The huge windows bring in so much natural light, and the cozy couch-style seating by the window made me want to stay for a while. The space is laid out really well--it feels open, comfortable, and inviting without being overwhelming. The staff was genuinely friendly. Order at the counter, someone checked in to make sure everything was going well, and another team member brought our food out. The service felt seamless, and I just felt good being there. I ordered the tuna melt, which was really good, and paired it with a chai latte. The chai had a stronger cinnamon flavor than I'm usually used to, but honestly, I enjoyed it. It paired really well with my meal, and by the end, I was glad I ordered it. The menu has so many options that I already know I need to come back. There were several dishes I wanted to try, and I also loved that they have pastries if you're just looking to grab something light with a drink or want a quick stop instead of a full meal. Another thing I appreciated is the location. It's surrounded by other businesses with a nice walkable area, so it's easy to make a morning or afternoon out of your visit. Even though I don't live in New Jersey, I'm already thinking about making another trip back. This feels like one of those places where you can meet a friend, get some work done, journal by the window, or have a casual meeting during a quieter time of day. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming, and their new space really reflects that. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

I know it sort of changed management to a lovely guy whose name I don't remember who when he first took over came out with samples of delicious specialty pizza and warmly greeted everyone. I placed an order for delivery two days ago. The pizza was good as usual but the lentil soup was really salty, no exaggeration enough to overpower any taste of lentils - I added two cups of water and threw in some ditalini, added garlic, and it was still salty. I'm not sure why that would happen but here's a full proof way to make good lentil soup: per pound of dry lentils, first sautee a chopped medium onion, chopped large stalk of celery and a large or two medium size carrots, two cloves of chopped garlic in some olive oil, then add the lentils, and around 3-4 inches of water above the line of lentils and allow to simmer, don't add salt until it's closer to the lentils being cooked. People with high blood pressure or pregnant cannot handle the amount of salt that was added. It was worse than canned soup. I have ordered it before, last time was around 4 years ago and it was fine. Of course, it may just be an error or a new person making the soup. I have thought that since the change in management, maybe a seasoned Italian woman cook in the kitchen might be a good addition to at least train the staff. I get the impression that the staff are more pizza makers than cooks. I ordered an artichoke not long ago that tasted good but was not fully cooked, my friend ordered lasagne that was covered in mozzarella and was probably over microwaved or however it is heated, and was like paste. This isn't intended to be rude but to point out that for the most part I like your food but feel like certain things can use more care.

For the most part, I opt for Vegan options though the eatery doesn't have a Vegan burger meal when I'm ordering closer to the end of their work day, so I order the Salmon meal for a higher protein meal. I prefer Salmon tender, moist, with cooking complete though unevenly (90%/70% though appropriate temperature) split between both sides on a flatter-grill like surface, and with an olive oil, lemon, basil leaf mélange as dressing. Consider the potential differences between boiling chicken and having a chicken in an oven, the Salmon from the eatery tastes closer to a chicken after being in an oven, particularly texture wise, the Salmon flavor is present though more of the interior of the flesh. The salad blend is really tasty. I enjoy eating the avocado (a nice dry, not slimy), with the lemon squeeze, bite by bite with the tomatoes and lettuce, quite refreshing and moisturizing after the Salmon. The Sweet Plantains are firm-soft with a dryer texture. A subtle sweetness is present though esch bite is a bit slow and rougher down the throat which makes me wonder if the banana is not completely ripe. The establishment offers a variety of seating options in a somewhat open space. The establishment accepts different forms of payment.
