My husband and I went to Pizza bruno for the first time as my husband was craving pizza. We were there at opening time and were quickly seated. They have outside seating as well and when we went, they were playing 90's music which I enjoyed. I only wish I could of enjoyed their offerings as much as the music. The server told us they are popular for their famous garlic knots which is around $15 and sauce so we went ahead and ordered that first. My husband and I originally wanted to try different pizzas but before we could put in our order, the garlic knots came and they were huge. We then decided we would do one magherita pizza which was $20. Be prepared to spend $$$ as the pizzas here are on the pricy side. The garlic knots were just an overload of garlic parm sauce. I think it was good but I did not feel they were the best garlic knots I've ever tried. The marinara dipping sauce that it came with was a bit watered down and not really flavorful. The magherita pizza took about 20 minutes to make which our server let us know that it would take a while. The pizza was about 6 slices and I felt the ingredients didn't stand out. The cheese and sauce had no taste. For $20 and the amount of time that you have to wait, I expected to be wow'ed but it was just average. I can't justify the price for that amount of pizza as well. In terms of service, the male server was for the most part friendly but did not really make eye contact with me and would only look at my husband which made me feel a bit awkward. We were looking for a real fire cooked pizza. We found Bruno's had this. We were seated right away and the server was very friendly. We got some craft beers and they were cold. They delivered a plate of delicious looking olives. I don't like olives but my wife was in heaven. They were marinated and delicious she said. Our pizza came out soon and wow. It was cooked very good. Crispy pie with no flop. Even the crust was good. We added pepperoni to the Artie bucco pie. It was more than enough for us but we couldn't stop eating. My favorite little pizza spot in Orlando. The garlic knots are amazing and have a good helping of garlic and parm. The lemon ricotta meatball appetizer is another must try. You can't go wrong with their pizzas everything is amazing. We decided to try the Dirt Nap pizza with prosciutto and it was soo worth it! It was the perfect flavorful blend. Only recommendation is to cut the prosciutto in smaller pieces as it's a little bit of a choking hazard when chewing the long strips lol. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Went to Pizza Bruno for lunch and we were very disappointed. We first ordered their garlic rolls. They charge $12.00 for 4 medium size dinner rolls with olive oil and garlic drizzled on them. We ordered 2 pizzas, with meatball and cheese toppings, and even with 20/20 vision, you'd need a magnifying glass to see the meatball pieces and the cheese. They were not much larger than personal size pizzas and they charge $20.00 each. Their food was not prepared well, and their prices were ridiculous. Great pizza; way too expensive. Went with a friend today. We must've been between lunch and dinner because we were the only people there for about 30 minutes until someone else came in. Service was good; which I would expect if there are no other people there. We were seated immediately and got our drinks right away. After looking at the menu we ordered a side of meatballs and then two pizzas: the KBAR and the Blanca with prosciutto and basil. The meatballs came out after a few minutes. They were very good, especially with the lemon ricotta on the side. You only get three so we ordered an extra one. After some time the pizza came out. The KBAR was delicious and had a flavour underneath everything that I really enjoyed, even if I couldn't identify it. The Blanca had a nice fresh lemony flavour. I have no complaints about the food itself--everything was good. My biggest complaint is just the price. Neither myself or my friend must've been paying attention because when we paid, half and half, it came out to 40+ for each of us. 80 dollars for two pizzas, an appetiser, an extra meatball, and two softdrinks. Yikes. I definitely want to go back and try some of the other pizzas, like the Crimson Ghost, but it's never going to be a place I go to often because I'd never be able to afford it. 5 stars for food, 3 for price. read more

It is An absolute must is a visit to Bruno when in MCO. The MAIN reason for the first 3 visits here was the infamous GARLIC KNOTS. These ginormous warm buttery knots are covered in the most flavorful garlic in all mankind. You get three large knots in an order and honestly that could be your meal as it's been mine shared before. Our most recent and last visit in 2021 was to introduce our family to the knots and during this visit I found a new LOVE by way of pizza. I had a pie with no cheese and only artichoke, kale and mushroom. It was the most yummiest thin crust I've had in FOREVER . The kale was seasoned to perfection alongside the mushrooms. Walking into the restaurant, I felt like j was transported to a mom and pop pizza joint. I started with their slushy sangria, which was the perfect amount of sweetness and tart! Had I never asked for a receipt I never would have known. And then they have the audacity to have attitude when I ask for a refund. I've been dying to come here for years and finally got the chance to last night. Finally!! I've heard many great things about Pizza Bruno and my first impression was they are pretty great! I love wood fired pizza and I love that Pizza Bruno has all the classic styles to choose from and specialty pies as well. We ordered their famous garlic knots with a side of marinara. I love that they drowned the garlic knots in extra extra garlic and olive oil. They were so addicting that when we finished it, I was sad. I didn't get to say goodbye to my last bite. They were that good! I should've ordered an extra batch to go but I have a feeling that these would taste better fresh verses reheated. Oh so for the pizza.. we had a hard time deciding what to order since everything looked so appealing on the menu. We ended up ordering the Ninety-Two... it came with Italian sausage, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, oregano, red onions, chili flakes and pecorino. We've definitely been looking forward to checking this place out. We have actually tried coming in on 2 separate occasions but they seem to always be packed to the brim, coming in on a weekday did the trick although they still had a good amount of parties dinning in. The service was excellent, we were sat right away and given some olives to snack on which was a great treat! I've never been offered olives at a restaurant. We ordered the Ninety-two. The pizza took about 25-30 mins to arrive (the menu does say it can take around this time on a busy night) not an issue for us though. Once it arrived we realized it hadn't been cut so the server took it back and had it sliced. We of course started with the Garlic Knots which are huge and garlicky and oh so delicious. Have heard a lot about Pizza Bruno and was excited to check it out. Being COVID times, I opted to sit out on their patio rather than inside of the restaurant. They had a couple of heaters out there, but they, unfortunately, weren't working (it was a little cool that night so it would have been nice to have). We ordered the garlic knots and oh wow. These were some of the best garlic knots I've ever had. The "knot juice" was delicious. If you are a garlic lover, then you HAVE to order this. There were four knots in the order and they were loaded with the knot juice, so I was able to keep some leftover to have with the crust of my pizza. My party split two pizzas - the Crimson Ghost and the Tight Socks. The Crimson ghost had a drizzle of hot honey that was really nice. I think my favorite of the two was the Tight Socks. It had a sauce on it that was really garlicky that I enjoyed (guess I couldn't get enough garlic). For dessert we each got something different. I got the Nutella cannoli that was really nice. My husband ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was really rich and my friend ordered the chocolate torte. I didn't get a chance to try hers, but it looked really good. The service this night was a bit off. The servers we interacted with were all really nice, but there was some confusion on who was our server at the beginning. We eventually got it sorted out. Also, they told us they would get the heaters turned on, but it never happened. Finally, we asked the hostess as we were getting seated if they were dog friendly since we are looking for places to bring our pup to. She wasn't sure and said she was going to find out, but never came back. Overall, it is a solid place to grab a meal and I would totally go back to try them again. (I just don't recommend kissing anyone after) Pizza Bruno serves up some of the most consistently delicious pizza in town. Everything they serve is flavorful and exactly what I love in a pizza place. I've gotten a number of pizzas throughout the years and they always knock it our of the park. My favorite is the Crimson Ghost and Tight Socks. The pizza is Napoleon style, so it's a thin crust. The server, Laina, was fabulous. I was not a fan of the food. We ordered a KBAR Pizza and a meatball hero. Thin pizza crust isn't my favorite and it didn't have sufficient sauce. The crust, however, was flavorful though tough. It was also so thin, there were holes in the slices. The hero was huge. The bread, again was flavorful: crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The sandwich required a knife and fork to eat is as it was too big to bite. The meatballs were lacking in the spices I equate with an Italian meatball. It was covered in cheese but the sandwich was on the dry side. We asked for additional sauce and that improved the flavor overall. The prices are on the high side. It is located inside of a strip mall.. which we came close to passing. No reservations were needed, we just walked up to the host and we waited 10 mins for a table. I kept seeing this place pop up on my social media feed where people were raving about them so I had to venture out and see what the fuss is all about. I came here on a weeknight at 7pm, and there was already a line forming out the door. Hoards of people came after me so I would venture out and say that the earlier you come here, the better. Regardless if its a weeknight or weekend - they get busy. And for good reason. Plan accordingly. I was a party of 3 and waited for about 25 minutes. It wasn't terrible. We sat down and first things I noticed was that it was SMALL. Not big at all, very homey and a quaint atmosphere. The music was very loud but not surprised at that. It's a pizzeria! Our waiter was very friendly, and funny; but not attentive at all. I understand that they were really busy and most likely understaffed- but for a party of 3 with a small order, we were left unattended longer than we should have. But it's okay! The experience kept me there. We ordered simple. Garlic rolls and two pies. Margherita & Crimson Ghost. Firstly, the garlic rolls were the best garlic rolls I've ever had in my life. They PILE on the garlic - like so much garlic my mouth had a tinge afterwards. I LOVED IT. Being italian, there is no such thing as too much garlic. It came with a side of sauce and it was just perfection. I can't explain how happy my taste buds were with the overdose of garlic. YUM. GET THE GARLIC ROLLS!!!!! The pizza was another hit. The Crimson ghost had amazing flavor. The Mike's Hot Honey paired perfectly with the soppressata and it popped. My only qualm with the crimson is that it wasn't enough spice. We had Pizza Bruno cater the surprise birthday party for my husband's 60th. They rolled the stone pizza oven in our driveway and set up an excellent pizza bar with Margherita, Crimson Ghost, and Blanca for our guests. We also had the chopped salad, meatballs, and lemon ricotta. All of our guests raved about the food-it was so fresh, well-prepared, and authentic. Working with Lila and Bruno to plan the event was so easy. They really make such an effort to get all of the details right.
