plentiful. 5 stars pie! I highly recommend. read more

First things first, the pizza was just unholy. When the tip of the pizza entered my mouth I could not bare anymore, instant throw up! Smells and tastes like my underwear after intense workout. Absolutely awful, and I demand a refund of 100$! Im so mad, I'm about to start cursing smh. read more

Good pizza and the staff is friendly. Just stopped by for the first time and was happy with how good the pizza by the slice was. Very fair prices too. I'll definitely come back. read more

Well, we're officially done with pizza express. I'm so bummed because it used to be our go-to and we recommended them to everyone. We even had them deliver for our daughters birthday last year and everyone raved about it. Things are totally different now. We've picked up pizza a number of times since they changed ownership and haven't had a good experience yet. We kept hoping things would get better and kinks would be worked out. But last night was a total bust. The pizza didn't taste good (and I'm not picky) and the breadsticks were over cooked. Not to mention the salad that could feed maybe one person when it used to serve as a side for 2-3. If all that wasn't bad enough, they've also raised their prices and gotten rid of some of the great deals they used to have. At this point it makes more sense to hit up one of the big chains in town for pizza. Prices are lower and pizza tastes better. I guess it's time to find some new places in town and mourn the loss of one of our favorites. read more

New owners recently. We have had their pizza a handful of times and enjoyed it but we really enjoyed it this past time. New owners = even better pizza. The sauce was fantastic, the crust was crunchy and perfect and the pizza overall was great. We also ordered 8 wings in the mild sauce. My husband really enjoyed them. They were a bit overpriced but he liked them. I do hope they keep the pizza specials as that's what keeps us coming back! read more

Bomb! Crust and dough was cooked perfectly with the pepperoni curling up crispy. Great job! Coming back for sure. The breadsticks are good too! Thanks for the good job. Fire read more

We had quit pizza Express a few years ago but decided to give them a try after our disappointment with Nardonnes and Bravo. We were pleasantly surprised and have been back twice more with consistent satisfaction. It did take them an hour each time though. read more

At our place there are two types of pizza lovers. First and largest in number are the ones who choose Pizza Express. It is a good pizza and has a nice crust and they are prompt. Really prompt.the toppings are generous enough to satisfy. It is what you want in a local pizza place. as for the other type of pizza lover - well that is hidden in another review down the street about 20 blocks. read more

So impressed with this place I'm so glad they changed owners! I didn't like the other place when I read the reviews since I had a coupon and saw that they had changed owners I decided to give them a try again. The pizza is so good the way remember Pizza Express being I grew up with the one and Paso back in the nineties when they were good and this one taste just as good also work for the one in Paso in high school and the San Luis Obispo one , now Pizza LA Nova, in college and it tastes just as good, I think it's better now way better! Go give these new owners a try you won't be disappointed! I didn't like the last owners they put too much oil on the pizza in always overcooked it and they never put enough cheese this place puts tons a cheese I love it and the toppings are better! read more

4 mi Quite possibly the worst customer service by Kim and Tariq that I have ever received. I am in the food service industry and would be appalled if one of my team members or manager acted or treated a customer with such irreverence and distain. We ordered a four topping pizza and they forgot to put the sausage on it. When I called and spoke to Kim she said the best she could do is give us two dollars off our next pizza. I explain to her that was unacceptable as I was not going to pay for a pizza that I didn't order. I requested to speak to the manager and she said he was not in the building but would call me back shortly. One and a half hours later I called them back and a gentleman named Tariq got on the phone. I requested he either take the pizza off my credit card or just make me a new one and have it delivered. He refused to do either. He asked me if we had eaten any of the pizza and I told him yes as it was now almost 9:30 PM. He said he was not going to give us a new pizza or give us any money back as we had eaten some of it. We have been loyal customers to Pizza Express for many years and the only place we order a pizza from. However we will never go there again and I will make it a point of encouraging all my friends not to frequent this establishment. I explain this all to Tariq who simply said "that's OK I don't need your business". What else needs to be said after that. read more

We just moved to SLO, and we were looking for our always to go pizza place... We found it! Its really cheap, we paid $9.99 for a large pizza with 4 toppings! It is a really good pizza with fresh ingredients. It is called express for something: we got our pizza in less than 10 min. I would strongly recommend this pizza for delivery or take out. The place is small and although they do offer inside sitting (2 booths and several tables), the ambiance is not that nice for neither a date or getting together with friends :the place is definitely addressed for delivery and take out. They deliver which is great, but they not only deliver pizza, but also their multiple selections of calzones, salads, sandwiches, drinks AND beers.... Yes... BEERS! They also offer an ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA, breadsticks and soda for 6.99 in store only. I will definitely try that out some day soon. read more

Pizza Express - Half chicken and tomatoes, half pepperoni! Delicious and cheap - Pizza Near Me - Atascadero, California

This review is not about the quality of their pizza because the pizza is actually really good. But, you're trash if you advertise slices and regularly DON'T have them available. Take away the sign or advertise your slice time. The paso locations serve slices all day. read more

For the price. This pizza is mmm mmm good! Can't go wrong! Ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and bell peppers and everything about it hit the spot! read more

Tried it, and was sorely disappointed. Food was terrible. I tried the chicken garlic calzone and my boyfriend and his brothers ate the chicken pesto pizza... And all we have to say is we were not happy nor satisfied with the quality. Better to order Dominoes than Pizza Express... Sorry Pizza Express. read more

Good stuff! Called by phone so I could pick up later. Couldn't find prices on their website, kind of odd, but maybe its for competition reasons. Idk. The woman on the phone gave me the prices I was curious about, then offered me their pickup special. Yes please, ill take 2! The pickup time was nice and accurate too. Thank you Pizza Express for the great pizza and customer service. read more

Pizza is fantastic, they offer a gluten-free crust (if you build your own pizza) and they have lots of topping options. But today they went above and beyond. Pizza was late so I called. Got a call back with the info that the delivery driver's car had broken down. The manager drove out himself to pick up our order from the driver and deliver it, with multiple apologies for the delay. Even though it was delayed - the pizza was still hot. Yum! read more

Time to update since it's been a whopping 4 years... and I can say with certainty this is the BEST pizza in town, especially for the price!!! This is my go-to spot, and when considering where to buy pizza for my daughter's birthday party... this was a no-brainer. $80 fed TWENTY adults + TEN kids and provided me with leftovers for DAYS!!! People were raving about the pizza, asking where it was from because it was so delicious. My father who watched the pizzas be made was so very impressed at the amount of time the man put into creating these pies of deliciousness, not skimping on toppings or cheese. The quality is apparent when you open the box, and then again when you take that first bite. When you order Extra Cheese... you are getting it, and can tell. If you're in the mood for a great pizza... this is where you should go. read more

Wanted to provide a better description for those readers looking for another pizza option. This location was my go-to spot after living in Atown many years. And I always loved it! I hadn't had in some time but wanted to re-visit as I was tired of the Buy-one get one place. Ordered a standard pepperoni no changes requested. The employee on the phone was very polite and more importantly did not rush through taking my order and was friendly. I ordered at peak time on a Saturday. So kuddos for that. We picked up and pizza was a great price and on time. Upon observation Pizza seemed a bit over cooked, not burnt but definite dark parts on crust and crispier on one side. In my opinion the crust/dough was on the thicker side for a standard pie & unfortunately was uneven Pepperoni was sparse, and very crispy in texture. Cheese to sauce ratio was fine nothing unique about that. Flavor of pizza was good, typical pizza. Not great or stand out, but again I did order a standard pizza. A pie too doughy is not my favorite, so I may have enjoyed more had it not been so thick. Perhaps, next time I will look for another crust option and ask for more pepperoni. Good enough to explore a second visit and another chance read more

Great Pizza, sometimes pizza is nice and crisp on the bottom sometimes not so much but I guess that's what may happen when the delivery schedule is busy. I've tried other pizza delivery places, just because of coupons, and they don't add up. One even charges extra for a delivery charge. read more

It's OK, but not great pizza. The dough starts to taste pretty rubbery unless its RIGHT out of the oven. I've gotten it delivered a few times, and gone in for their slices other times. That being said the people that work there are cool, they will make custom slices for you, and they are fast and while not overly friendly, they get the job done in a pleasurable manner. read more

Tonight we ordered a large specialty pizza from Pizza Express. We also ordered a medium pepperoni, breadsticks and wings. When the food arrived, we were dismayed to find that pepperoni pizza and the breadsticks were burned, and a long brown hair embedded in the pepperoni pizza. Needless to say, we lost our appetites, and called Pizza Express to rectify the situation. We were told that we could return the order for a full refund, about $50. Of course we weren't asking for the $10. tip back, since it wasn't the drivers fault. We understand that accidents happen, however, we'd rather wait longer for the burnt food to be redone, and the hair was very apparent. But since the manager agreed to refund us, we readied the order for return. We had not touched any of it. When the driver returned, she only refunded us $15. for the pepperoni pizza and told us to do as we wished with the rest. So, either the manager lied when she stated we would be refunded by returning the untouched order, or the driver pocketed the unreturned $35. This was a horrible experience and we won't be ordering from you ever again. read more

Don't trust the app. I called after an hour, they said they didn't have our order. Then when I called back to find out an ETA, they told me it was a pick up. The yelp deal for $20 for $40 worth of food is outstanding. We got a lot of food for $20, enough for 2 large meals for 2 people. The quality of the food is excellent, pizza was yummy as were the wings. We got a small salad which was very big and full of ingredients. They definitely don't skimp at all. My bf asked for extra sauce and boy did they give us extra! The manager or owner was so nice and came by our table with some free cinnamon stick desserts. Those were also delicious. For this price, I really can't justify going to any other pizza place in this town. Well done Pizza Express! read more

This is more about the service than the food. You ever been so hungry that you're eventually NOT hungry? Yeah, that happened. I went in about 7:30PM to try their all you can eat deal for $6.99, seems like a pretty good deal. Granted it was pretty busy, so I knew it was a bit of a wait. At around 7:45, I saw the manager(I think he was the manager since he was wearing a different shirt from everyone else) he moved some tickets around and placed some at the beginning of line. A few minutes later, about 25 minutes from when I arrived, I asked about my order and was told it was going to be ready in a few minutes, so I waited. 15 minutes later, I was once again told it was going to be a few more minutes. By this time, about 40 minutes had passed since I first ordered my "all you can eat" pizza. Needless to say, I waited enough and left. No refund, no food, nothing...basically money was taken and no food provided. This was the first time I tried this deal and not sure if its coming to wait apart am hour before you eat, maybe it should be changed to "all you can wait"...and come on a full stomach, you'll be hungry by the time you get your food. read more

For delivery and convenience, AND quality ... I'm giving it 5 stars. The pizza is great and the wings are perfect. I DID ask about the wings because I HATE slimy pizza delivery wings, and the guy told me they were good, so I went with it and glad I did! because they were great with no "funky slimy pieces" I'm stoked on this place all around. This will pretty much be my go-to place to order delivery pizza and wings near home! Thanks you guys! read more

I'm giving this two stars because of their $20 for $40 yelp deal. Beware that you can only use it on the regular menu only. You cannot use it on any of their specials at all. The pizza is good but I felt like this was kind of a bait and switch. Lesson learned. We will not return. read more

Tried to order a pizza but they have ignored my 5 phone calls. They did this to me months ago too. Will never return.

I was told wait time was 30-40 minutes. An hour later I called and they said I was quoted the wrong wait time, the pizza had just left. 15 minutes later my pizzas got to my house. After all that, my pizzas were burned and there was Canadian bacon on one instead of regular bacon. Will not get anything there again. read more

This place was so good! I was sick of the chain pizza places and wanted something different and my daughter wanted chicken tenders. We got a little bit of everything, pizza, wings, salad, and tenders. The tenders were so good! I was expecting frozen deep fried tenders like most places, which we are fine with. But, they are hand breaded and homemade! They came with a lot, and are so good. Salads where good and big and their wings were amazing! You actually got 90% wings Everywhere else that I have gotten wings from in atown is the opposite, 90% drumsticks. They were the meatiest wings and pretty big as well. They are a little pricy but, if you want good quality food it is well worth the price. Their online ordering was easy and arrived within the time frame they provided. We Will definitely be ordering from them again. read more

This is a great pizza place for the price. Bette than Fatties and quick on delivery. I really love the garlic chicken pizza. Very tasty.

Hate to do this, but I have to knock PE down a couple pegs based on my last experience, based on two criteria. 1. I ordered a Pizza for pick-up like I usually do, and I was told 20-25 minutes. From the moment I placed my order to the moment I had the box in my hands, it was 40 minutes. A small annoyance waiting around for 15+ minutes, but enough to deduct a star. 2. I ordered an extra large canadian bacon, shrimp and jalapeno pizza (don't judge me). The candian bacon was cooked fine, but the shrimp and the jalapenos were just short of being burnt to a crisp. Maybe it was the weird combo of toppings that threw them for a loop. It won't stop me from coming back, it's a great value and close to my house, but I probably won't be trying that combo of toppings again, and maybe avoid ordering on a Friday night. read more
