While it's a bit weird that such a large restaurant that also sells alcohol doesn't take credit cards.... Everything about this place is great. Their pizza is PERFECT! Doughy and crispy! Not sure if all the good reviews are fake or what. Hands down the worst pizza I've had in a long time. The ingredients and toppings taste similar to institutional grade food like they used to serve in the 80's at hospitals and schools. The service was severely lacking also, only saw the waiter when he was bringing out food. No checking in to see how our food was (guess he already knows it's garbage) or if drink refills were needed. $65 for 12 sub-par wings and a tray of some disgusting pizza that you can tell has the cheapest ingredients the restaurant can find. We had a lot of left over pizza that was boxed to go and we left it at the restaurant, didn't want to deal with throwing it out later. Will never be back, it was a huge disappointment. read more

The pizza is quite literally that-perfect! As are their chicken wings! Pizza Perfect has this utterly amazing grabbing a tray of pizza with your family as a kid in the 1990s vibe. Just nostalgic feeling as hell but I've only ever been there twice. You can't go wrong with ordering their traditional pizza that comes with light onions on it, just note it's cut old forge (square) style and there's 18 slices in a full tray. My uncle made the mistake of ordering two of these in addition to a crazy amount of appetizers and the pizza just kept on coming out and we were doubled over laughing at how much food we had ordered. read more

When dining rooms were open, we'd always make a point to stop here for a great time on the way to or from our weekend hideaway cabin in NEPA. Even during covid, this place is doing a great job managing takeout orders at peak volume hours. Nothing to say other than this Pizza is Perfect! I haven't been here in about 4 years (I used to work in the area) and nothing has changed. This was the first time my husband was visiting here as well. We weren't planning to stay to eat there, just pick up and take with us. We had been camping for the weekend and wanted to take some pizza on our way home. We ordered 2 sheets for their regular pizza. It came to about $50 but I'll tell you IT IS WORTH IT. We waited about 15-20 mins for the order and while we were waiting some employees were fixing the train that is hung in the air that travels around the restaurant. When it came time to fire up the engine, the guy let me kids (ages 2 and 4) "help" get the train going. They were excited about that. Like I said, I've never eaten in the restaurant but it is very clean and welcoming...like a big step up from a normal 'pizza joint'. The decorations are nice and they have tv's that were playing soccer games when we were there. We got our pizza and took the long ride home. When we got home we ate. It was exactly what we remembered...Perfect Pizza...Old Forge style (American cheese and onions in the sauce with a thick crispy cake like crust). I love you Pizza Perfect. read more

Right off of South Memorial Highway is one of my favorite places to go in Dallas / Shavertown. Pizza perfect is pretty near perfect as long as Pepsi products are okay. Their food which hasn't changed in the years I've been going is great! What I get doesn't seem like much nor hard to make but there's something special about the pizza, wings, and of course waffle fries. Whether it was for a party or just dinner with one other person, the food and service never disappoints! If anything, give it a try to see the train they have running everyday of the year, it's the cherry on top of a great restaurant! read more

This place is meh almost everything was fried. It was a cash trap. Service was rude and in a rush to be pleasant when there were 2 people waiting tables and staff behind the desk maybe 8 tables were busy. The waiter did not offer us all menus there was 2 menu on the table there is 4 of us. When we asked for menu it was a bother and he gave us one. The Waiter dropped a tray of fried food tray at table and said he would be back for the tray. Not even handling is the food we had to load it off the trays ourselves, then he gave us a pitcher of water not even offering to wait on us by pouring water. I asked 3 times for a box for my fried plate. They do not take credit cards do you have to use their ATM to get cash or write a check ... who carries checks They charge $2.50 for atm so then u get big bills the waiter only gives you 5's and 10's change and stood there as you give him a tip. Which I had was a $10 in a $44 bill His service was not great and he did not deserve a 24% tip. I would say avoid this cash trap. read more

So this is probably the most different type of pizza you can get of you do NOT live in the Wilkes Barre area. So what can I say about this pizza since it is hard to explain. First off it's a rectangular pizza (see pics) It is served in cuts not slices. You pay per cut And a "whole tray" is similar to a "pie" Now the consistency is as if you pan-fried the crust. The texture of the dough is like the middle of a Sicilian slice but half the thickness. The sauce is more sweet than salty. And the cheese is well... Cheese. If you come as a first timer you'll need at least 5 cuts for yourself. The pizza is amazing. A totally different pizza experience that you'll ever have. I highly recommend this location for its quaint and timely decor. It's simple. It's pizza done different. But done right. You have to try if you're here in PA. Also try the BBQ wings. I just made my first visit to PP in a while when I was back in town visiting my parents. They definitely still have it! We ordered 6 slices of pizza, 30 wings, and an order of the Mixed Beer Battered Veggies. The pizza was so tasty! We got 2 corner cuts - the Pizza Perfect first timer in the crowd remarked that the onions in the sauce take a little getting used to but are a really surprisingly unique and delicious element. The wings were great as always and the mixed beer battered veggies are plentiful and tasty. I am such a big fan of this place - great food, helpful staff, cool atmosphere. Awesome. read more
