Came here on a rainy night and it was relatively easy to get a reservation. Good selection of pasta and pizza, freshly made. Service was great, the lady was so nice and patient with our large group. Servings were on the larger size which worked out perfect for our group.

Your order and take out starts here ! Just walk right up!

My family and were up here on vacation. There was a line but it went very quickly. Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Papa Santos Special pizza, which had pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The ingredients were nicely dispersed across the pizza and that made two slices very hearty and filling. Made for great leftovers too. I would order from here again if I'm in the area.

Reasonable prices on the entrees. Services were great. Friendly attentive staff. I'd come back again.

Simple pizza and Italian joint, with a number of tables and you can get takeout. $5 two plain slice and a soda or $6 for a single topping, good deals. The clam pasta with white sauce was thick and garlic was a little light but not sandy so that was good. Needed a bit more flavor. Parking lot in the strip mall is terrible though. Lots of potholes.

Chicken cheesesteak hoagie. Large chunks of chewy dry chicken. this was awful.

Well, that was a once and done. Son's sandwich was supposed to have raw not fried, he had fried. So much exposed roll inside where steak should be. My husband got a pizza steak, you couldn't even tell if there was cheese on it. The little bit of sauce they put was soaked into the roll because it was such a small amount. Mine was supposed to be a chicken cheesesteak with lettuce tomato and onion, it was gross. Pretty sad as there isn't much in the area and now this is off the list of possible places to eat.

Ordered Papa Santos Special pizza for a pick up. When I got home to try the pizza, it was not completely cooked. Raw onions and barely cooked mushrooms covered the pizza. Green peppers tasted almost expired so had to throw those out. We had to cook the pizza ourselves in the oven. After it was fully cooked, it tasted okay, nothing special but this is one of the few times I would not recommend ordering from a restaurant. Cannot comment on the service since it was a pickup order. Interior looked fine, a bit gloomy but it's a pizza shop. Go somewhere else. And if you are really desperate for pizza and Santos is the only place available, don't.

I would avoid this place. The staff are nice enough but the pizza is not very good. We also tried Gagliano's and it was noticeably better.

We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.

The strip mall itself isn't anything special, but the surrounding area is beautiful , and once you're inside, the restaurant feels warm and inviting. The food is fantastic, and the variety on the menu is impressive. The chef clearly knows what they're doing because every single dish we tried was genuinely delicious. It's the kind of spot where you can't go wrong: date night, dinner with friends, or anything in between. We brought our own bottle and had a great time. Our waiter was super knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The staff even joked around with me when I forgot my to‑go bag, and yes, I absolutely took it home because the food is that good. I also appreciate that they don't act like offering takeout is beneath them; even the takeout bag was nice. I honestly wish my meals were this good every night. I hope everyone who works here is paid well and enjoys what they do, because they're running the place exactly how a restaurant should be run. It feels like a true community staple somewhere that transports you a bit and makes the whole experience feel special. Lovely all around.

Tucked away in an unassuming strip mall is one of those places you almost don't want to tell people…read moreabout--because then you'll have a harder time getting a table. Luca's Ristorante is a hidden gem that proves you should never judge a restaurant by its parking lot. Not long after we were seated, we were greeted by Luca -- a Luca and not the Luca. Still he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about his restaurant, taking the time to walk us through the menu and checking in throughout the meal without ever hovering. Luca's has a partial liquor license, offering a modest wine selection but is otherwise being BYOB. As we were told with a smile, they're much more interested in what's ON your plate than what's IN your glass. We started with two excellent appetizers. The arancini, already a family favorite, were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and disappeared from the table faster than anyone was willing to admit. The Polpette, Luca's signature meatballs with pine nuts and raisins, certainly earned the praise they've received from NJ.com as some of the best in the state. Even if raisins in meatballs sound unusual, trust the process. The restaurant proudly calls itself "A Taste of Ischia," the beautiful volcanic island in the Bay of Naples, and the seafood absolutely lives up to that promise. My squid ink pasta with octopus (the Polypus) was outstanding, with perfectly tender octopus and beautifully balanced flavors. The scallops were buttery, sweet, and cooked to perfection, while the Ischia -- loaded with mussels, clams, and calamari -- was every seafood lover's dream. The rest of the menu proved just as impressive. The Pappardelle, featuring burrata and a rich Bolognese sauce, was a huge hit, while the Romolo, a comforting combination of chicken, pasta, bacon, and sauce, was another winner that had no leftovers to speak of. If you somehow still have room after dinner, Luca's offers a nice assortment of gelato. But do yourself one favor: don't leave without ordering a cappuccino. Rich, foamy, and expertly made, it's the perfect finale to a memorable meal. If you find yourself in Somerset, just a few turns off Routes 287 or 1, make the stop. You'll be greeted by a wonderful staff, treated to outstanding food, and very likely leave wondering how a restaurant this good has been hiding in a strip mall all along.
