I was in the area for some business and noticed Pizza Bruno at the corner so after a family member mentioned that the Pizza was delicious I decided to pop in to check the menu. The ambiance was fun and the establishment was packed which told me it has to be good! I ordered the Roasted Beet Salad ( i just love beets) and the Margarita Pizza to go. We re-heated the Pizza at home in the oven for about 5-6 minutes and enjoyed it with the beet salad. Oh my gosh super tasty and delicious. Loved it a lot. Cheese was a bit on the low side so there was more more in areas than cheese covering the slice minus the top crust. Nevertheless the Pizza was very yummy and we will definitely be back and hope to dine im next time :) read more

We tried Pizza Bruno for a second time recently using their delivery option. For this order, we decided to try the kbar pizza and an order of garlic knots. Ordering was easy and the meal came within the given timeframe. The garlic knots alone are worth a visit in my opinion. They are amazing! For a to go order, they pack the sauce separately so you don't end up with soggy rolls. The rolls have a good flavor on their own and are nice and soft, and the garlic sauce is plentiful so you can load up your roll to your heart's content! The kbar pizza is pretty good. I love the fact that Pizza Bruno offers a lot of unique topping options and that the pizza is a different style from what you typically find around town. This pizza wasn't quite a slam dunk for me. There was a slight bitter flavor that I couldn't really pinpoint that took away from the pizza as a whole. It wasn't enough to ruin it, but I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. My boyfriend also noticed it as well. I'd still return again though because I want to try more of their flavor combos and I do feel like they put a lot of love into their recipes overall. read more

It was AWESOME! We got the plain and The Ghost with soppresata and hot honey. Hot honey on pizza? We were intrigued. OMG, The Ghost was amazing. The sweetness along with the saltiness from the salami along with just a touch of heat. What a great combo. The plain was also great. High quality cheese and a great sauce that's bright without being tart. And for those crust lovers out there, this was the best crust we have ever had. I am very disappointed and would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ORDER DELIVERY from this establishment. Me and a group of friends were here on vacation and had seen a Dave Portnoy review about this pizza. As such we were very excited to try it and ordered pizza for delivery after getting back from our day outing. We ordered the pizzas at around 7:45pm through Pizza Bruno's website. We received our pizzas at 9:00pm. I understand the wait except when we received the pizzas they were ICE COLD to the point of being almost stale. I specifically ordered through the company website in the hopes that the service would be good in regard to getting hot or at least warm pizza. Instead our pizzas were hard/cold and there was a big uber Eats sticker on the box. Through the website you also auto tip drivers, so if it's a transport issue the establishment should reevaluate that setup. I tried to call the location's number (Curry) but they did not answer as they may have closed for the day. Overall we ended up ordering from Giordano's and received hot pizza just NOT from Pizza Bruno. First time on Friday night and left a bit disappointed. Perhaps hearing about the Michelin shout out set my expectations unrealistically high. Place had a cool vibe. Maybe a bit loud for me, but nothing I would mark off for. I tend to like things a bit quieter but realize others like it louder. No biggie. I was really hoping to get something closer to pizza I've had on some on my travels. It wasn't bad, just not my jam. I've had crazy great pizza in Kansas City and this wasn't it. Didn't get a salad but based on what I saw at tables nearby, they looked amazing. Also the payment method was weird. Never saw an itemized bill until after we paid. I've never had a bad meal at Pizza Bruno- both dining in and to-go. Last night we got to eat on their cute side patio and it was wonderful. Their menu is all so tempting but we ended up with the octopus appetizer and their pizza of the day- Uncle Paulie. What a great choice for both! Their drinks menu has something for everyone too from wine to spirits and a great list of local beers. I had the Negroni spritzer which was so refreshing. The octopus is cooked perfectly and served with seasonal veggies in a cold salad style. Drool. And the pizza crust is so perfectly charred and chewy. One of my fav local pizza spots in town with friendly staff. The vibe is casual and not fussy, you go there for the pizza not atmosphere. My fiancé is a pizza fanatic and he loves it here as well. They love garlic here in the best way! The pizza only comes one size about a 12", there are many sauces and toppings to choose from (average price $15), entrees, appetizers, desserts and beer/ wine. This is our favorite restaurant in all of Orlando, hands down. Pizza is a commodity, but finding a local pizzeria that deliberately sources very high quality ingredients to make excellent pizzas and dishes is much harder to find. It's a small business and they take care of their patrons. What may be even better than the pizzas are the garlic knots (made with "too much garlic") - locals know to put in your order as soon as you get to the table. Kind of a hipster atmosphere, but the music was a little loud. Kind of hard to have a conversation. I had the Bianca pizza and tomato salad with fresh mozzarella. And had ricotta with lemon in it, which I wasn't crazy about, but it was still good. I enjoyed the dough too. It wasn't too thick. Horrible Go to College Park instead of Curry Ford for to get what you pay for! I ordered 3 pizzas and some knots this is my first time at this location. I always go to College Park where the service and pizza is amazing. I pay extra on all on the pizza for extra cheese and basil and on the cheese pizza I asked for extra cheese. I believe I paid 3.00 + dollars for each pizza to have extra cheese and almost 2.00+ to have extra basil on 2 of the pizza. And obviously they don't know the difference of well done either. I get maybe 4 specs of basil and definitely not enough cheese. I called to complain 30 min prior to closing and no one picks up the phone and I just left so I know it's not busy. I don't understand how this place got 4 stars. If you want Bruno's drive to College park. Your service and pizza will be worth it. It has to be the area because I just don't understand how u charged me almost 13.00 dollars more for extra and I barely get anything extra I paid for. You be the judge look at the photos. And customer service is stupid too, they act like they don't want to service you if you come in at 9:01 but they close at 9:30. Won't ever go here again. Not everything can live up to the hype unfortunately. Maybe I'm spoiled by some local pizza but this was a mix bag for me. What great the Kale salad amazing . Good but interesting the socks pizza gouda is a strong cheese it worked but didn't wow me. The okay but disappointing was the garlic knots it was the most hyped thing going end failed to even come close to be slightly impressed. As for restaurant I came right when open service was good restaurant it self was bit dirty. So I let this sit based what had as at between 3.5 and 3 but I have to give it 3 based on what they had. So there are many types of Pizza...the most predominant would be NY Style and Neapolitan style - how it was originally made. Pizza Bruno is of the Neapolitan variety. Pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven. You'll see wood-fired or coal-fired ovens; pizzas made in each are cooked in a matter of 2-3 minutes. That said, Pizza Bruno was so busy, i waited for 45 minutes for my take out order. This place is consistently rated one of the best pizzas in Orlando and it shows. I tried the Margerita and Crimson Ghost pizzas - and because of the long wait time, they felt bad for me and give me some complementary meatballs. The Margerita was very good - i really loved the char on the crust - this is what makes a wood/coal-fired pizza stand out. The Crimson Ghost was very good - i liked the Mikes Hot Honey on it but felt that the sopressata was flavorless - maybe another time, it might be different - but honestly felt that Antica Pizza had a better rendition. Meatballs were very good - being Italian, though, i prefer my Nona's but not everyone can have those. But well worth it! Definitely going back, and back again read more

Update: The owner contacted me immediately after I reached out and rectified the situation as well as removed the incorrect and outdated "special" from their website. This goes a long with me and I appreciate the desire to make things right. Ordered to go and ordered a "special" advertised on their website for a salad, pizza, and box of house made Italian cookies. Sounded pretty awesome! When I went to pick it up I asked about my cookies and was told it comes with a cannoli?! Well that was a huge disappointment and considering no one called to tell me this ahead of time and of course I prepaid, I was not very happy. They were busy and there were people behind me so I didn't want to make it a big deal, However when I came come and looked at the individual prices of everything it wasn't a special at all, and considering I didn't want a cannoli I could have saved myself $7. I tried to call a few times to talk to a manager the next day to see what their response was but no one ever answered the phone. Unfortunately I have to leave a review in the hopes that no one else decides to buy the "special" because most of their pizzas are less than the one I bought so you wouldn't be getting a good deal at all. I am absolutely a fan of Pizza Bruno. We have tried quite a few different pizza places around Orlando now, and while we've definitely found some other good ones, this place blew us away. It is exactly the kind of pizza that we like, with a nice thin crust and cooked perfectly. I for our pizzas we got just a margarita and a blanca. There is only one size pizza but it was actually very filling with the addition of the garlic knots that we started with (which were ginormous). We also took home the crimson ghost pizza for the next day which we loved even more. If you are looking for some good European style pizza, I highly recommend. We came on a friday night and the atmosphere was so nice! We ended up sitting at the bar and we're greeted by the bartender. She was nice and friendly, but she lacked quality customer service. When we asked her if she had any seltzers she didn't know and she didn't want to offer me any recommendations, such as like ciders or something else which is fine not a big deal. We ordered the wings and garlic knots to start and the garlic knots were SO DELICIOUS! Best part of the night for sure. The wings were cold, but so deceiving because they looked amazing. We ordered the 'roni pizza which was ok. We heard amazing reviews from friends about the pizza because we love spicy pizza, but to us the cheese slid off and the the pizza was so burnt, super disappointing. I think the worst part was the service. The bartender forgot about us, was super slow, and was mostly in her phone. She was super nice, just not that great of a bartender. We first came to here a couple months ago and LOVED IT, the food and the service but after this recent visit I don't think we will be coming back. read more

This place is me and my sisters go to for pizza/wings/yummy salads. Their Margherita pizza is literally to die for. Every time you order a pizza, they cook it fresh right there for you. The lemon picatta wings are literally so amazing, and don't get me started on the wedge salad. They use fried pepperoni instead of bacon and it was so delicious. Also, our server Jack was so incredibly nice, funny and recommended so many great things. This is our 3rd or 4th time being there, and every time we have had a new waiter, and every time they have been so nice, helpful, not too pushy, and just so sweet. And the whole time we were eating he played the best music and we felt like we were Remi from Ratatouille trying the cheese and grapes Lol. We absolutely recommend this place 100000000x. read more

Awesome garlic knots with enough garlic to last you for a month! The bread is crisp but chewy and just pure deliciousness! We got the pizza with the kale and added mozzarella so it was basically veggie pizza. The crust was thin enough but got a little thick toward the end. They have a nice variety of pizzas and if you don't eat the garlic knots, then you can eat your own. They have a nice wine and beer menu, as well as alcohol. It was my husband's birthday and he LOVES pizza, so he found this place on Yelp! When we walked in, it was pretty dead. I was relieved because we had a party of 13 total. We walked in a little before 5 PM and didn't realize it was almost happy hour. The restaurant quickly filled! The staff was all friendly and accommodating for our huge party during happy hour. Max was so pleasant and the staff worked together to get our food out efficiently and accurately. I am not a huge pizza fan, but I like it occasionally. After 45 minutes of waiting, I took my to go order home and had the absolute pleasure of opening the most burnt excuse of a pizza I've ever seen in my life. It boggles my mind that multiple staff saw this shoddy excuse for a hockey puck and felt it was appropriate to serve. What a joke. No wonder it took so long, apparently they needed to burn every piece. Do yourself a favor - if you're thinking of going to Pizza Bruno, take $20 out of your wallet, throw it out the window, and then go to the Little Caesar's next door. You will still come out ahead. Wow! Officially my new favorite pizza place! They do not have a phone, you must go in to place an order fyi. I have visited Pizza Bruno a few times now and have NEVER been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I'd first like to give a shot-out to Carly and Max for their awesome hospitality every time I come in. Carly either works behind the bar or serving tables. She keeps a great attitude and has such awesome energy about her. Max keeps a smile on his face and gives great service to each and every customer he encounters. The entire staff works together effortlessly. You can tell the difference in the atmosphere when staff members are more like family! The chefs are always jamming out making the best pizzas, and I love that. The vibes inside Pizza Bruno are always fun. Its more on the hipster side :) They just recently started a happy hour with great specials offered everyday. When you walk in, the lighting setting is more intimate which is what I love. You can sit inside or out. I like to sit at the bar and eat my food there. The decorations all around the walls are so cute. You can tell the owner takes pride in his name and the restaurant. I have ordered a couple of different pizzas and they are made from scratch inside the fire oven. Every single ingredient is so fresh and tasty! One hell of a menu they have! The ranch is even homemade and yummy. They have their liquor license now, lots of different beers on draft and other canned drinks. The liquor selection is great btw! Stopped in for dinner recently while on vacation. Simple parking in their lot, arrived early for dinner and didn't have any wait. Location has several indoor and several outdoor patio tables. We started off with the garlic knots, 4 large fluffy/doughy balls covered as described in garlic and butter. The tomato sauce that comes with the garlic knots is so fresh and flavorful, complements them perfectly. We ordered 6 buffalo wings which were okay, but not crispy and the sauce is quite salty, likely doesn't need the parmesan cheese on top - I would suggest ordering them without the cheese. The chopped salad is very fresh with a nicely seasoned vinaigrette dressing, very few olives and sliced veggies on a base of mixed greens and romaine. The pizza was large enough to share and we went classic with half cheese and half pepperoni. They are generous with the cup and char pepperoni. Staff was attentive, helpful, and pleasant. Prices are reasonable. We would highly recommend stopping in and we will be back. They have a great take-out set up with a separate entrance making it less chaotic during busy times. read more

So much flavor without any sauce is a feat, but PB rises to the occasion. Nonnie knows best features their delicious sauce and always a favorite their meatballs! Now I know you've probably read a bunch of reviews that yap on and on about the garlic knots...they're all right, those suckers are totally satisfying. BUT! Do not sleep on the sheep's ricotta which comes with a loaf of fresh baked bread. Yes, a loaf. I now have become that person who orders the same thing almost every time because it truly is that good. Now the star of the menu to me is hands down, The Kale Salad. A salad that outshines a pizza?!? Yes. I said what I said. This salad is my absolute favorite. First of all it is huge.
