For lunch, I typically go with an order of their garlic knots, which comes in orders of six and are massive in both size and flavor; typically paired with a slice of plain pizza or a garden chicken cheesesteak. Started with stuffed long hots no bread. Kept asking for it but it was always in the oven. Never came out. I had the crab soup. Gritty and thin. Didn't even come close to finishing it. Mom got chicken noodle. More like celery broth. Husband had chicken Milanese. chicken was good, up charge with pasta instead of potatoe they got the sauce wrong. Dad got the seafood with penne. He never even came close to finishing it. It was terrible. Last but not least my sister had just the brusetta. Bread not even warm and topped with what looked like American. Also didn't eat it. We have been here before the fire and it was wonderful. Never again. Fool me once shame you fool me twice shame on me. If I could give it any less than one I would.

Maybe it's the nostalgia having grown up with Antonio's, maybe they're really as good I would like to think, regardless, I think they'll always have a special place in my heart and in my stomach. My picture is a mini thick sweet, and that's exactly how you order it. Calling Angelo's is a journey, they are operating off of a single land line so you usually have to call 2, 3, or seriously on busy nights or a Friday during lent 20+ times. From there you tell them the size, crust type (regular or thick), sauce type (regular or sweet) and then any toppings. Be prepared to wait at least 30 mins, but in many cases over an hour. While this sounds like an awful experience, it's certainly worth it. This pizza incredible. Last time I stopped by it was cash only, but there's an ATM.
