The food is excellent. I haven't had anything bad here. The delivery drivers are super nice. The pizza is great, and so are the hoagies.

Always great service and great quality. The cheesy breadsticks are a must! Have been going here for years and have never been disappointed.

You can certainly eat in, but my preference is takeout. The restaurant excels at either. The only detail to note is that this is a cash-only operation, so be prepared. In terms of the actual food, the star of the show is clearly the pizza. I prefer the traditional pizza (i.e., with red sauce). No matter which pizza you order, this is a place that provides a pizza with an excellent crust. Large crumb. Good chew. It's probably the best crust in town. We ordered a series of vegetable toppings, and the result was great. Picking and choosing toppings seems like the best bet for a vegetarian experience. The Aiello's Salad was fine: about what you would expect for a pizza shop salad. The veggie hoagie was nicely flavored, with a good balance of flavor and acidity (from the dressing). The stuffed veggie slice was what it was. We tried it on a whim, and it came out exactly as described: two slices of veggie pizza stuck together. Fine, but not necessary if you're ordering pizza anyway. All told, this is an excellent destination. It's a real Squirrel Hill institution for a reason, and it continues to be worth checking out.

We visited this evening and service was a smidgen slow ... Which they attributed to having a large order for pickup. Yeah, large meaning 35 pizzas!!! That worked out to $950 some dollars and they were only accepting cash! Imagine your pizza being so good an after-wedding reception orders 35 of them ... Yep, Aiellos is that good. People growing up here have their favorites and Mineos was my fave for pizza and Napolis was my fave for hoagies. Or you could just go to Aiellos and everything is great!

Expansive Pittsburgh pizza dynasty with the maximum cheese allowed for proper pizza proportions…read more I love Mineo's. Big member of their fan club. We drive out from Monroeville just to grab their pies. Located in Squirrel Hill, parking can be a bit of a challenge, but there is a pay-to-park lot across the street tucked behind the businesses. Also, with old school class, Mineo's is cash only. They do have an ATM right in the store - in case you forgot. Dynasty loading - as they now have 4 shops including one directly in the Pittsburgh Airport (check their updated box logos with an airplane flying around!) All day. All year. Always- I would think to give Mineo's five stars, but this order was disappointing. The crust was over floured and lifeless, the cheese was missing the signature flavor pack of herbs, and the toppings were very clumped together under the cheese... but even these nitpicks- this place is a must go to! We ordered three large (and yes, that's a large large) pizzas - mushroom, extra cheese, and pepperoni. They are renowned for their thick layer of cheese with the toppings buried beneath. And this time, all of the pieces were well cut - which is rare. Service was quick. They know how to move through the takeout orders and even if they don't, pull up a seat and enjoy the theater of pizza making that you can witness in the expansive dining area.

I absolutely adore the servers here, as they're always super happy to give me new recommendations on what to order! Their wings are the literally best wings I've ever had, and I especially love that you can get them smoked to get that charred flavor. My favorite flavors are the mango habanero and the spicy lime, but there are still so many flavors I'm excited to try. I also love ordering a side of seasoned fries and garlic bread to dip into the extra wing sauce!! Their fries and garlic bread are crispy to perfection; you genuinely won't find better anywhere else. I also tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza as per their recommendation, and it was soooo cheesy and yummy! Aside from the food being so delicious, my favorite part about coming here is the sense of community you get. They have couches and TVs where customers love to sit to enjoy their food, and it makes for a super cozy and comfortable environment. I also notice so many regulars who love this restaurant and come back either weekly or daily, and it really shows how great the store's bond is with their customers. This is probably my go-to spot to show people when they visit Pittsburgh because it really highlights the city in such a positive light. If I had to recommend one spot in Pittsburgh, it would be this one!!!!

The toppings were about what you would expect, but overall nicely presented. My only minor feedback was that the pizza was a little light on tomato sauce. The house salad was also nicely done. At first, it looked a little heavy on the cheese, but there was plenty of lettuce and vegetable toppings to balance things out. It made for a nice pizza shop style salad. In terms of ordering, everything was fairly easy. They don't really have a web site, so the best option is to call to place an order. In terms of finding a menu, they seem to have menu photos listed on their Facebook page. Not ideal, but that's where they are. If all else fails, you can basically expect all the normal options for a pizza place. Also note that this is very much a takeout pizza establishment. The space really isn't optimized for dine-in options. All told, this is a solid destination. Certainly some of the best pizza in the Greenfield area.
