I was at a nearby doctors office and they had Pizza Bella's menu hanging on the bulletin board. I decided I was hungry enough to try a local spot since the place was open for an early lunch. The wrap was uniquely crispy and allowed for the flavor contents to shine but also to hold it all together. The sauce and cheese didn't overpower anything and juicy flavor was all that dripped off, rather than offputting grease all too familiar for a pizza joint. The prices are fairly reasonable and I can imagine the food is best when eaten fresh. I'll save this for a future visit! read more

Dishonest and deceptive pricing. We ordered the appetizer sampler, large cheese steak and 1 large pizza. The food was good... The problem .. The prices on the menu do not match the prices I was charged. For example : The appetizer sampler on the menu was 18.99, but I was charged 22.99... The Stromboli cost more as well. I mentioned this to the kitchen manage. He pointed out that on the back of the menu tucked on the bottom in small print it says "prices are subject to change without notice". All in all the bill came to about 70.00 by with gratuity, it came to 85.00. I felt cheated. read more

Not being from the area, we stopped in for lunch. My son ran in and asked if they were open. Yes. So I get my 83 year old mother out of the car and we proceeded to go inside. Only to find out it was take out only. We opted to wait... But they refused my mother a seat in an air-conditioned building, stating we had to wait outside in 87 degree heat. The girl brought it out to us, including NO utensils or Napkins... We basically had to eat in a parking lot in our car. Pizza was Luke warm and it was a good half hour wait. I love the chicken wing pizza here. I order it often. I think their wings are very good and cooked just right, however I am not impressed with their sauces. Last week I ordered Pizza Bella from the Hanover location and they said it would be an gour. I was okay with it because lunch was at 12 and I made sure to call early at 11:00. A little late would not have been a big deal. So the pizza doesnt get there until 1:00 and all of my employees had already clocked back in. The delivery driver tells me that they got a huge order after I called from Geisinger and thats why it took so long. I couldnt believe it. I valled first and they said an hour so why did that order from Geisinger get delivered first? He then says. It's hot and fresh if thats what you are worried about. "No! Im upset because I was ordering for my employees who are now disapointed and are back to work." I did end up pulling them off the floor and letting them eat, but that never should have happened. I love Pizza Bella pizza. I could eat it every night. The chicken wing pizza is the best I've ever had! Nice big juicy pieces of breaded chicken, lots of wing sauce, cheese and a thick crust. You also get a side of blue cheese. Get the hot sauce, not the mild, its really not that hot. Their antipasto is also very good. We've had a few of the subs and my son loves the meatball parmigiana. Haven't really tried much else on the menu as we always want the pizza! Pizza Bella is ALWAYS crowded and expect to wait for your order, it's worth the wait! Staff is always friendly and efficient no matter how busy they are. Parking is awful though, its a small corner lot but there is street parking on the side street as well. read more

Consistently terrible service. Was in recently for lunch with my wife. One table. Same rude waitress didn't bother to write down our order. So when it came out incorrectly, had to talk to 3 different people about why it was incorrect. I actually pointed at the item on the menu. Then she proceeded to passive aggressively mock the cook that handled my issue by repeating 'same thing.' She didn't bother to check on us the rest of our dining experience. The food is great, but get takeout and don't deal with the rude service at this location. We're actually boycotting from now on. It seems most people usually only leave reviews when they've had a negative experience so I thought this restaurant deserved some positive. We ordered yesterday for a family of five and had a very pleasant experience. From the woman who took our order over the phone to the young man at the front, they were all very polite and courteous. The food was great - we got a few pizzas, cheesesteaks, and some snack stuff like Mac & cheese bites and mozzarella sticks. Inside the business was clean. I am on the keto diet so the cauliflower pizza is my go to! It is incredible and taste just as good as the real thing. My only complaint about this place is that the staff can sometimes be really rude if you're calling in an order. I ordered pizza and Turkey clubs last night.. i asked to add onions, loose the tomatoes, provolone instead of American cheese and oil and vinegar on the side. I looked at my receipt when it was delivered and saw a bunch of xtra charges. I called to question them and their answer was when u change it you pay for it. What really got me was the $1.25 for the oil and vinegar on the side and i only got it on the side so my bun wouldnt b soggy.. her response? Its considered xtra on the side. WHAT? I guess when u order French fries....don't ask for salt!!! So im not ordering from here any longer...and i suggest if anyone wants a turkey club just call and ask for a soggy sub with no taste.. i was a good customer until last night. My boyfriend ordered a chicken cheese steak pizza because he doesn't eat beef. They delivered a regular cheese steak pizza we called back and complained and they said they'd have another pizza delivered as soon as possible. The delivery driver proceeded to tell us that the manager wanted 80% of the messed up pizza returned. This has happened to him before where management has told the delivery driver that they want the pizza returned. Will not be ordering from them again. read more

Sometimes when I eat Pizza Bella, I ask my roommates (A girl - with a strong tude) a classic stoner type who usually wears a robe, and a half-jewish guy who likes soccer) why we continue to order it. It's not that the food is bad, I mean sometimes I've even talked highly of the wings -- and the girl (okay, it's my girlfriend, we've been living together for years and have a dog together, we have to have roommates because of the economy - Thanks Obama!) has talked highly about the fried veggies. Delivery takes from anywhere to over an hour and the rest of your life. Sometimes I feel like I've already eaten, got diarehha from the food and went to bed and it hasn't even arrived yet. They got one cool delivery driver I'd think about buying a beer for, but this guy also doesn't have a heavy foot. Look I know delivery drivers don't want to get pulled over for speeding - but can't they live just a little more dangerously so my stomach doesn't eat itself? One time the guy who loves soccer sooooo much (his words not mine) went Omega and nearly punched the table in half because he had to go to work and his soggy food still wasn't here. Food isn't terrible but certainly not the best. The building is always dirty and dusty. The ceiling last time I went was brown and bulging like moldy water was about to bursg out of it. I even found a dead bug which was PAINTED OVER. Yes. They actually painted over its smushed body..... my friends and I found it amusing and pathetic. I love it here. And I never leave reviews. I live 5 minutes or less from here. I called and gave a woman my order for delivery she told me 30 minutes. I waited an hour and called. And was told that it usually takes an hour. I called back 30 minutes later. Now it's been an hour and 30 minutes. I told a man my problem and he put me on hold. He picked up 2-3 minutes later and asked if it was "pick up or delivery". I told him i just talked to him and he remembered. He told me it would be here in 5. I just got my order at 8:34. When we finally got our order we got mixed wing no extra blue cheese. And a soggy cheesesteak pizza with peppers onions and mushrooms. I was just going to deal with it until i hit the peppers and onions so i called and they were going to send out the right order they then call back and said that is was basically too late and they credited my order which was ok considering we can't eat most of it basically only the wings we will eat but this is the first time in probably 7 years since we ordered from this pizza bella and they are making the same mistakes. We waited a half hour for two cold subs while the rest of the staff goofed around and many times walked away from preparing our food. I love this place and miss it dearly since we moved away. We used to go here almost every weekend and ordered pizza, wings, or the spaghetti and meatball dinner - my favorite was the taco pizza! I don't know where they get their Ranch dressing, or maybe it's the seasoning, but I LOVE the side salad!!!
