Was in town for a Spartan race and needed something solid after a long day--Antonio's did not disappoint. We ordered two large pizzas delivered to our hotel about 10 minutes away. The gentleman who took our order over the phone was incredibly kind and helpful. We got a large pepperoni, sausage, and meatball pie, and a large spinach and ricotta. The slices? Absolutely massive. Four of us--starving--couldn't even finish both pies. Crust was cooked to the perfect crunch, toppings were fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do. I'm giving this spot a 4 Star because it's my first time here. I'll adjust it as needed in the future. It's a super casual Italian grubbery on a very small strip mall next to a laundromat, a Rite Aid and a grocery store that would not let me use their bathroom. Go figure. The service was as expected. A lot of elderly regulars came and went. There's one cook and the guy at the counter - who I guess is the owner. The pizza looked good. I ordered Chicken Parmesan and a Steak Sandwich "ToGo". I'll let you know once I've tried it. The Steak & Cheese was ground beef. Not sure if it's a normal thing. I'm used to thinly sliced steak in my Cheesesteaks. I asked for mushrooms and hot peppers - the mushrooms were canned and the peppers were not spicy. They use the pickled yellow peppers. The sandwich was HUGE!! I'm not sure what it weighed in at but I'm guessing 2 lbs easy! It could've used more flavor - maybe a little beef base - but, it was good. I ordered a Chicken Parmesan thinking I was ordering the dinner then I noticed the cook was making a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich - which wasn't what I had pointed at but, that's on me. I should've read it as it appears on the menu, Linguini w/ Chicken Parmesan. I'll update once I've tried it tomorrow. They offer quite a few options. And the desserts sound really good as well. We were pleased tonight to learn that our closest Pizza place offered delivery! Not a big deal to everyone, but where we live, it is! It was fast, good, and HOT!! Impressive! The delivery guy was super polite! Please make sure if you order delivery... please remember the cost of gas and give something extra! 3.5 stars. The food was good. My husband's eggplant parm was DELICIOUS! Spaghetti was cooked well and the eggplant parmigiana was delicious. My dish was the meatballs with cavatelli. Unfortunately, my cavatelli was overcooked and soggy. Even my husband who can eat my leftovers was not interested in the pasta. The meatballs are very tasty though. I've had great pizza from this place, and I've had terrible pizza. Several times I ordered pepperoni and they didn't put it on the pizza until AFTER it was baked. Once the sauce was sour and we couldn't eat it. There's no consistency in quality the way there was when the original owner was still living. I honestly don't see how people rate this place above two stars. The pizza was not good. Needed more sauce, less crust, and cooked a little longer. We got two pies for 5 people, and all of us agreed. Maybe because we're from NYC, but still... My friend then went back two days later for a slice, and after me telling him that it was not good, he went, "how bad could it be?..." after taking a few bites, he didn't finish it. The guy behind the counter seems nice, and it's cool they support other businesses in the area, and the memorabilia on the wall. Being from NY I surround by Italian Food. This was not great . Pizza cheese was like rubber not much sauce . The cannolis has some sort of watery texture with weird jelly like lumps . On the plus side they are one of the few places that deliver however it's really expensive. read more

If you're visiting on vacation and you want to order call Antonio's! I'm not sure why the one person said the pizza wasn't tasty. I'm from New York and I know good pizza. It's authentic. Authentic NY style pizza is not supposed to have a lot of sauce. I usually have to ask other pizza parlors to add extra garlic to make up for their lack of taste. But not Antonio's. Nutshell: One of the best places in the area. Go here & eat pizza! Review: Upon walking into this little shop you immediately realize you've walked into a local's dream. It's a little jarring, walking into an "italian" shop with NASCAR stuff everywhere, but you quickly move past that when you notice the delicious pizzas and other items in the tiny glass case. You see them making fresh foods to order and locals happily coming into the shop in a never-ending stream. You peruse the walls and learn that the shop's been around for quite a while and seems to solidly be a family business and... ...and then the moment of truth comes because the pizza you ordered is finally ready. You pop the top on your cream soda and dig in to discover that not only does it look like a great pick, it actually IS one. I've only had the pizza but it's darn tasty and despite me eating an entire medium one by myself I didn't even get my usual heartburn because it wasn't overly greasy. Friday night my boyfriend and I called in an order of 12 mild wings and Stromboli at 8:45pm. The woman whom I spoke with on the phone quoted us 20-25 minutes. We arrived at 9:10, being a gentleman my boyfriend went in to grab the food. He comes out 15 minutes later with no food. Not one employee has the decency to acknowledge him or the fact that our food wasn't done yet. Specifically, the 12 wings we ordered (30 minutes earlier) were not ready due to the fact the employees were preparing food for themselves. Understandably, I walked in upset and asked when our wings would be finished. Again, no one said hello or acknowledged the fact that our food was STILL not ready. The middle aged high school dropout man behind the counter seemed confused and had a limited ability to correct the decision beyond screaming at me that our Stromboli came out of the oven" 7 minutes earlier". In total we spend $34 for Stromboli and a dozen wings and waited nearly 45 minutes for the food we had nicely called in prior. The food was mediocre, and the wings needed to be cooked once I got back into the house. Unfortunately, the food was not the worst part of our experience. The very obvious racism displayed through the deliberate actions of their employees was by far the most upsetting to myself and my minority boyfriend.
